Give them a piece of my mind while you're at it -- heck, I'm not using it.

Well, BK can have Nicholas and Rees gets my Alyssa. And since you have the multiples gene....how fun it would be to be the grandmother of triplets!!!triplefigs said:Uh, hello, it'll need to be more than that... I, uh, have triplets... can't leave out Brantley-Kate and Rees!![]()
I am thinking of you Denise, and all your struggles. Good luck.triplefigs said:Hi, all. Been very busy past few days. We got Rees' final denial on Friday, and we hired supposedly the *best* disability lawyer in Atlanta to fight in in court. Worked all day today, just got home from ballet, and have choir in a few minutes. Also have been on the phone with the Special Ed program for Kindergarten getting Rees enrolled. Go tomorrow am to start that process. Have tons of paperwork to do by then, and then a lot afterwards so I may not be around much.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi!

I have one question everybody --- how come the children on the DDA are gorgeous? There isn't an ugly one in the bunch - how did that happen![]()

Oooh, in that case I am signing right up for it. Maybe I can become as good as you.MidNite said:Mine were done mostly with Photoshop. I would highly recommend taking it.![]()

That's too bad, especially for the child. Unless something changes, the problem will only magnify once the baby comes. PD that she can make it work, or get on with her life.ksoehrlein said:I'm back. I just spent 2 days catching up with everyone. Sounds like a lot of you need pixie dust and hugs. I'm so sorry some of you are going through the things you're going through right now. Just know that you have a place to vent and lots of shoulders to cry on here on the DIS.
I was out of town, throwing a baby shower for one of my best friends. We've known each other since junior high school and the many miles between us (AL and NJ) don't matter one bit. It should be a very happy time, but it's not. Her husband (not DH) leaves a lot to be desired -- doesn't help around their fixer-upper of a house, doesn't bring in much money, doesn't provide her with companionship, doesn't do anything for anyone other than himself -- and being up there clued me in on the fact that it's even worse than I had imagined. Although he did agree to this baby, he has said that it wouldn't change his life and that if something happened to my friend, he would not raise the child. Come on, jerk, even animals take care of their young! (Plus he hates Disney. No redeemable qualities in that guy whatsoever.)
I'm very sad that my friend will be a married "single mother" and wish I lived close enough to help. She is the sweetest person I know, but never learned how to make a decision and is now stuck living with the aftermath of her many poor choices. It's painful to witness.
Thanks for letting me vent.
It worked! They are so cute! Your twins remind me of my daughter.Glynis said:Ok, I'm attempting to post some pictures of my kids. I've never done this before, so I'm hoping I remember the instructions correctly. Keep your fingers crossed.

KristineN said:Hello all...
Just checking in...I haven't been around much and mostly likely won't be for a bit. My 91 year old father in law fell and is in the ICU. Very long story...but he isn't doing well. Very stressful, and Bill as the only child is having a hard time. We have been faced with some difficult decisions....we signed a DNR. I truly pray for a peaceful release for him...there's just no quality of life left for him. We are exhausted and functioning on only a few hours of sleep.
Hope all of you are doing well.
Kristine
and
for you, Bill and family.
