Ok, Tammi...

At first I just thought someone missed your comment about Alyssa. But you were just being cheeky!

You mean somebody in this group has been cheeky???? Not us! :teeth:

Wow, Tammi, looking at your Alyssa and then looking at my Mary and Leslie, I can definitely see it! That's so cool!

As long as I'm posting, I thought I'd post one of me. Keep in mind that I hate having my picture taken, and also keep in mind that I'm now 60 pounds lighter. Consider this my "before" picture:

By the way, these are the shirts that Kate designed for our family group! They went over big time with all the CM's we ran across. Thanks, Kate!

Love the picture Glynis! Hey, if Kate can post a picture of her dressed as Mrs. Potts and I can post ones where I look especially terrible during my birthday trip - I'm thinking you look especially good!!! Now all we need is one AFTER the 60 pound weight loss.

WOW! I've been watching for Ding flights for Spring break (week after Easter) and there are absolutely NO seats available, at least to anywhere worth going. But of course, it is spring break. Hence, no seats.

Where do you find Ding fares??

I am now going to try and respond to about 15 pages of posts.
Glynis, your children are beautiful.
J&N's Mom - The picture of Julia in her purple outfit is just perfect.
Tom -hope you have a blast and I love the outfit. what talent. :goodvibes
Kate - :rotfl2: I loved the comment about the kids on the other board. I was thinking the same things.
Becky - loved the scum buster story.
Dumbo - I will be in Disney when you are there. we leave 2/15. I will be sporting shirts made by the generous talented people on this board.
Steffy - Thanks for your reply & good wishes. (there's something else but I can't read my handwriting & I don't know what page it was on). :confused3
Midnite -what a lovely picture of your daughter. I also think your family is beautiful. :goodvibes
Denise - As I don't know the whole story about what is going on in your life, your special education comment caught my eye. As a special ed administrator, I find this to be one of the best sites ever for parents.

I am going to the CEC (Council for Exceptional CHildren) convention in Salt Lake City in April, if you want me pick up some conference papers for you, let me know.

To anyone I missed, I apologize. Probably by the time this gets posted (all of 10 minutes) there will be another 10 pages to go through. & I still have to go through the rests of the threads on this forum. good thing lost is a rerun.

How about a headband thingy in matching fabric that you use on the jeans?

OK this is really embarrassing, but I couldn't resist posting this picture of my family from my brother's 1976 high school graduation. The headband comment reminded me of this picture... Let it be known that my brother is definitely wearing a polyester leisure suit under that gown, and my dad's leisure suit was peach colored. My niece saw this picture and asked why we all wore costumes to my brother's graduation! :rotfl: :rotfl:
By the way, I am not recommending that anyone try to look like our lovely family! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You are right, When you are pooh sized (like me) you forget that some people shy away from candy. :lmao:
I am saving all the answers & sending them onto my brother. I was surprised he let me post it (I asked first) but he said that I talk about this board so much they would probably have good advice. :cheer2:

THanks for replying. Penny

I thought of a flowerpot with some seed, that will give them time to plant and tend to them and allow them to grow, add some books, some nice imported chocs wrap in celaphane.

Another good idea. I don't like spa service (I know, I am wierd) but a lot of my friends swear by them. Thank you for replying.

I got a 'pandora' bracelet for my 40th with some charms and love it, then he could add one for each occasion or even from the kids.

That's a charming idea. :goodvibes I just sent the ideas off to him. I will have to add this one. Thank you. Penny

My nausea still comes and goes, but I definitely feel better than I did a month ago (knock on wood!). My Subway craving has passed...no other cravings have popped up yet. Sweets are completely unappealing to me. Kevin has almost single-handedly eaten a bag of M&Ms because they don't taste good to me. Weird! I do still like Captain Crunch and Coke though (not together!). That might explain my weight gain. ;)

Since I'm barely showing, I'm not really sure how to explain anything to Alyssa. I tell her she's going to be a wonderful big sister all the time. I also have been researching good children's books to buy to "prepare" her for the baby's arrival. Alyssa did get a bitty baby doll for Christmas, but she's not really "into" it yet. Thanks for sharing your story Glynis..I love happy endings! :goodvibes

Amy :)

DD was 3 when I was preggy with DS, we shared baths together and she used to wash the baby and talk to him all the time, of course they had a great bond, he also arrived with gifts for her, how they came out my tummy she could never understand. Enjoy this special time.

Lynn a charm bracelet seems like a great idea. He could add charms for each event or holiday that they are together. If the relationship works out she would have something really special and if not it isn't a huge investment. How about a Disney one. ;)

Deb

Okay I am still trying to catch up after being away for the weekend and recovering from Vegas, all my ideas seem to be posted already.

Glynis, if you are that cute in the before picture, I can't wait to see the after. You have beautiful children, and they obviously take after you.

And I agree that all the DDA children are adorable!

Sorry this is :offtopic: but it reminded reminded me of something someone said to me today. A lady came in to my store today with her Husband or boyfriend. She was probably in her mid forties. They were together a while whatever the case. She asked me which I would rather have for Valentine's Day a dozen of roses or a Black and Decker Scumbuster.

I said the roses. She said to me well you are too young, because the roses will die. So I want a Scumbuster.

No matter which answer I would give I would be wrong. :confused3 Depending on who I was talking to. I was trying not to :lmao: .

So who wants a Black and Decker Scumbuster for Valentine's Day?? :rotfl:

Becky

I would rather have nothing which is probably what I will get, If DH ever bought me housework appliances he would be sleeping with the dogs!!
