Good morning!

The temps stayed above freezing, so no delays here.

Debbie and Theresa - congrats on your milestones.

We have this strange white stuff on the ground and falling from the sky. I think that I vaguely remember it. We're not supposed to get much, though, so no school delays/closings here.

I'm driving to Corning to meet my parents and return their dog as long as the weather up there way is good for driving. I haven't heard from them yet this morning.

No lotions, when its that bad use an antibiotic cream.

It was alright. I'm still sick, my poor nose is rubbed so dry and raw from tissues it isn't funny. I'm even using the lotion ones and constantly rubbing my nose with various moisturizers and things but it doesn't help. I should head to bed but am too lazy to get out of the chair I am sitting in.

MORNING DDA! I'M SO EXCITED IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY!

Can't wait to see if photos get uploaded for wedding pics and flowers. I went to Borders last night and returned a Lonely Planet book on Europe, got a cookbook and two wedding magazines...one was BH&Gardens Wedding Bouquets! I think I picked out my favorites - hopefully the florist will be accomodating and help me try to determine pricing - I'm also going to see if I can weasel something out of him if I book this year for next...like free flowers on the wedding cake or a supply of rose petals...
I think my biggest problem is if I want to go "fun" or "elegant" looking with flowers...I love the rust colored calla lilliles, but love the gerbia daisies and those are two completely different looks!

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Good morning!

It's actually snowing here!

First time this year. The kids are so excited but they think they are staying home. It's supposed to be in the 40 this afternoon so it will all melt. No closing/delays here.

Have a great day, I'll check back later.

I hated my flowers! The florist didn't listen to me at all and just did his own thing. He was supposed to be so good, too, which is probably why he thought his ideas were better than mine. I wanted it very simple...several stems of daffodils and blue iris with a little greenery and a few lily of the valley tucked in tied with a simple bow. I just about cried when they arrived. There were a few daffodils and blue iris and even a couple lily of the valley, but there was a ton of other stuff in there, too. It looked like a big jumbled mess tied with a giant ugly bow to me. I just went ahead with it all so as not to add any extra stress to my mother's day, but it is the one thing that really wasn't right. (Well, my veil wasn't what I'd ordered either, and they had to add a panel to the neckline of my dress, because it was cut much, much lower than the one that I had tried on...)

The flowers for the church were white daisies and white mini-carnations. Those were ok. I didn't care as much about those.

Here is a photo.

Beth what a lovely picture! Sorry to hear you were not pleased with your flowers. I will have to see about scanning some. I remember awhile back Deb & a few others posted their wedding pics & I really enjoyed looking a them.

Thanks! In the grand scheme of life, it certainly isn't a big deal. I can't believe that was almost 19 years ago. I've aged quite a bit!

Good morning all...Let me just say that this weather is so driving me crazy. My sinuses have been haywire all week resulting in a constant headache and stuffy/runny nose and not to mention I feel like scratching my eyes out. UGH, I'm predicting that this baby is a boy as I was never sick while pregnant with either of the girls. Well I did get a stomach bug when pregnant with Molly but everyone that I knew had it so it was unavoidable.

Chanon, I loved the cake that you posted. It is very elegant. I had fresh flowers on my cake. But I think that cake with the colors would be just fabulous! Mine was white on white scrollwork, very similar to that one. That's why I went with flowers on top. It needed some color.

As for flowers, mine were free. My grandmother's friend did them as my wedding present. My girlfriend used the florist inside one of our local supermarkets and while I was skeptical they turned out great. And they were significantly cheaper than a regular florist. So you may want to check that option.

I will have to scan some of my wedding photos in. Although I hate just about everyone of them. My photograhper was late getting to my parent's house and therefore very behind schedule so we missed a lot of shots. And to top it off he brought his wife who was a twit. When my girlfriend said something to her about them being late, she remarked that well normally when they get there on time the bride is not usually ready. I don't care if I am in my underwear. You are paid to be there. Then during the reception she proceeded to join in a lot of the dances and such. So needless to say she is in a lot of photos. I would so love to have new pictures taken as I just looked po'ed in many of them!

Oh and Eric and I started dating in Jan of 97, were engaged in June of 97 at the wishing well in Magic Kingdom, and married Oct of 98.

Hi Robyn! Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Glad you & baby are doing fine other than the cold :guilty:

Please post some wedding pictures, I love looking at them. I just looked through ours & there is not one good picture of Gary & I together. After the wedding we did not even think to have pictures taken of the whole wedding party :confused3 Oh well, it is still fun looking at them. Hopefully he will get them scanned for me so I can post a few.

Thanks Janet!

I can remember looking at my mom/dad's wedding photo and my dad's 2 brother's photos at my grandparents. I loved dreaming about my wedding! My one aunt's gown was so sohphisicated and elegant I so wish I could have worn it. My mom wanted me to wear her's, sorry mom, it was so 70's it was just funny! It looked good on her but no way would I be caught dead in it!!
