Give them a piece of my mind while you're at it -- heck, I'm not using it.

Uh, hello, it'll need to be more than that... I, uh, have triplets... can't leave out Brantley-Kate and Rees! :rotfl:
Well, BK can have Nicholas and Rees gets my Alyssa. And since you have the multiples gene....how fun it would be to be the grandmother of triplets!!!

Hi, all. Been very busy past few days. We got Rees' final denial on Friday, and we hired supposedly the *best* disability lawyer in Atlanta to fight in in court. Worked all day today, just got home from ballet, and have choir in a few minutes. Also have been on the phone with the Special Ed program for Kindergarten getting Rees enrolled. Go tomorrow am to start that process. Have tons of paperwork to do by then, and then a lot afterwards so I may not be around much.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi!
I am thinking of you Denise, and all your struggles. Good luck.

Glynis your children are beautiful.

Midnite your whole family is adorable. You baby looks a lot like you.

Amy can't wait to hear what our new DDA baby is going to be. Maybe it will be a boy so you will have one of each. But another girl will just give you a reason to have another one. :rotfl:

Glynis - you've been holding out on us - those kids are some good lookin' kids!

I have one question everybody --- how come the children on the DDA are gorgeous? There isn't an ugly one in the bunch - how did that happen :confused3

Why, thank you. I totally agree! We DDA'ers have the best lookin' kids anywhere! I'm just glad I finally figured out how to post pictures. Gee, it only took me 6 months of hanging around here. If I stay longer, y'all might have me designing, too.
:lmao:

Okay one more thing before I go cook.

I GOT MY DISNEY STUFF TODAY FROM AAA. I AM SO EXCITED. 14 DAYS TO GO!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words about the kiddos. :grouphug:

I'm back. I just spent 2 days catching up with everyone. Sounds like a lot of you need pixie dust and hugs. I'm so sorry some of you are going through the things you're going through right now. Just know that you have a place to vent and lots of shoulders to cry on here on the DIS.

I was out of town, throwing a baby shower for one of my best friends. We've known each other since junior high school and the many miles between us (AL and NJ) don't matter one bit. It should be a very happy time, but it's not. Her husband (not DH) leaves a lot to be desired -- doesn't help around their fixer-upper of a house, doesn't bring in much money, doesn't provide her with companionship, doesn't do anything for anyone other than himself -- and being up there clued me in on the fact that it's even worse than I had imagined. Although he did agree to this baby, he has said that it wouldn't change his life and that if something happened to my friend, he would not raise the child. Come on, jerk, even animals take care of their young! (Plus he hates Disney. No redeemable qualities in that guy whatsoever.)

I'm very sad that my friend will be a married "single mother" and wish I lived close enough to help. She is the sweetest person I know, but never learned how to make a decision and is now stuck living with the aftermath of her many poor choices. It's painful to witness.

Thanks for letting me vent.
That's too bad, especially for the child. Unless something changes, the problem will only magnify once the baby comes. PD that she can make it work, or get on with her life.

Ok, I'm attempting to post some pictures of my kids. I've never done this before, so I'm hoping I remember the instructions correctly. Keep your fingers crossed.

If all goes well, this is a picture of all my kids last Easter. I hope this works.
It worked! They are so cute! Your twins remind me of my daughter.

They all take after their mothers! :teeth:

Wow, Tammi, looking at your Alyssa and then looking at my Mary and Leslie, I can definitely see it! That's so cool!

As long as I'm posting, I thought I'd post one of me. Keep in mind that I hate having my picture taken, and also keep in mind that I'm now 60 pounds lighter. Consider this my "before" picture:

By the way, these are the shirts that Kate designed for our family group! They went over big time with all the CM's we ran across. Thanks, Kate!

Ok, Tammi...

At first I just thought someone missed your comment about Alyssa. But you were just being cheeky!

Hello all...

Just checking in...I haven't been around much and mostly likely won't be for a bit. My 91 year old father in law fell and is in the ICU. Very long story...but he isn't doing well. Very stressful, and Bill as the only child is having a hard time. We have been faced with some difficult decisions....we signed a DNR. I truly pray for a peaceful release for him...there's just no quality of life left for him. We are exhausted and functioning on only a few hours of sleep.

Hope all of you are doing well.

Kristine

PD :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug: for you, Bill and family.
