At first I didn't see the star on your ticker, Chris, and I was afraid that it was missing like Tammi's turtle.

It was a pumpkin!

There was one around New Year's that I didn't do because I couldn't remember how to click to put the questions into a reply. I am more computer challenged than the rest of you!

I wouldn't expect the brake light bulbs to cost much more than a dollar a piece.

Really? Around here? I think I'll need to multiply that by at least 10. But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I had a pumpkin ticker and when it changed from months to weeks, the pumpkin disappeared for awhile. Then we had a troll, with a screen name of "Crush" (the turtle from Nemo) who came on saying he kidnapped my pumpkin and wanted a ransom. It ended up being Denise.

Speaking of trolls, I almost responded to a thread on the resort board earlier about pool view at AKL. But it was his first post, and the guy was very interested in getting an unobstructed pool view. That sounded really odd to me after I thought about it. Our room in August was unobstructed pool view, but the request just came off so funny I wondered exactly what he was really after.

EDIT: I decided maybe I was being paranoid and/or petty so I posted the room # we were in. If I get any creepy PMs I will be kicking myself for not following my gut to begin with.

WHY REDNECKS CAN'T BE PARAMEDICS

A couple of rednecks are out in the woods hunting
when one of them suddenly grabs his chest and
falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be
breathing; his eyes are rolled back in his head.

The other redneck whips out his cell phone and
calls 911. He gasps to the operator, "I think
Bubba is dead! What should I do?"

The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Just
take it easy and follow my instructions. First,
let's make sure he's dead."

There is a silence..........then a shot is heard.

The redneck's voice comes back on the line, "Okay,
now what?

Bob and Kristin and I are sitting here chuckling like fools!

They switched to Little Brownie only last year and I wasn't involved at the area level so didn't get any cookies last year. I'll be getting some this year though since I will be the Cookie Sale chairperson.

Good Morning!!!!

How is everyone?

On Friday - I got the pleasure of meeting Ellen and Glynis - Lynn was unable to join us after all

Ellen's family was a lot of fun and her boys are delgihtful!! She has raised very nice young men and should be very proud of them!!!

Glynis and her DH were just as sweet in person as you would expect and it was wonderful finally meeting her!

It was a very stressful meal for me as WCC tends to wind your kids up and then we were there for THREE hours!!! I feel like I didn't get to talk much!

I can't wait to hear how the marathon went
my sister (Nancy), her DH and my dad all finished in about 3 hours! It was so inspirational and emotional to be at the finish line -

A little after they crossed the finish line we heard they ran out of medals - how heartbreaking for the people at the end - who the medals would have meant the most to!!

Disney has a lot of work to do on the marathon - we got a lot of misinformation about it!

Hi Kate, we just got back this afternoon, and I am skimming pages to try to catch up and came across this one. Thanks for the compliments, we had a fun time at dinner, but I too felt like we didn't get to talk enough. It was fun, but they took waaay too long to take orders etc. We were planning to go back to MK, and never made it in time.

I wish we could have chatted more, maybe another time? Nick and Julia did very well, and I agree that they wind up the kids, and then made us sit there way too long. The good news is we had exceptional service for all of our other Table Service Meals all week, so that was not the norm.

I'll post a couple of pictures when I get caught up. I also got a nasty cold starting yesterday, so am not feeling so great right now, might take me a couple of days to catch up.

Congratulations to your family members who did the 1/2, we really wished we could have done it, it would have been awesome to be part of it all.
