:rotfl:

Last Thursday night I was doing note reading on the board with one of my newer classes. There is a family that are DVC owners whose daughter is in that class. When I had three of the notes up on the board she deadpanned... "That is a Hidden Mickey" and the rest of the class looked at us like we had lost our minds when we discussed it! :rotfl2:
:lmao:

Isn't it funny when you get it and everyone else looks at you strangely. It's like you are in your own secret club.

If you're looking to fill a spot - here's my 2007 vacation schedule:
Memorial Weekend - Cooperstown NY
April 21 - driving to NC for a wedding
July 7th - I'm in my cousin's wedding
July 14th - best friend from high school wedding

Do you prefer him for Memorial Day Week-end or for the two wedings in July? I can put you in the schedule for either one of those.

Good morning :)

I do not have to work today & the boys are home.

We did not get the snow that was being forecast, thank goodness. Right now it is just icy out, but I am sure this will melt soon. My truck stayed in the driveway :rotfl:

I need to do laundry today & I am going to cook a pot of chili in the slow cooker. I want to have this over corn chips with some cheese, yum! I always make to much, so I will add macaroni to the leftover to make some chili mac.

Chuck made homemade chili yesterday for us and I made corn bread to go with it. I think Mom & I will be having that for lunch again today. It is so yummy!!! I haven't had chili mac in years. I just might do that for lunch today. That sounds really good. Or I might make a chili cheese baked potato. Hmmm. Decisions, decisions?!

I not trying to be snoty, I like the white one behind it.

What does everyone think?

I picked up the new prescription to help me sleep yesterday. The pharmasist said to take it 1/2 hour before wanting to sleep. I took it at 10 PM last night, by 11 PM it hadn't worked (the doctor said it might take 2) so I took another. The end result was extreme dry mouth (worse than I have ever experienced. It was difficult to breath as my mouth was so dry. I needed water every 5 minutes) and I was still awake at 3:30 this morning :furious: So now I have 5 kids in the house and I got about 3 hours of sleep :sad2: :crazy2: I'm thinking that after my weekend this is not a good way to start the week. So far they have been pretty good. I think I'll take a nap with the little ones later just for sanity purposes. Oh yeah, the phone rang at 8 am and it was a coworker. She wanted me to switch nights as the weather is bad today and she wanted to stay home and have me work tonight and she would work thursday night. I told her no way. I've already covered for her the last 2 weeks while she was on vacation and I don't feel like finding someone to watch the kids for an hour this afternoon and I'm tired. I keep telling myself that it is ok to say no, but I still feel guilty:rolleyes2 I really hate working when it is slow and Mondays are always the slowest night of the week and with bad weather I would go :crazy2:

I spoke to the Dr.s office this morning and they are prescribing a new med. I have to tell you that after last night I am leary about trying new meds. I certainly won't try it for a couple of nights. Back to tylenol PM for a couple of nights.

The kids are looking for breakfast so I'd better get moving.

Have a nice day.

Deb

:grouphug: I sure hope that you can get things resolved soon! Going without sleep is not conducive to watching kids. You made the right decision about switching with the coworker. You have to take care of yourself first. You need the rest!

Yep, I agree!::yes::

Has anyone ever had to deal with jaw pain? Mine started bothering me about a week ago, one one side up by the ear, where the upper and lower jaw meet. I assumed I slept crooked or something and that it would go away. I hasn't. In fact, it's getting worse. Now I can't even bite down without a stabbing pain. It's painful to eat. I have to take small bites and chew delicately because if I go too fast/hard it really hurts. If I move my lower jaw just the right way, it now kinda pops. It also hurts when I yawn. Do I see my regular doctor for this, a dentist, or what? Any advice?

You might want to have your dentist check you for TMJ. I have that, and it can cause bad jaw pain up where the upper and lower jaw meet. It can also cause headaches. Mine doesn't hurt me when I chew, though. So, it might be something different. Couldn't hurt to check, though. I wear an apparatus at night that keeps my jaw aligned correctly. It's a pain to wear, but the trade off is that I don't get the horrible headaches.

Does anyone have tomorrow off for the Holiday?

Nope. Still got to do the mom thing. Don't I ever get a day off?:confused3

Actually, it hasn't been too bad today. We took our kids to the paint store and let them each choose the color they want their room to be. Then we told them that as soon as they show us they can keep their rooms clean (say for a month), we'll paint them. They have all been busy working in their rooms. Katie even went through her closet and pulled clothes and shoes that don't fit anymore. So far, so good!

Great incentive!

Mom just left. We got the paperwork done that she wanted us to do. Becky did the laundry while I was at my Girl Scout meeting on Saturday. I am going to relax for an hour or so and catch up with the DIS. Then I'm off to work on getting my office organized!!! Work this week is going to be crazy and I really need to get that straightened up before it starts.

Your Score was: 48

According to Dr Phil:

Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

Here's me. This was pretty insightful!

I am going to call it a night as I am emotionally exhausted. Jeff, Olivia and I went to church this morning, I cried pretty much the whole time. I have been an emotional wreck, not sure why. Maybe its the clomid I took. I will let you all know if I make it out of hear tomorrow night and home. Everybody stay safe.

Clomid will definitely do that to you! Hopefully they won't have to up your dosage. The more you take, the more emotional you get!

Is that going to be it exactly? Same colors and everything?
I like the look of the cake. The flowers - not so much. And I like the white cake behind it too - but I don't want a white cake, so I think that's why this one caught my eye. I like how each layer is different, and alot of fondant doesn't have to be used. And if my cake designer can squeeze in a Mickey - then yes there'll be a Mickey somewhere! ;)

Let's do July. :-)
