Are there any designers out here that use Photoshop? I have an opportunity to take an 8 hr class on Photoshop, through work, and wondered if it would be worth it.

I've told her that. She says she pours all her heart and soul and especially LOVE into making an outfit for our daughter, that she doesn't know if she would feel the same if she sold them to others.

Well, tell her to make one, just a little different, to sell on Ebay and watch us drive up the auction price! It would be especially fun to have the auction end around 3 a.m so we'd have to stay up half the night to outbid each other!

Believe me, our choices are few and far between around Sharonville, so I'd love to move your way, but that pesky position pays Kevin $12K a year and allows me to stay home.

I was still able to plan for a baby!! DH wanted to find out the 2nd time. I told him that he could find out if he wanted but if he let it slip I would kill him. I think if I were to have a 3rd that I would find out. I know it would be my last and then I could start getting rid of things. I'm still holding on to everything....just in case.

I did a day and a half course through work in December and it lifted the PS mist (and you can apply the tricks to PhotoImpact too if you decide to stick with that software)

I just uninstalled my PI software and have taken up with Photoshop CS2

GOODNESS you were chatty again -- 21 pages! I had to skim (but I really did every page!) because I'm frantically trying to convince myself to keep the graduation surprise trip as is, and not forego it for something else. I wish I could give more details, but I can't as Kyle still lurks around sometimes (although not often on this thread. "I just can't keep up", he claims ). So just in case..... PM me if you want to help me decide! I'd love to bounce the ideas and details off of you all!

You all were hysterical last night.... and don't forget that we have a few babies on the way, so there could even be a second DDA Bachelor/Bachelorette!

Kate -- a high school musical design, really? Oh, right... for Julia. But did you happen to print out two transfers, just in case you need to match her ever? I suppose I really have to watch it. I thought it looked cute before it came out, but never really made it a priority. I guess that will just have to change, won't it?

Glynis -- sounds like you have some great ideas for your 70's outfit.... be sure and post pictures when you come up with the final product!

Tom -- I might have missed you, but I hope your trip is FABULOUS! (Can't remember if today or tomorrow is your day ). The outfit your wife made is absolutely adorable!

Midnite -- what a gorgeous picture of your daughter.... I can never get over your talent!


Like I said... PM me if you want to help me figure this darn trip out. Most likely, I just need to bounce a few things around and I'll end up right where I've been from the start. For once, though, this "other option" might be a decent idea. I'm SO stinkin' indecisive.

Unfortunately for Steve's heart - that happens with Julia a lot!! Her teen years are going to be living hell for him!!!

Although she is ADAMANT she is NEVER getting married!!

She did tell me yesterday she decided to be a doctor when she grows up - I asked what kind and she says a stay at home one like Uncle Jim (that is Nancy's DH) who Julia has never actually seen at work - I guess she thinks he is just around to check her out and answer our families medical questions!!

My best friend's son says he's never getting married too. He is going to be an Army Man and Army Men DON'T get married.

I wish I was done! I do have all of the matching shirts for the family done. But my wife wanted a couple of more for just in case. She is also burning the midnight oil making a couple of special outfits for her. She made the outfit that dd is wearing in my signature.
She has plans to do a Mickey/Minnie outfit, and a Princess dress for her.
She works best under pressure, so I know they will get done!

I'd love to see the outfits your wife makes! I am considering making Terra some Disney overalls like I've seen some pics on the DIS before. I'll probably also maje our MNSSHP costumes if we ever figure out what they will be.

As my daughter was eating lunch today, I asked her what she was going to eat at Disney World. She responded by saying "cake". I asked her why cake? She said, "Because it is going to be my Birthday!"
O.K., I know I read this on the DisBoards before, but frankly don't have the time to research it right now. I completely forgot to order a cake for her. Is this really necessary? Is it too late for me now? Man, I thought I was better than this. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Did she take an existing pattern and embilish it with the MM design, or is completely an original?
