The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 25

The kids just got home from school. Nick said that his teacher loved her gift. She read each tag outloud so they could all enjoy them. She also shared the smarties and hugs and kisses with the class. Hunter said that his teachers thanked him, but he's not even sure that they looked at what the gift was Oh well, at least we did something for them.

I had a nightmare last night. I dreamt that we had gone on our trip but for some reason had to leave earlier than expected. We forgot the tickets and scrapbook pages and probably some other things. I was relieved to wake up in my own bed knowing that my trip wasn't ruined

I have gotten a lot done today. Colby's closet is cleaned out. I've got an entire garbage bag of winter stuff that will not fit him next year and a tote of stuff that might. I have put away all of his summer stuff from last year along with any new stuff he has. His bureau and closest are already full and I haven't even looked through the 2 or 3 totes of stuff that Nick and Hunter wore. Maybe I'll just wait until I need an item that I can't find and dig through them then. I suspect that some of the shorts that I saved from last year may not fit him anyway. He seems to be growing a lot faster than his brother's did.

It was nice to drop by, but now back to my regularly scheduled cleaning.

Elizabeth I agree that you made the right decision on the cat.

Well, I'm caught up and now have to head out the door. The kids have a Dance Festival at the elementary school in 45 minutes, and I still have to find the camp chairs.

I went to the bowling banquet this morning, and it was so fun! Our team placed 9th out of 16, so that was really good. We were in 12th place last year, so we feel really good! For our prize, we got 25 dollars. Guess where that went? Right into my DL envelope!!! I also won a crystal bowl as a door prize. Very nice!!!

well My mom just called and she said the Drs are pretty sure its liver cancer my grandma has. They are sending the biopsy to the mayo clinic for confirmation. it will take about 2 weeks to get the confirmation. My mom asked the Dr. if it was not cancer then what could it be and he said nothing. It is inside the liver not on the outside. not sure the exact name of the cancer she has.

We saw Disney Princes wishes on ice last night. Olivia loved it.

Jennifer, I am so sorry! I hope they are able to get a correct diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan for her!

I got an e-mail from one of the moms I spoke to Wednesday. She wants to set up an interview! Unfortunately she didn't get the resume I e-mailed to her. I was so embarrassed - she thought I just forgot to forward it to her! But it is in my "sent" folder, so somehow it just didn't get to her inbox. Hopefully I will hear from her later tonight about setting up a time to meet.

I taught myself to check e-mail with my cell phone today. The only problem is once I read the messages on the phone they don't show on my computer. Not good.

I completed the application for the other cat rescue group, so now we'll see what happens with that. The first time I filled it out it ended up being blank when I tried to send it. I THINK I managed to submit a completed one the second time around, but I won't know for sure until she responds.
