:grouphug: Deb.

I can completely empathize. Alyssa has been extremely whiny lately, and with Kevin at work then play practice, city council and/or church meetings, there are many days and nights that I feel like I'm going to lose it. Sleep deprivation isn't helping either, and thank goodness the Christmas cookies are gone, because I was stress-eating big time.

I wish we could meet for a girls' night out!

:grouphug: to you too, Amy. Sounds like a girls' night out is what you both need! I am thinking Virginia could be a very centrally located meeting place... :rotfl:

Something woke me up and then the dog figured it was time to go out and be petted. Now I am headed back to bed. Good night, all.

See you in the morning! (I might be talking to myself here....)

Good Morning DDA,

Nick, your design is great, can't wait to see more.

Amy - Love the kid's pictures, it would be hard to choose my favorite.

It's off to work again this morning,

Have a great day everyone.

Debbie

Good morning :cold:

Remember me saying I could not get my vehicle up the drive? Well We were awoken this morning to 2 police cars sitting around my vehicle which had slid into the street :scared1: Dh had to do a skateboard stance & slide down the driveway :rotfl: I can laugh now beings he did not fall.

My vehicle is now parked across the street. I called work & had some guys bring some salt & a spreader over. So dh is now outside, hopefully it will melt enough.

We were hit with more ice last night & the salt trucks have not been out yet. The roads do not look to good. Everyone that has this storm coming or are getting it now, please be careful!!!!!!!!!

YIKES! I cannot imagine its traffic free either. How long does it take you. It generally takes her at least 1 1/2 hours, often over 2 to get to work.
Just about an hour in the mornings, and closer to an hour and a half in the evening. If I were driving it at 3 AM with no traffic, it would be 45 minutes.

Okay, here's a brief synopsis on what's been going on in the Hardman household since the New Year:
-We've all had the sniffles, but poor Matthew had it the worst, since he also had a double ear infection.
-Matthew has only been sleeping for 2-3 hours at a time at night for the past few weeks (teething).
-Kevin got a promotion at the prosecutor's office and a raise!
-Kevin is also the lead in the community play (Alan in Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Horn).
-Alyssa's current favorite Disney movie is Tarzan. She still names us all characters, but it changes several times a day.
-Alyssa doesn't seem to understand that some of the toys belong to Matthew.
-I am absolutely exhausted.
-Our Disney trip is less than a month away!

Again, I apologize for not being around to show my support to you all. I know I've missed a lot of joy and sorrow. Please know you're in my thoughts. :goodvibes
Congrats to Kevin!

I know it's hard to believe, but it will get easier!:grouphug:

Hope Matthew is feeling better pixiedust:

Congratulations to Kevin on the promotion :cool1:

Your trip will be here before you know it. Sounds like you need it!

I guess I'm heading to bed too. I just told Chris that I'm worn out. Colby is just pushing all of my buttons all day everyday then trying to juggle the older boys, housework, work and everything in between. Colby was extremely whiny tonight and he was supposed to stay at my parents with his brothers. By the time I got them all packed and over there, their ready bed blown up (by mouth not less) and them all settled in he decided that he wanted to come home. He has a cold and I know that he was overtired. My Mother thinks that he is just a Mama's Boy, but she sure didn't try to convence him to stay. He cried off and on about everything for about an hour of the hour and a half that I was there. I came home, did a load of laundry, cleaned the cat water fountain and sort bills. Chris gave Colby all of his attention for a good hour then told colby what a good boy he was. Well Duh, if I sat down with him playing, giving him 100% attention and ignoring everything that needed to be done I'm sure he would be good for me too. Apparently I'm the only one living in reality. Sorry to vent, but it is that or just breaking down crying. I have definitely over ate today too. I may need to skip weigh in on Tuesday if I don't get control very soon. Hopefully sleep will be my friend and I also hope that the runny nose that I am having is just a one day thing.

Deb
Oh Deb, :grouphug: You are so not alone in these feelings. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's perfectly normal for Colby to be acting like that. It's an age thing. Hopefully it will get better soon. I hope your day is better today.

With that, I'm heading to bed. It was actually a pretty good day, but then I had an argument with my mom over the phone, which was frustrating and made me pretty mad. She proceeded to spend the bulk of the conversation obsessing over the jerky behavior of my 25-year old brother (which is usually all she does), and then had the audacity to tell me that she thinks I'm obsessed with Disney and "should go see someone" when I mentioned that we were going to WDW for that quick weekend in March.

Of course, I then retorted that she was obsessed with my brother, and even if I do have a Disney obsession, at least Disney makes me happy, doesn't lie or manipulate me, and doesn't treat or make me feel like cra* on a daily basis, which didn't go off so well. :sad2: Ugh. Nothing like family to really brighten a day!

Goodnight DDA!
Did you say "I am. I'm going to see the Mouse!!!"? :lmao:

Sorry Lindsay. I understand how family arguments can make you feel. Hopefully it will pass.

And I'll second this...

I am so NOT missing this kind of weather. It was 55 degrees when I got up this morning. :wizard: that it will melt soon!

Deb lots of hugs coming your way :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Good morning everyone!

Hi Tammi :wave2: I could sure use your 55 degree temps right now to melt some ice!

As I sit here in the kitchen it is 61 degrees and the birds are singing outside, the sun is shining and the trees are ripe with buds. I bet we are going to get hit BIG TIME with a winter storm sometime in the next couple of months, but it sure is delightful right now. I wish I could pack it all up in a box and send it to you all who need it.

Hi, Janet! Hope the icing stops soon. I can just imagine the look on your face when you realized that your car had slid the rest of the way down your driveway!
