Hi everyone!

Ok after all that drama about taking my kids out of school in Oct to go back to Disney I have decided to take them in August & just avoid the wrath of my kids school. My DH have been talking about it for a week or more now & it just seems like the best thing to do.

I am very excited because tomorrow I am booking our trip to my dream resort, the Beach Club with AAA!!!!! DH actually brought it up (I was going to book POR again to save $.)

So we are going August 20-August 30 & getting the dining plan. Going to take it easy this trip & enjoy the resort (we always go commando).

Yippee!!!!

EVERYONE PLEASE READ!!!​

I am not even sure how to say this without sounding like a brat but I need to ask you all a favor:

recently I have seen some of my designs in other people's design gallery or posted in a thread without credit given to me - I see that it has happened to other designers as well.

I hate to sound petty - and I certainly want everyone to feel free to use the designs and to modify as desired but I spend A LOT of time working on new designs and it gets very frustrating to see it in someone else's design gallery as their own design

I have had people ask me to modify designs of people who are not available to design and have done that but I try not to post those in my public design gallery - if I do -I have added a disclaimer on the design

so I just want to ask everyone that when you borrow a design that you give proper credit to the original designer

I hope this wasn't me. I tried to thank you even on our family design because the WDW is based on your name design. I do have my families names posted in my gallery so that my daughter could get to them at college. I will add a note that you designed them in my photo gallery.

Please, if you see ME do this, it was not intentional. Feel free to send me a PM. I will not feel you are being bratty or petty or anything else. You work hard and deserve credit for all that you do. I will go back and check the posts I made and make sure they have a thanks to you for the idea. I know that the family one has it on there because I felt others should know it was based on your name design. Is there anything more that I should do?

So for everyone else to know: Kate's name design was the base for my WDW family design and the spin-off Tink design for my daughter. I added some of my own touches that were inspired by Lady Lucca's (I think it was hers) Snow White designs.

Thanks for all you do for the DDA's to continue Kate. You are my inspiration.

We received so many compliments on your shirt designs last trip that I was constantly giving out the DIS website info for the DDA designs to all who asked "where did you buy that shirt?"

Here are a couple of the shirts that I made.

The Name shirt that Leighanna is wearing is the first one that I did (thanks Kate, all the shirts came out great). I scorched it a little (I made another one and it came out fine), but she hasn't wanted to take it off since. She slept in it last night, and wouldn't let me take it off of her today.
The born to shop one is one that I created myself with some clipart that I found. Leighanna really loves to shop and I thought it was fitting for her. Now my DW wants one too.

i am back from my cruise--it was amazing...i am actually doing pictures right now so hopefully will post them soon-but i came back to SNOW!!!

i know there is no way that i will b e able to catch up, so im not even going to try--did i miss anything big?

I've been helping my 4th grader complete his project on wolves. He decided to make a wolf habitat diorama, brochure and t-shirt to accompany his oral report. He has great ideas, but it ended up being a lot of homework for both of us. Here is the t-shirt design, though I think he wants it to only say Wolves now

Here is the diorama. Paper mache, paint and a lot of trees that we made out of garland. We also put a stream in there, but it's hard to see. The moon actually lights up.

Well, Tia, since you asked....

Your sentence should read, "We had a bed in the back of our van so we, kids, would fall asleep back there during the second movie."

It's really easy to figure out when to use "we" or "us." Just take out the "kids" and listen to how it sounds.

Oh, and grammar is spelled with an "ar" not an "er."

I'll stop now, but you asked!!!

Thanks, Amy! I did ask. I had a feeling that I was wrong though I should have gotten grammar correct. I live with the local grammar police so I shoud speak more correctly, but still have my issues.

Here's Rebecca's tote bag for knitting. She wanted a design on each side. Ironing was easier than I thought. One of the sides is a little scratchy (is that what happens if you scorch it)?

The Rebecca side is the name design by Julia & Nick's Mom. The Tink design is inspired by Julia & Nick's Mom and Lady Lucca designs.

Kate, Sorry to hear about your designs! I for one appreciate my t-shirts and since you design EVERYTHING, I have ever done from t-shrts to invitations and have no website to take credit.

I will admit to one and all I have taken credit on occasion for a particularly cute invitation to one of my kids parties! But usually I fess up and credit the Queen!

Hey there is a thought, sign all your designs "the Queen" Just Kiddin! But seriously maybe you should sign them!
