OK this is really embarrassing, but I couldn't resist posting this picture of my family from my brother's 1976 high school graduation. The headband comment reminded me of this picture... Let it be known that my brother is definitely wearing a polyester leisure suit under that gown, and my dad's leisure suit was peach colored. My niece saw this picture and asked why we all wore costumes to my brother's graduation!
By the way, I am not recommending that anyone try to look like our lovely family!

I'm not sure which is worse, but I am not the one in the headband. I was in 8th grade at the time, probably 13 years old, my DSis was the fashionable headband, bell bottomed one, at age 15.

Tammi, remember I am right off I-95 in Florence, SC. I live 70 miles from Myrtle Beach. I think my pool will still be a little cool for Spring Break, but then it was 65 here all week. I tis always sunny here!!! I have a nice little guest room!!

I think we drive thru Florence on our annual trip to MB over 4th July week, we missed last year so are looking forward to this summer.

I have one question everybody --- how come the children on the DDA are gorgeous? There isn't an ugly one in the bunch - how did that happen

Oh my gosh, things are so much worse than we thought!!!

Remember Kate vehemently denied having a manilla folder on that kid from High School Musical? Well, she was sort of telling the truth...

I paid her a surprise visit today and look what I found: a RED folder on Zac Efron!!!

Of course, she put her own t-shirt design on the cover!

And look, she even has a "things to do" list!

We all know where she found all these pictures...she's the Queen of Google!

So, I ask you my DDA friends, what do we do now? I've never staged an intervention before, but it's obvious our friend Kate needs help. This kid is half her age! Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Ok, I'm attempting to post some pictures of my kids. I've never done this before, so I'm hoping I remember the instructions correctly. Keep your fingers crossed.

Every time you say fancy dress - I thnk you mean a Formal party and then I remember you speak English

I think the jeans are a great idea

I had a 70's party when I was in college and would you believe I found a polyester jumpsuit - similar to this -

it was turquoise and a halter top -

and platform shoes are a must!!

That made me laugh, when DD was little I gave her a swimming party and put on the invites to bring your 'costume' all the american kids showed in dress up and the SA kids had 'bathing suits'

I learnt the lingo fast after that!!

Didn't we just make it to 6000 last night? You are all so chatty that I don't have time to reply to anyone! I spend all my time trying to catch up. So much for keeping my spreadsheet updated for awhile.

Depending on whether or not she has priors (and considering she kept this one such a big secret, it is possible), I think three to six years should handle it. And forget any credit for good time.
