Ok...now you've made me feel old. :hippie: I was in my senior year of college when it happened.

Beth

Well, I had just graduated from college, and had my first DS in December of '85 (actually I had DS 2 weeks before I graduated!!) I remember I was sitting on the couch feeding DS when I saw the explosion on TV. But anyway, I must be older than you.... DS just turned 20 in December.

that's a shame - DH and I always thought they should have made the door scene a ride - where it was like you were hanging on one of the doors as you looped through the scene!!! They could have made it a little faster yet child friendly!!!

When we watched the movie for the first time at the theater, my friend leaned over and whispered, "Now there's a great Disney ride," to me during the door scene.

how come we all have the idea and Disney didn't?!?!!?

I think that I'm actually caught up...for a moment or two anyway!

Welcome home, Marti and Skunka!

Happy belated birthday, Ellen.

Since I'm in the middle of my own posting party, I have a question about PhotoImpact. Does it come with a lot of borders, effects, etc. or are you all using clip art from other locations for that? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0, and it doesn't seem to have much (or I'm missing something really big...which is likely).

Beth

photoimpact has a lot of border options!!! and special effects - I use a pretty good combo of both - but I would say most people use the borders in photoimpact

Well, I hate to interrupt the banter you and your sister are currently having, but I thought I'd answer your question. :teeth: Yesterday, I was referring to Montgomery Inn. I ate a whole slab of ribs yesterday! YUM!

I'm still fitting in my jeans, but it seems as soon as I eat breakfast, I look pretty bloated, so I have a feeling I better wash my new maternity clothes.

And Nancy, I don't care about your "record" for driving women into labor. I'd still love to meet you. :goodvibes

Amy :)

Ohhh how I LOVE MONTGOMERY INN!!!!!!!!! My grandma lived in Cincy when I was younger and when I was a working gal, business took me there a lot and I always went for those ribs!!!!!

PS: I still hate you for not being in the preg-o clothes yet!! ;)

And to make ya all feel older, when the Challenger went I was in 6th grade and the Bears had just won the Superbowl!

Does anyone else hate Tia Carrera for looking so great when she just had a baby a couple of weeks ago?
if it makes you feel any better her baby is actually 4 months old!!

I can't be mad - being pregnant with Julia was the best diet I ever went on - I weighed 25 pounds 2 weeks after I delievered than the day I got pregnant and 35 pounds less than the day before I delivered -

I was wearing my jeans a week later!! I have learned I have no room to complain when women look good after having a baby!!!

OK, then I hate you too! ;)
I put on 62 with Kyle but lost 70 within 5 months- but worked my tail off to do it!! I did Atkins and religiously did The Firm workout.

Blah, blah, blah. ;)

I was a size 8 when I got pregnant with Alyssa and I was a size 14 six months after she was born. I had to Jazzercise my butt off to get back to a size 8 and then I got pregnant again!!! :teeth:
