What a very pretty girl you are.

Do you think they might "get it" if you stopped babysitting or started sending them the repair bills. I can't imagine any kids behaving that poorly.

Sending them the repair bills might be a good idea. Luckily, they haven't caused major damage to my house. Mostly because while they are here I don't let them out of my sight for too long! Usually, I stay right with them. I also don't let them anywhere near my scissors.

Unfortunately, Alan feels like we need to babysit them, to keep up family ties. They watch our kids for us when we go places, so we "owe" them. Whatever. Next time, I'll agree for Alan to babysit them.

It's okay. I was actually able to chuckle while typing that. ;)

I always tell my divorced/seperated friends they look much cuter now than with the bafoon standing next to them. Most of them really do look more beautiful now than in their wedding pics.....I loved your dress but I think you are definitely prettier now!!

Thanks, Theresa. :)

You were a young thing! My mother-in-law turned 18 about 2 weeks before they got married, and she was done having babies by the time she was 21! I was a matronly 24 before I was married.

My poor mother was a grandma at 41 when some of her friends were just having babies...I am just hoping the cycle of having kids at 20 is broken for Cassidy....I don't want grandkids at 40!!!!:rotfl:

Yes the dusting stuck, but the townships and the state cindered the heck out of the roads so they were pretty clear. My sister figured that they hadn't used any snow days yet so because they have Monday off (in-service) they decided to close today and make a long weekend.

:confused3 Maybe they are being quick to call it, because there haven't been any snow days yet? We have a dusting that is sticking to the grass, but our roads have been clear all day.

Well ladies, as it seems the men have gone off else where. :confused3

J/K, I know they are busy with work and real life.

Since we have been talking about weddings and proposals, when did you get married?

May 3, 1986 (yes I got married on my birthday).

May 26, 1990.

My mother weighed 89 lbs when she got married. There was no way that her gown would have fit me. I think I fit into it in 6th or 7th grade :rotfl: :rotfl:

Deb

My Mom weighed somewhere between 120-130 pounds when she got married. She has always told me since I am very young I would never fit in her dress, as we are built differently. But I would love to prove her wrong and be able to fit in it and zip it, although I wouldn't actually wear it for my wedding. It will most likely not happen as I probably will never again weigh that little and as she has pointed out I am built differently, but I can dream.

I   looking at all of your pictures and dreaming. You are all such beautiful brides and have handsome grooms. Someday my prince will come.:thumbsup2

 They're lucky he hasn't accidentally hurt his little sister playing around with scissors on her like that. Goodness knows I don't believe in beating children but it sounds like that kid needs a good spanking. Well, I hope your able to relax after your day of babysitting.:wizard:

I don't generally believe in spanking either (except in instances where my kid has done something potentially life threatening), but something needs to happen to this kid. The basic form of discipline in their house is the time out. Unfortunately, Donny just thinks that's funny. Except when he's at my house. Time out in my house is in the "naughty spot". My laundry room with the door closed and the lights off. It's not fun! Donny has spent time there at my house, and it seems to work...at least while he's here. Then he goes home, and there are no "real" consequences for his actions there. Last time he cut Mattie's hair, the only thing his parents did was give him a buzz cut to show him how it felt to have his hair cut by someone else. Too bad he liked it!

Since we waited, my MIL was 45 before she was a grandmother (only 3 years older than I am now)! She also had friends who waited and have children just a few years older then her grandchildren.

When my brother worked in NC, he met a great-grandmother who was 49! She, her daughter, and her granddaughter all had their first babies at 16-17.

Better yet, call Super Nanny to whip the whole family into shape.;)

Better the Super Nanny than me, as SOME of you suggested!:rolleyes1

For thoes of you who watch Grey's, what do you think of Washington and what he has said?

I haven't heard his latest ugly quote. But it seems he has a problem with other cast members that he isn't willing to conceal, so maybe he needs to leave the show.

And with 1000, I'm going to say goodnight!party: :tinker: ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo :goofy:

Congrats, Debbie! Glad inventory is over!

Good morning all...Let me just say that this weather is so driving me crazy. My sinuses have been haywire all week resulting in a constant headache and stuffy/runny nose and not to mention I feel like scratching my eyes out. UGH, I'm predicting that this baby is a boy as I was never sick while pregnant with either of the girls. Well I did get a stomach bug when pregnant with Molly but everyone that I knew had it so it was unavoidable.

Are you carrying wide or all in front? With DS I looked like I was trying to shoplift a basketball, but from the back I still had a waist!:rotfl2:

Tammi--great pics!! When did you get married???

Theresa - Congrats on your milestone! And Tammi - your dress is similar to mine. I am so bummed that I cna't get my pics on for you all to see!

Lindsay - I got married when I was 22. Definitely NOT the norm in this town! And I had DS when I was 25, also NOT the norm! The girls around here either have them before they turn 18 or they wait until they are nearly 40!

Hey all, how long do you keep your lunch meat for?
