Deb, thanks for another vote of confidence for Glynis's pot roast recipe. I was gonna make it once, but chickened out because even though John likes pot roast he is picky and usually won't try new things.
I guess I just need to make it and see how John, mom and Dawn like it. I am the picky one this time though, as I don't like pot roast anyway you make it.

Well I think its that time. Talk with you all tomorrow.

pixiedust: and :grouphug: to all.

I was so focused on my flusters yesterday that I forgot to mention a member of my work church had a super preemie last week. Cathie was due in July....Catherine was born last Wednesday at 1 lbs 8 oz.

Bless her! While it's scary, it's amazing how little ones can beat all the odds! My friend and I were pregnant at the same time, me with Jacob and Peggy with Jameson. We were due within 2 weeks of each other, both in November. Jameson got antsy, and was born on July 23. He weighed 1 pound 14 oz. It was so scary for a while, but he was quite a little fighter!!! He was released from the hospital on his due date of November 8, just as my Jacob was being born.

The most amazing thing is that Jameson has suffered NO problems because of his preemie birth at all! No sight problems, no hearing problems, developmentally, he's right where he should be! It was a real amazing thing to see! Just tell your friend to keep the faith, prayers and good thoughts flowing. I'll send mine along, too!

Jennifer - congratulations on graduation being so soon! Please let us know if you get an antenna topper, and I'll check the next time I'm at the mall.

!

Thanks Jennifer! i havent gotten an antenna topper yet.if you wouldnt mind checking, that would be great! thanks

Just a quick post to say Thank you to Glynis for sharing her recipes.

Your pot roast was a huge hit! Even picky eater DH loved it.

I'm so glad you liked it! I think that's my number 1 recipe!!!!!

This is the design I will be wearing for MNSSHP :woohoo:

Thank you Kristine!

cute!

Oh my! What is her prognosis? I can't imagine a baby that tiny. Prayers for the family.

Scary tiny!!! With my friends baby, the daddy took off his wedding ring and slid it up Jameson's arm. It went all the way up his shoulder and was really, really loose!

It's amazing how much they can go through, and still survive!

Give it a try! Here's a tip, though. The recipe calls for 2 roasts, but I always use just one. Don't halve the sauce recipe, though. Use the full amount and enjoy the yummy gravy it makes!!!

Jennifer - Great site! You have done a good job.

Janet - I love that design! I think that it's perfect for you.

Theresa - Good luck with the 2nd bid. I hope that you get what you need to make things work.

Debbie - Congrats on the trip plans! I am dying to book for free dining, but don't think that's going to happen. :(

Deb - Great job, Nick! I am sorry to hear about Hunter though. I hope that Hunter can find the challenges he needs to keep him on task and out of trouble.

Robyn - I'm sorry that Molly's test can't be made any sooner. Loads of pixie dust that it is conclusive and that she can be feeling better sooner rather than later.

I'm catching up, and thus far, Tia said it all so perfectly, so I'm just going to say ditto! :thumbsup2

Tia - I hope you get some good rest tonight!

Crossing Jordan is over, my kids are all in bed, and I'm all caught up. Whew!!! I got most of the stuff I needed to do done, so I'm feeling pretty good!

Tomorrow should be pretty hectic, too. Another round of babysitting (my niece, Olivia, so it should be really fun), preschool for the twins, eyebrows waxed, trip to the library, violin lessons for Katie, packing up the kids for staying with their cousins (Alan and I are going out of town Friday and Saturday), and another load of laundry.

Guess I'll go check on Jacob and head to bed. He got a migraine earlier, so I'm just waiting for him to throw up and then he'll sleep for at least 10 hours. Poor little guy!

Night everyone!

I was just going to ask you about this Glynis! I wanted to make it with just one roast. We end up wasting the second roast. :scared1: $$$$$ My family doesn't do leftovers very well.:sad2:

It is without a doubt the best roast I've ever eaten...

Oh my! What is her prognosis? I can't imagine a baby that tiny. Prayers for the family.

Catherine has 2 older sisters that were also super preemies. They all are sweet kids, she probably will be like her big sisters. They are still on the small side but there isn't obvious delays.

Well, RL is still getting in the way of my dising.:surfweb:

Tomorrow is going to be a doosie. :surfweb: :surfweb:

Theresa.. good luck on the house. :wizard:

All of the Easter pictures are so cute. Hugs and pixie dust for all in need.:wizard: :grouphug:

I had to run to Barnes and Noble to return Deidre Imas' book we bought on Saturday after her appearance on the Today Show. We are trying to get our home fragrance free and thought we could use some of her cleaning green suggestions. This was before I heard the blue language from her husband. :furious:

15 more days people. 15 more days!!!!
