Nick, I'm glad that you are feeling happier. I've been sort of "out of sorts" lately, too, without knowing why. Everyone here always makes me feel better, too.

I love my Ford Explorer, but I HATE the fact that it does not have 4WD. Thanks to the lovely Ice, I cannot get back up the drive. So again my vehicle is sitting at the bottom, which I do not like & we are suppose to get more. All dh can say is why do you always drive the wrong vehicle? well gee I guess I just did not think about it

Ok I am done venting, I really did have a good day at work


I am sure my neighbors got a good chuckle if they were watching me trying to walk up my driveway

When Emma was learning her colors all reds were pink until it was maroon.

This is cute! When Miles was little he would mix up red and green enough that I was begining to worry about red-green colorblindness. There wasn't any problem, though.

When Laura was little, she used to mix opposites up a lot. I remember her telling me one day that she was going to jump under a puddle.

I just watched our news. They are saying it is going to be seriously icy tomorrow into Monday AM. DH is covering up our plants. I hope they aren't already frozen.

It is going to be horrible for him going into work in the morning. He is talking about going back to work after dinner tonight since it is supposed to get REALLY bad in the early hours tomorrow morning. He thinks it might be better tonight than if he waits to go at his usual time of 3-4 AM.

The Lemonades are pretty good but not low fat.

This is the first year our council is offering it and it is only availble for the Middle and High School grade troops. Who knows what we will have next year, because as of May 1, 2007 three of the local councils are merging.

I think there are 4 councils merging in our case. It could only be three. I haven't been keeping close track of it. The U.P. will be joining with the Northern Wisconsin councils.

House cleaning is much needed!!!! Tree is down but not everything put away. I know my "old" camera (its 1 1/2 years old) came home from WDW as Joe was showing DH some photos he took when he got home but I haven't seen it since Dec 17th. I'm hoping to find that.

I need to balance my checkbook and pay bills.

We're planning on going to the Baptism for my Great Niece on Sunday but we'll have to keep an eye on the weather.



I didn't know Lizzy got the form when I was in WDW. DH put it away nice and safe but didn't tell me she had it. Forms are due back 2 weeks from yesterday and cookies are to be delivered the last week in Feb.

How much are you cookies? Ours are $4/box. Some other councils are less-$3.50 or $3.75.

I think you guys did great just being chosen for the top 12! Especially since I can't draw/design a stick figure. Remember that some of those designers are PM-ing every user name on the boards to get votes - nothing is ever really unbiased around here.

Our girls sell in October in Seven Lakes. We are right on the border and Indian Hills sells around now, I think. I'm sure I'll be seeing booths soon. I think that I paid $3.50 a box in the fall.

The footage from Oklahoma is SCARY. Everything is just coated. I am much more worried about DH than I am about the plants. If the plants freeze we'll get new ones. DH is not so easily replaced!
DS is very upset about DH going out in the weather. Right now it is just trying to pick the lesser of the evils - go now or wait when it is almost certain that the conditions are going to get worse.
