Amy - Feel better soon!:wizard:

Heidi made me feel guilty, so I vacuumed.;) Well, not thoroughly, but I vacuumed the hall, which was visibly dirty. Our hallway comes down from the front door like a runway, so it always gets yucky.

Now I'm off to see if I can get a load of laundry done before I have to get in the shower.

Chat with you later!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: for all those feeling sick, or with ill kiddos! I certainly hope we don't start passing around these viruses again!

Have a good day!

And happy birthday, Glynis!!!!

Good morning everyone... it finally happened, I got whatever my kids have been passing around for the last month. Hope everyone has a good Monday.

:grouphug: :grouphug:

Looks like it is just starting here. Oh the fun

hope you get to feeling better! :wizard:

All 4 bedrooms are back in order and the last load of laundry is in the dryer. I can see the top of the kitchen table again and I have dug out all of the boys snowboarding stuff. I'm glad that is behind me. The boys are eating lunch then all 3 are having a nap. Nick knows that if you don't go to school you MUST take a nap. :) I feel better when the house is tidy. Now if Chris will get the Kitchen done tonight we will be all set :thumbsup2

Making it official:

How beautiful! I love this one!!!

I really need your help! I have so much to do before we leave on our trip. If you don't see me posting anything about getting ready for the trip, ask me how things are going please! When we went in December, I was ironing on shirts the night before. I don't like being that way. I want to relax the day or two before leaving on our trip knowing that I have things done.
I know you've got that big project going on at work and filling in for the woman on maternity leave. I have learned that sometimes I've just got to let some things go. Wouldn't you still have a great trip if you didn't make new shirts or didn't make the clipboard? Here's hoping you get all you want done without getting too stressed.:wizard:

Sorry I've been MIA tonight! It seems like Jacob has come down with the stomach bug that's going around. He's been throwing up since about 7:00 tonight. Poor little guy! And then there's Leslie, our smog level has risen so much that it's considered "unhealthy" to go outside. It's made her breathing really raspy, and she's coughing horribly! Luckily, Katie and Mary seem to have escaped it all for now! I'm keeping Jacob quarantined, so hopefully that will help. I don't know, though! Wish us luck, and pixie dust for a peaceful night!
:wizard: Hope that all are feeling better soon and the healthy ones stay that way.

the wapasadi board says the audience challenge poll will be posted tomorrow morning
Is there somewhere to read them?

Here you go :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: (one for each child:) ). I didn't know that you had a lot of smog in UT.

How was your night?
I'm guessing the smog is from LV. We took a trip to AZ and UT and we couldn't believe how far away we could see the smog when driving toward LV.

This is what I have food wise for my birthday, yes I am a plan aheader. (hehe not even a real word :rotfl: )

Deli Platters - Ham, Turkey, Bologna, Salami, American Cheese, Swiss Cheese (what else would you add?) of course the rolls and condiments

Lasagna (but not the typical, wanna make it with Penne noodles)

Macaroni Salad

Cowboy Beans

Fruit & Dip

Veggies & Dip

Bologna, Cheese and Crackers Platter?

Deviled Eggs (because everyone always wants my deviled eggs)

Jello Cake (birthday cake)

Tea, Coffee, Soda, Water

No chips and dip, my family would rather eat the veggies and dip and fruit and dip.

Please tell me what you would add/take away.

Sounds great. :thumbsup2

Bernadette~ :wizard: that you get better soon!

Heidi~ Your menu sounds great except I would do pepperoni with your cheese tray instead of bologna. And thanks for making me crave lunchmeat! I am so dying for a good cold cut sub but it's a no no for me right now :sad1:
Thanks!

Can you eat cold cuts if you heat them?

