I was there years ago. You are not given silverware, so you must eat with your hands. The food was pretty good and the show was nice. I went in band in 11th grade to the one in the Chicago area, not sure if it is there anymore. Somehow we ended up in the front row, lets just say it was nice to be right in the action except when the horses decided to do their business right in front of our faces as we were trying to eat.

:rotfl2: Would that really happen to anyone but you?:rotfl2:

So I had a talk with my friend yesterday about "our" trip. She told me she's looking for a new job. She's been where we are for 10 years. Originally she thought she'd be there 1 but then she got "comfortable" there and then at about 5 years her Mom was diagnosed with Alzhiemers so she spent all her energy taking care of her Mom-she was in assisted living. And at the same time was rebuilding her own home. Then she started looking for a new job again and her Mom died. She's been busy settling her estate the past year and a half. Now she feels she's ready again. I really hope she finds something. I will miss her but she's currently driving 55 miles each way to work and its not an easy comute-awful traffic. She says she will absolutely go if she doesn't have a new job.

So I told my DH she was looking for a new job and that I wanted to go alone and he wasn't bothered by that at all. I've got the room booked and will keep my eyes out for good airfare. My friend can decide to join me at anytime. I think she may very well join me but I'm not afraid to go alone.

I wouldn't be afraid to go alone either. However, I don't think Chuck would appreciate that as he will always want to go with me. I'm so glad that he enjoys it as much as me! I never thought 4 years ago when I took him on his first trip that I would ever being going back because I didn't think he would care for it. I'm so glad that I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong!:dance3:

I hope not. He still asks way too many questions :rotfl2: I was amazed at how he played with all the options until he got the exact firework that he wanted. He changed the color, size, points, tail and i have not idea what else. He still has trouble erasing backgrounds so He asks for help with that.

Well he knows more than I do!

It needs some chocolate syrup. And a spoon!
That was my first thought!

Nicholas got a Power Rangers shirt and Alyssa got one with the princesses. She really wanted one that was only Ariel but they didn't have her size. So she settled for Ariel pajamas. For some reason she is going through an Ariel phase now.
Do you want me to look? I think they may have had Ariel in the $3.49 style.

I can certainly commiserate with her. My drive is 50 miles one way.

Well, if you go, you, me and Stephanie will have to meet up!

I'm back, for a few minutes! Some of my favorites from Wednesday's photo session:

Alyssa obviously slept too long in the van. She fell asleep on our way home and I just left her in there. She is wide awake, and she her bedtime is 9:00. I think she is going to turn into a nightowl.

Oh boy.

I'll just let it melt and then drink it!

Suit yourself.

The menu says they have vegetable soup, so apparently you have to drink that? And I thought they served turkey legs, but the menu says it is chicken. I am sure it isn't something you go to because the food is good. But it can't be worse than the food at the murder mystery thing we went to several years ago. The bill for DH & me was $90 and the food was horrible. It was pre-plated and just yuck.

Amy - there's not a bad picture in the bunch!

After our Oct 05 trip I honestly didn't think we'd ever go back as a family. I did everything I could think of to make the trip special for him and he was miserable. After the trip we found out he had that thyroid problem. Last year he had a better time (he really liked the meal plan) and on our last day I think he may have finally "gotten it". He had spent the prior day in the room with a sick Emma. On our departure day Emma was feeling better so we headed for the MK so she could do a few rides. Joe fell asleep on the bus so we soon realized that he was sick. I had him in the stroller and went to get fast passes while I had Gene take the girls on Pooh. When we met up he said to me "you should have seen Emma on that ride, she was sooo happy." I was thinking where have you been on the past 3 trips but so happy that he finally saw it. So....while I don't think he'll ever be the fanatic I am, I do still have hope that he'll one day look forward to our trips.

I was asking him this morning what air line he thought we should try for and he seemed so much more relaxed about it. It will also be interesting to see how things change when its only the 5 of us. On our previous 4 family trips we've always had at least 1 other adult with us.

The day Emma was sick he spent time (with her in the stroller) walking around POR so he's looking forward to staying there.

I said those were my favorites. ;)

Check out the one of just Alyssa. The photographer asked her to hold the duck, and Alyssa promptly dropped it at least three times. The girl finally just took the photo. That's one mischievous smile on my daughter's face and the duck is face-down. :)

Yep, you drink the soup! They try to be authentic, but yet you can still order a pepsi :rotfl: We had chicken when we went.

I think I'm going to call it a night. See you all tomorrow.

Amy - What sweet pics! Matthew looks a lot like you! Babies usually look exactly like the dad, so it is interesting to see a little one who looks like Mom!
