I forgot to say I got my first ever "save the date" last week...we haven't been to many weddings, but a coworker is getting married the first weekend in August and they made a "save the date" card. It made me happy to be invited she didn't have to do that.

OOOOOOOOOH!!! Jimmy already thinks I'm nuts for having to double check with another family about when they are going to be there...that will certainly send me over the sanity edge according to him!!

I am thinking ahead to 08 and am getting 10 day non expiring tickets for all of us so that we can camp with you and Deb's family!!

Think I am going to call it a night. Today has been a long, interesting one.

The motorcade bringing Daniel home was very long. I am sure it brought so much joy to Robin knowing so many care. People were lined up all along the street.
The church where they were taking him to had a full parking lot of people waiting. The school he graduated from was there & the band played. It was so cold outside, but at least it was not raining or snowing. We had a nice group of vets standing with us where I work. They brought flags & handed them out to all of us. They were all standing in formation & saluting when Daniels car went by. It was very emotional, I am glad dh came to stand by my side.

Gary did get a picture of the readerboard, I will post it as soon as I get it uploaded.

Ok, Andy has an opening for a couple of months. Clare has said that now is not a good time for him to travel to England. I am sleeping at the hospital tonight. Luckily the hospital just got wireless internet service for the patients and famliy members about a month ago. So I was aboe to catch up.

It was misting and cold here today. The ground was so wet that we had to have the grave side service out side of the fence and then the pall bearers had to cary the coffin over to the grave site. The ground around the grave site was trying to cave in the ground was so wet.

I sure hope its not as bad as they think its going to get so I can make it home tomorrow night.

It felt like I was watching the Superbowl!
The Chargers are a great team, and probally should have won the game. New England got some luky breaks for sure! The Chargers were also the heavy favorite to win. Hope is still alive for my Superbowl XX rematch! By the way, what did you think of the Superbowl Shuffle?

I bet we had 35 people standing in the bar of the restaurant awwing and oohing at every play. I've never seen that for any superbow. I walked out with 2 minutes left, score tied at 21 and had to ask what teams were playing Sorry guys, I'm not a football fan.

Chris - how did Deb enjoy her day of alone time?

It was a nice quiet morning then I had to go to the pharmacy and Kohls too. I really didn't feel like shopping so it wasn't too much fun. I made the mistake this morning of taking tylenol PM instead of sudafed PE so I was so tired by the time I got home that I had to lay down for an hour before I headed off to work. Work was odd, the weather was snowy, but not bad enough for the roads to be slick. We had 3 large parties and a few small parties and of course one party that came in at 8:26 when we close at 8:30.
I ended up getting home later than I had expected. Chris gave me a nice massage when I got home as my back was bothering me a bit. Now I'm watching tv before heading to bed. Overall not too bad a day. Unfortunately I have plenty to do around the house tomorrow and the kids are off for MLK day.