I would take a couple of short sleeved shirts. You can always put a sweatshirt or jacket over it. I checked AccuWeather for our trip and it is saying RAIN for Friday AND Saturday.:guilty: Those are the only days we have for the parks this time around, so I hope that forecast is wrong!
:wizard: Wishing you sunny weather.

it is 34 here and Bob waited until it got light and warmer to try to clean off the truck. It took him a while to get the door open to get to the scraper, though. :rotfl: It is done and things are definitely melting now.

ETA: I notice that he did NOT clean off my car.
Can I give Bob the benefit of doubt and assume that he thought your car would melt off before you had leave? Maybe he was running late already? If not...bad Bob!

Colby was up at 1 AM with his feet and legs bothering him. He seems fine now. Thankfully he will get his new orthodics on the 31st. Hopefully that will help with the nighttime pain.

Hunter somehow managed to drop the PS2 on his ankle last night so he has been hobbling around since then. Snowboarding starts tonight so I will have to touch base with him around lunch to see if I need to dig out all his stuff for tonight.

Nick is home sick with diarrhea, stomach ache and sore throat. I really doubt that he will feel up to snowboarding tonight although he still hopes to.
Your poor little men! :wizard: Hope all are feeling better soon.

I heard on the news that some of the Patriots had this nasty flu thing too.

Good morning everyone... it finally happened, I got whatever my kids have been passing around for the last month. Hope everyone has a good Monday.
:wizard: Hope you're feeling better soon too.

Lizzy went to school today. Hopefully she can escape this. Joe & Emma are both still in my bed but both are awake now. Joe said he wasn't feeling well and Emma was vomiting a little this morning. Hopefully they'll both feel better this afternoon. I'm sticking to tea, crackers, toast and may have some rice this afternoon. Been keeping it all down but feel queasy if I try to do too much. I was hoping I would feel up to getting the rest of the Christmas stuff put away but I don't know if that will happen. Maybe I'll get DH to bring the boxes down for me. We're having a piano delivered on Wednesday so it would be great to have that stuff out of the way! My SIL is moving in with my MIL so she's giving us her piano. It is as small as it can be and still be a full keyboard piano. I'm really happy it's coming as both DH & Lizzy can play by ear. Our next door neighbor who is currently living & teaching in CT at a boarding school said she'd give Lizzy lessons when she's here this summer.

You are so sweet, Bernadette! He was running late (forgot half the stuff he brought home on Friday) and he probably figured I wouldn't go out until later today. Thanks for reminding me. :goodvibes

A piano! YIPPEE!!

Thanks for the pixie dust. It seems to be working. Jacob is much better (although I kept him home from school). He threw up most of the night, but has been quiet since about 3:00 this morning.

Leslie's cough seems to be better today. Of course, that could be due to the fact that we had quite a windstorm last night that blew most of the crud out of the air.

Unfortunately, we live close enough to Salt Lake City to get their residual smog! It's icky and brown, and really gross! I can't wait for the storm to come that they are predicting. That will clear it out for a while. Where I grew up, it was such a small town, and no big cities anywhere near, so I never had to deal with the smog until we moved up north. Now, it's just something you get used to. None of my other kids are affected by it, but Leslie's lungs are just a lot weaker than the others, so it gets nasty.

On the bright side, it's nothing like the smog in L.A.!!!!

Not a thing!!!!! That looks delicious! I might add a tray of my lemon bars, hello dolly cookies and other sweet stuff, but that's just me!

I'm so sorry, Amy! I hope you feel better soon!!!!

Bernadette.....

I love our piano that was a hand me down....it's also not that big and needs a tuning but the girls get such joy out of playing!!

Don't forget to get it tuned....after moving it it needs to be tuned.

Well, Nicholas is now running a fever. :sad2:

Oh, no! Poor Nicholas! I'm crossing my fingers that it goes away without bringing anything else. Keep Alyssa away from him!!!!!

Thanks, everyone, for my birthday greetings! They really brighten my day! You guys are so wonderful!!!!!

Tammi,

Lots of liquids!!!!! Poor little guy! Hope Nicholas is feeling better soon.:wizard:
