Robyn, hugs for Molly...

Oh no!!! Well, just look at it as a trial run. :)

What time are you trying to get Cali Grill?
Wishes start at 9:00 pm.

Good Afternoon,

Stephanie - you never did get back to me about adopting a new family member - - - and were in single digits now. :confused3 :rotfl:
Come on down Deb! My kids are still complaining about the cost of the park tickets...:goodvibes

So I finally found a similar dress to Cassidy's:

the bottom doesn't poof out as much and it is pink with black lace over but it's similar to this. What do you all think??
Love the dress. Looks promy to me!!

I'm home. Got here about 8pm last night. I spent the day unloading 1201 cases of cookies, sorting them into troop orders & helping the troops load them in their vehicles. After 6 hours, they are all with the troops! Yeah!!!!!
You are a good woman Vicki...

You sound like you might be just a little excited that you are going to Disney next week? I'm just a wee bit jealous. However, I'm so happy for you.
Just a tad...

I can always tell when Stephanie has posted. It brings a smile to my face before I even begin to read.

I definitely think you need to make a button. One of those big buttons about 3 inches across so that you can wear it all the time.
:lmao: I think the button will do fine...

Hi Vicki :wave2: I am looking forward to Oct. as well. I can't wait to meet you all! Wouldn't it be cool if we could all meet at the Goofy statue & get a nice group picture :goodvibes
I think so. Maybe right after dinner as Terry and I leave the MK.

That is one of the reasons that I like the DDA. So many of you share my beliefs, passions or whatever you call them. I was raised to help others. It was just expected. Now it is just a part of who I am. Actually sometimes I get as much out of helping others as the person I'm helping.

A couple of days after my dad's funeral, I was staying at my parents house. About 2 in the morning there was a knock on the door. A couple of women were run off the main road about a 1/4 mile from my parents house. They asked to use the phone and left. This was in November. I got up, got dressed and took my car to find them. I stayed with them until the police came and then I drove them into town (since their car wasn't drivable). One of them was one of my close friends in high school who had kind of lost her way and she didn't realize it was my house she stopped at. She felt really bad because she had heard that dad had recently died. Mom and I both had felt that Dad guided them to the house for help. In all the years that they have lived there, they have never had someone stop and ask for help. It reminded mom and I that as much grief as we were in there were still others that needed our help.

Luckily, I raised two daughters with the same feelings. It bothers them when they see others that are in need and no one helping them. They both help when they see someone who needs it. I'm quite proud of them for that.
You're a good woman Vicki.:goodvibes

Terry and Stephanie -- I am calling for ADRs in the morning too. I was planning on breakfast at Cape May on Saturday, at 8:00 a.m. Do you want me to include you two in my reservation or do you want to make your own?
Terry? Oh ADR maker... Oh Terry???:rolleyes1 I dunno Elin. I planned our last trip, so Terry is planning this one. If you think it will be okay with your family... that way we don't have to make faces at you.:cloud9:

Theresa, I really like it, especially the detail in the bodice.

I wanted to share our squirrel story.... For some really strange reason the squirrels here ruin our garage door. They scratch at it until the paint is off, I assume to get at the wood underneath. Anyway DH has repainted the bottom of the garage door probably about 20 times, and he gets really frustrated. So he had heard this tip about cayenne pepper, so he mixed cayenne pepper in with the paint. Unfortunately, it didn't work. There is currently about a 1 ft. diameter hole in the paint in our garage door.

Has anyone else ever had/heard of a problem like this with squirrels? We don't know what else to do except maybe buy a new aluminum garage door. :confused3 I actually find it kind of funny, but I don't think DH is amused!
I don't have any advice Ellen, but your story made me chuckle. I picture your DH as Bill Murray at war with the gopher in Caddyshack! :rotfl:

Great idea! :thumbsup2

Well, I hope you liked it! I eat there every single Wednesday night and enjoy it. It is good food and the people are nice.

I have both hopper passes and $ to get to you tomorrow or Sunday. Do you have a preference? I can easily swing by your house. Maybe while you and Bob are spreading mulch.... :rolleyes1
We enjoyed it. And afterwards I made my first stop of the summer at Carl's for a strawberry malt! :goodvibes

I can either stop at your place around 9:30 AM on our way home from soccer or you can swing by here later in the morning or afternoon. Give me a call on my cell.

Well, good night, everyone! I get to go give Jacob his ear drops, and then I'm headed to bed! Sweet Disney Dream (especially for you single digit people!)!!! Talk to you all tomorrow!
Hey, that's me!!!! :yay:

And so ends my P3. Goodnight everyone. I have to be up bright and early and ready to leave the house at 7:15. UGH!

Since we are all meeting at the LTT for supper, we probably could meet before about 4pm to do that.

Or right after we are done eating since Stephanie and I are not staying for the party.

Good night, Tammi!

I would love to go to bed, but the Evil eBay has me in it's clutches. I have 3 pins ending in the next hour that I REALLY want to get for DH. Unfortunately they are separate auctions so I don't want to put BIG bids on all of them!:rotfl: They are villain pins that I have bid on before but lost. I have already won 2 from this seller, but they were ones that I bid on because they were cheap and she combines shipping.

Aurora is on my desk trying to give herself a bath. Her furry little parts keep getting in the way of my mouse and my keyboard!

We found out yesterday that DS passed the math portion of his TAKS, so now we just have to wait for the results of the science portion. We got DH all signed up to go on the camping trip. I am sure he could have worked those days, but DS wanted him to go along. And I will feel much better if DH goes along to supervise. The theater performance on Wednesday was cute. It is a video production class, so they made a little movie that was a spoof of American Idol. Very funny. Now he is finished with theater until July.

I get to go see the inside of the middle school for the first time next Thursday.:scared: They are doing some sort of little introduction, but the note was kind of funny. It reads like it is for the kids, but unless they are going to make it into a field trip the only kids who will be there are the ones whose parents take them over there! I traded my morning off from Wed. to Thur. so I can go with DS.

Hi Paula! My breasts were stolen. Mine were perky and would fail the pencil test. The ones that replaced mine could hide a can of peas.:rolleyes1

Well, my house is cleaner than when I moved in. My sink is so white.... even when I did flylady and shined my sink, it wasn't this white.:goodvibes :goodvibes I think I'll put the kids in bubble wrap.:rotfl2:

My DGS3 came over to me and showed me his Mater briefs. Then he said, play Disney on the computer. So he jumped on my lap and I went to the Disney website. He likes the music. Then he saw the dining icon, and he said press there Ma Ma. So I did and then Jo Jo and Goliath were there and June and Leo. And we pressed them all. He is so excited.:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Tomorrow we start packing!!!:dance3:

Good Morning DDA,

I've got a half day at work today and then DGS is spending the night and we are planning on taking him to the zoo tomorrow.

Looking at land was quite the sobering experience yesterday. Thanks to Katrina land prices have quadrupled in areas that did not flood. It's looking more and more like this is going to be our home for years to come, it's not what we wanted but it's not the end of the world either. We'll keep our eyes open for a deal that fits.

Have fun packing Stephanie,

Have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning. I had a terrible night's sleep. I think I was awake for most of it, and if I wasn't I was tossing and turning restlessly. Today may definitely call for a nap.

I need to hop in the shower and force myself to look half human. Hope you all have a good day.

I am getting ready to call now, Stephanie. My girls aren't going to go to breakfast that day so I have adopted you and Terry for that morning and you will be part of our ADR!

yum!

I won't be here at 9:30 so that won't work. I will be over near Dixon-Smith or I will swing by your house later. Whichever you prefer. I will call and tell Nicholas to have a great game in the sun!

Debbie - I am sorry you didn't find what you had hoped to in the way of land. We have lived inmany different places in lots of different kinds of houses, some owned and some rented. We discovered early on that it is not the house but the people in it and the way they live their lives that makes the home. So, if you cannot find that right piece of land I hope you will learn to be content in the house that is less than perfect for you but that has become your home.

:( I hope the shower and the beautiful weather we are having will perk you up, Tammi. See you later on today.
