Jen - It will go fast! DS's first semester this year FLEW! Make sure you get plenty of rest and keep up on your vitamins - those little kids are germy. DS saw something (either on TV or in a magazine) that a school desk has WAAAAY more germs/bacteria than a toilet. How gross is that? Wash those hands!! That's why we gave DS's teachers anti-bacterial soap and gel for Christmas.;)

Thanks Elizabeth--Im CONSTANTLY washing my hands..i should get a purell, thanks for the idea!
You guys made me feel better-honestly.,.i guess i was just overwhelmed!! besides, its really less than 4 months, im done May 4, plus we get a week off for Easter--so i decided to look forward to little things at a time..now its presidents weekend, then easter, then the end!

My house is looking a bit better. I have the canisters and cookie jar on the counter. They are cute although the canisters hold much less than our old set and so does the cookie jar. I can een see the top of the table and buffet :thumbsup2 Of course the kitchen is actually Chris's area yet I spent several hours in there today :rolleyes1 I even took the cat's water fountain apart and washed all the pieces. Laundry is going great, I even did a bonus load of coats. I need to get to the grocery store tonight as we are out of a bunch of things.

Oh yeah, dinner is cooking too. I made turkey stew for Chris and I and Chicken Cordon Blue for the boys. Everyone will be happy.

Thanks Glynis--its good to know each day will get better!!
Im used to the exhaustion, i think its just worse because i didnt sleep good last night..

All my friends have been calling and were comparing stories--im glad they are feeling the same way i am, then i KNOW its normal! We will get through this..the next 4 months will go quick, right?!

Faster than you think. Once you actually get into the teaching part of it, time will fly!

Leftover chili here, it always seems better the next day!(maybe that's because I don't have to cook lol)

:bored:
What is everyone having for dinner? We are having a Wonder chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy.

Here in Pa. (well not sure if all of Pa) 2 gentleman Harry & Sigmund Weis, opened a grocery store that mostly sells generic food, with their name on it. They have some name brand items but it is sometimes hard to get something and if its a new item forget it, you would get it quicker somewhere else.

John and I are name brand food people, but the Wonder chicken sold under the Weis name is very good.

Ok, part 3 of my WDW trip report:

Sunday morning dawned bright and early. By 5:30, my body was awake. Unfortunately, when that happens there is no going back to sleep for me. I didn't want to wake Alan up with tossing and turning, so I hobbled out to the couch and watched some tv. My feet felt much better, but my legs really felt like jelly. I fixed some oatmeal, and had some juice (my throat began hurting at the half, and I didn't want to get sick). It all tasted good! I've just been so hungry since the half. I guess doing that much exercise really took up all my food stores. Anyway, once breakfast was over, I took some Airborne, and some Zicam, a little Tylenol for the pain, and I crashed on the couch again. Everyone else began to wake up at this point, and joined me in front of the tv.

The way we were all feeling, we knew that doing a park was out of the question. I wasn't about to waste a Disney day hobbling around the park all sore. We decided to hit a church meeting, and then drive to the Kennedy Space Center (this was really for my BIL). I was ok with that, as everyone wanted to do a full day at Epcot on Monday. We hurried as fast as possible, and got ready for church. Now comes the problem. We all belong to the predominant religion of Utah, and here you can find a church on every street corner. Not so in Orlando. We had gotten an address before we left, so we punched it into our GPS system and started off. Well, the address was wrong, and we were led in the completely opposite direction. By the time we found out, it was too late to hit a meeting. We decided we'd get brownie points for trying, and headed back to the house to change. There was NO WAY I was going to walk around the space center in 3 inch heels and a dress. Uh-uh!

We changed as quickly as our bodies would allow us to (amazing how the muscles would stiffen up with all the sitting in the car), and soon we were on our way. I have to admit that at this point I don't remember too much. I guess I had let my protein levels dip way too low, and I was really out of it. Scott got really concerned and pulled into a Burger King to order some lunch. They got some meat into me, and within about 40 minutes I was feeling much better. I'm still trying to figure out how my body deals with the exercise, and the small amounts of food that I can eat. I learned my lesson, though. No more scrimping on the food! Especially after expending that much energy! Luckily, Alan remembered that the only thing I like at Burger King is the fish sandwich, so I didn't have to eat a disgusting hamburger!

We got to the space center, paid for a half day admission and started strolling. I have to say, space stuff is really not my thing. It's cool, and all, but it's not Disney. However, Alan is really in to this! He and Scott loved all the exhibits and displays. I do have to admit that some of the stuff was really neat! We spent a few hours there, and then began the trek back to Orlando.

Traffic was really heavy on the way back, and there are some crazy drivers out there. We were almost hit as we slowed down for a toll booth, but since Carrie has great reflexes we managed to squeak out of it. We got home around 7:30 that night, and Alan offered to cook dinner. I was up for that, so Carrie and I soaked in the hot tub while Alan and Scott cooked for us. They made yummy burgers, with a green salad. For dessert...grilled pineapple. Very yummy, indeed! We spent the evening playing backgammon, and watching movies. It was a relaxing day, and we were all feeling much better by bedtime! I was even able to enjoy the premiere of The Apprentice L.A. I don't know if I'm going to like it this season. I loved Caroline and George, and without them, I don't know if there's much to enjoy about it. Oh well, time will tell. While I was watching the show, I spent some time on Carrie's computer, planning out our day at Epcot. I was determined to maximize the time that we had there, and wasn't about to take any guff from the other 3. I asked what they were most interested in, and what kind of food they wanted, and then I came up with a game plan.

By the time I showered and went to bed, I felt almost human. My legs were feeling great, and the only ill effect from the marathon was a black toenail. Scott says that makes me a real runner. He says that you're not really a runner until you've lost your first toenail. I guess that will be happening soon! It's still quite black!

Stay tuned for the last part of my trippie: Our day at Epcot!

In my 5+ years with the AIDS walk I never actually walked the route! Such is the curse of being on the committee - I was always stuck doing other stuff and couldn't leave my assigned duties to go do the walk.

Dad was in charge of all the pre-stuff - sending out the applications, setting up the mile markers, etc. That way he could participate with the family.
