The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 2

OK this is really embarrassing, but I couldn't resist posting this picture of my family from my brother's 1976 high school graduation. The headband comment reminded me of this picture... Let it be known that my brother is definitely wearing a polyester leisure suit under that gown, and my dad's leisure suit was peach colored. My niece saw this picture and asked why we all wore costumes to my brother's graduation!
By the way, I am not recommending that anyone try to look like our lovely family!

Remember Kate vehemently denied having a manilla folder on that kid from High School Musical? Well, she was sort of telling the truth...

I paid her a surprise visit today and look what I found: a RED folder on Zac Efron!!!

Of course, she put her own t-shirt design on the cover!

And look, she even has a "things to do" list!

We all know where she found all these pictures...she's the Queen of Google!

So, I ask you my DDA friends, what do we do now? I've never staged an intervention before, but it's obvious our friend Kate needs help. This kid is half her age! Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Depending on whether or not she has priors (and considering she kept this one such a big secret, it is possible), I think three to six years should handle it. And forget any credit for good time.

WOW!!! 3-6 years with no Disney interaction.....no DIS.....no DDA.....NO NEW DESIGNS......now that I am not liking!!!! We need to get her a good attorney if Kevin is sending her away for that long. We have to have our DDA fix.

I know Tinker1bell and Steffy and maybe a few others will get a kick out of these. I have lived in Pennsylvania plenty long enough to know most of these.

You know you're a true Pennsylvanian if... (and for you out-of-staters don't laugh, most of this is TRUE!!)
You refer to Pennsylvania as "PA" (pronounced Pee-Ay)
You can say the phrase "fire hall wedding reception" and not even bat an eye.
You know what a "State Store" is, and your out-of-state friends find
it incredulous that you can't purchase liquor at the mini-mart.
You live within two miles of a plant that makes potato chips, corn
chips, pretzels, candy, or ice cream, or that packages turkey, beans or
bologna. Doesn't everyone???
Words like "hoagie", "sticky buns", "shoo-fly pie", "pierogies"and
"pocketbook"(pronounced 'pock-a-book')
actually means something to you.
You can eat cold pizza (even for breakfast) and know others who do the
same.
You not only have heard of Birch Beer, but you know it comes in multiple
colors: Red, White, Brown, and Gold
You know several places to purchase or that serve Scrapple,Lebanon Bologna,
and Hot Bacon Dressing.
You can give directions to "Intercourse, PA" with a straight face. And this is strange? Why??
You can eat a cold soft pretzel with deli mustard smeared on it from a
street vendor without fear and enjoy it.
Your turkey has "filling," not "stuffing," and most certainly, NOT
"dressing." Boo dressing!
You know the difference between a cheese steak and a pizza steak sandwich,
and know that you can't get a really good one outside PA.
You live for summer, when street and county fairs signal the beginning of
funnel cake season.
You know that Blue Ball, Climax, Bird-in-Hand, Beaver Moon,
Virginville, Paradise, Mars, Intercourse, and Slippery Rock are towns. And I have driven through every one of them...
You know what a township, borough, and commonwealth is.
You've never referred to Philadelphia as anything but "Philly." That's it's proper name..
And New Jersey has always been "Jersey," and the Ocean City as "the shore."
At least 5 people on your block have electric "candles" in all or most of
their windows all year long. I sure do....
You know several people who have hit deer more than once.
You know who "Punxsutawney Phil" is, and what it means if he sees his
shadow. Tomorrow, tomorrow... we'll find out tomorrow...
You know what a "Mummer" is, and are disappointed if you can't catch at
least highlights of the parade.
You carry jumper cables in your car, and your female passengers know how to
use them.
You have an uncontrollable urge to buy bread and milk when you hear the
word "snow."
You have more miles on your snow blower than your car. Not this year, because I just bought it.....
You still keep kitty litter, starting fluid, de-icer, or a snowbrush in
your trunk, even if you live in the south.
Driving is always better in winter because the potholes are filled with
snow.
You think sexy lingerie is tube socks and a flannel nightie. What else???
You think a typical vacation is two weeks on the front stoop. Here is the one place I have to depart from my roots!
School closings due to snow take the radio stations a half an hour to
finish, because just about every town has its own school district.
As a kid you built snow forts and leaf piles that were taller than you
were.
"Youse guys" is a perfectly acceptable reference to a group of men & women. How else should I address youse guys???
You know how to respond to the question "Djeetyet?" (Did you eat yet?)
You can say the correct pronunciation of LANK-is-ter instead of the
mispronounced Laan-CAST-er,
and LEB-en-in instead of the equally incorrect Leb-a-NON.
You know how to pronounce Bryn Mawr, Bryn Athyn, Wilkes-Barre,Schuylkill,
Bala Cynwyd, Conshohocken, and Monongahela.
You prefer Hershey's Chocolate to Godiva.
You call Sloppy Joes "Barbecue."
You think Medium Rare equals Well Done.
You can stop along the road to buy fruits, vegetables, or crafts on the
"honor system."
You buy your beer and soda only by the case.
You say things like, "Outen the lights," "I'm calling off today," and
"They're calling for snow."
You think the roads in any other state are smooth.
You consider Pittsburgh to be "out west," and you know the fastest way to
Philly is the Turnpike.
You know that Yuengling is pronounced "Ying-ling," and believe that it
really is a premium beer (which
comes from growing up on Schlitz and IronCity).
You have the Rolling Rock bottle memorized: "From the glass lined tanks of
Old Latrobe, we tender this premium beer for your enjoyment."
You refer to something as "a whole nother," as in " That's a whole nother
issue."
The local paper covers National and International headlines on 1/4 page but
requires six pages for sports.
You know the four seasons: Winter, Still Winter, Almost Winter, and
Construction.
Your municipality buys a Zamboni before a school bus.

Well, my DW just finished this outfit for DD to wear to CRT Breakfast. With this and the tshirts and countless other outfits, we could be stranded for a month, and DD wouldn't wear the same thing twice .

It is hard to pack for Florida in Feb. So, she packed a little bit of everything.

I have no idea what your wife does for a living, but if it is not seamstress she is in the wrong business. Those outfits are beautiful.

Here is the saddest thing - I am thinking Kevin had to help you do this!! Has he no shame?

and don't worry everyone - my DH is an attorney and he assures me that evidence planting by the prosecutor and his wife is a pretty serious offense - except Zac is 18 and therefore - IF I had actually made a folder on him - I would have done NOTHING illegal!!!

And now the saddest thing of it all - Amy is now the one with the Zac Efron folder!!!

What is in the water in Ohio???

Our TA noted that it was Leighanna's birthday on the reservation, so maybe we will be dusted with Pixie Dust.

I wouldn't count on it - We had wedding/honeymoon noted on our AKL reservation... nothing... the whole ten days... even when I came and went on two seperate days in my full on wedding dress no one said a word! We got far more attention in the parks from our wedding ears and buttons.

Just tell everyone that it's her birthday - on check in - at restaurants - at the park gates - to the CMs with characters... then you should get some PD - and why wouldn't she? She's ADORABLE

That made me laugh, when DD was little I gave her a swimming party and put on the invites to bring your 'costume' all the american kids showed in dress up and the SA kids had 'bathing suits'

I learnt the lingo fast after that!!
