Have a great day all, I need to get going!

All right, I bet there are of few on here that can relate to this:

Years ago, 2000, I think. I purchased several Pins to take to Disney and trade. My DD's decided they weren't really interested in trading that year so I put them somewhere. So I decided to drag them out and take them with us when we take our DGS, I figure he will have a good time with them. And of course I can't find them and it is driving me nuts!!!!!!! I did find two that I had set aside because I liked them and didn't want to trade, so I know they actually did exist. . . . . . :confused3

It's gonna bug me until I find them, the good news is I have now cleaned out my closet, :rotfl:

I love the journals!!! You did a great job!!!!!

Bernadette - They look terrific! You are going to have so much fun!

Hi Tia, glad to hear to hear you made it home safely.

Lots of :wizard: & for you!

Welcome home, Tia!

Garrett's game did not end till almost 11pm! I thought for sure it would be cancelled from the rain, but no the games went on. Was not a good night for them, oh well they have another game tomorrow night.

I hope the nights he has games during school do not go this long

Good luck with the upcoming games!

Has anyone that ordered their MNSSHP tickets received them yet?

Not that I am anxious or anything to get mine :yay:

I called for my P&P tickets on Tuesday and the guy said 8-10 business days, so we'll see.

Jen - Enjoy your relaxing day!

Deb - Hope your cheek feels better soon!

Well, DH has taken Aurora for a check-up. I am sure she won't appreciate that, but it was due. We are going to an adopt-a-thon at a shelter at 11 AM. We think Aurora will benefit from not being by herself all day. She loves to play, and Amanda never wanted to play with her. We are hoping to find a female kitten. DS seems ready for a new kitty, so hopefully we will find one!

DH & DS had a good time on the camping trip. DH is still attempting to wash the mud out of their clothes. DS has less than 3 weeks of school left. They are supposed to have Field Day on Friday so I hope things dry out before then!

Good luck, Debbie!

Right before my father died last year I bought some buttons to sew on a dress because I thought I might want to wear it to the funeral. The dry cleaners lost several of the original buttons, but by combining the ones I had that had fallen off with some new ones I was going to be able to have a full set of buttons. I had them in a baggie. I showed them to DH and said I was putting them in the kitchen drawer. When I went back to get them they were gone. We looked and looked and looked. We never found them. Until last week. I was looking for something in my nightstand drawer, and lo and behold, there was the baggie of buttons. I must have moved them and forgot that I moved them. Still haven't gotten around to sewing them on, though.:rolleyes1

Beware the pin trading addiction.;)

Glynis-thanks for posting your photos of the journals you made out of composition books a while ago. I made these for my friend's nieces. I used scrapbook paper I bought at Micheals that was heavy like cardstock so I trimed the paper as I couldn't have folded it over into the inside. They are not perfect but for a quick project I think they are pretty cool. I used a glitter modge podge.

These are gorgeous! And, in case Idon't get back from Richmond in time to say it later on today...

HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY TRIP, BERNADETTE!!!

Hey, Kevin...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hi all!! I am over 50 pages back and don't know if I'll catch up. If there is any news I need to know, please let me know!!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers this week. In many ways, I think the strength to get through the week came from the prayers of my family and friends. :grouphug:

Welcome home, Tia. We missed you! What an awful mess to come home to. I hope you get it all dried up amidst the rain. After a year, I still want to call my Mom every night on my way home from work.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Elin! What a great milestone you hit!! I'm glad that you enjoyed your shopping.

BTW - Is that a new hotel in your signature! What a wonderful CA trip you are going to have!

Thanks! :goodvibes

It is a new hotel. Chanon booked it for me this week and it is an anniversary surprise for Bob. He still thinks we are staying at the HoJo off property! ;)

I can't wait to hear all about your trip next week. I can hardly wait for mine to come too!

I'm home from work. Another painfully slow night, but at least I made more money than I would have sitting at home. Nick isn't feeling well. He went to the school nurse today complaining of a sore throat and ear ache. The nurse thinks it is viral. My concern is that he is supposed to go on his first boy scout camping trip tomorrow and he is so looking forward to it. I hope he wakes up feeling better and is able to go. :wizard: I'm hoping to get my camper cleaned up tomorrow. We'll be using it in 2 weekends and I haven't touched it yet. It is also green up day around here so the kids are involved in that. Looks like another busy one on tap for tomorrow.

Deb

I hope as I continue to read that Nick felt better this morning and could go on his camping trip!

Good Morning DDA,

Once again I've fallen hopelessly behind this week, I keep hoping that work will slow down to a son=mewhat normal pace but that just doesn't seem to happen.

I've missed sending out lots of hugs and PD :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug: :grouphug:

We have missed you too, Debbie. Take it from experience... work will not slow down. You just have to find your pockets of time within that rat race! :goodvibes

Hope the meet in Albany went well, Beth.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

My P3 is over and we are out of here. Kathrin is moving to a new apartment today and Kristin has some things packed that we can bring home from college too, so we are headed to Richmond (AGAIN ;)) to help out. It is to rain all day today and tomorrow so Bob and I got the yard mowed and trimmed before it was time to leave. See you all tonight!

I have to leave soon for a synchro meet in Albany and won't be back on until Monday. Have a great weekend, all!
Drive safe! Good luck to Laura & her team.:wizard:

Nick is camping with the Scouts this weekend.
Glad he got to go!

I can so relate! I damaged my sun glass clips on my December trip. I put them "someplace safe" and now I can't find them. My eye doctor said she thought she could fix them. My new lenses are transition so I shouldn't need them at Disney anyways but its driving me crazy that I can't find something I am generally so careful with. I'm not one to loose things like keys, wallets....so this makes me feel like things are out of controll right now.

:wizard: Good luck finding your pins!

Hey, Kevin...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

So many May birthdays here!

All the laundry is done. I went to the bank and post office this morning and picked up the Mickey birthday cake.

All autographs have been made but for some reason my Word file keeps getting out of alignment on the pages. :confused3 Something I'll have to fix when I get home. All CM cards are made. All Mousekeeping envelopes are made.

Lizzy packed her snacks for the week and is picking out her clothes. Joe will do the same when he gets home from soccer.

I printed delivery comfirmation of my snacks and water.

I need to wait a few more hours before I can print my boarding pass.

OK....I guess I better go finish packing! It still doesn't feel real yet.

Ive seen people talk about autograph pages--does anyone have them online or something that i could print out? i have a friend going to disney and would love to send her the autograph pages!

I have them on disc that I could send you. I will warn you that it is not cheap to make them. I made ours 8x8 and by the time I buy the protector sleeves, ink and book I bet I'll have $75 into the book. For us it is something that we will add to for years to come, but I wouldn't make one for just anyone. I also will have about 150 pages by the time I'm done. I'm sure it will take us years to get all of the pages signed :rotfl: I love a challenge though.
