The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 18

As soon as I read about the DIS being down I told Chris that I would just have to burn up some of my free long distance cell phone minutes. I can call anyone for free between 9 PM (eastern time) on Friday and 7 AM on Monday They can't stop me We have email address too so we don't have to be completely isolated do we?

Wow! Katrina was talkative tonight. She couldn't stop. She went to lay down in her bed at least 4 times and then would come back out with something else. I was going to go to bed over 1/2 an hour ago but wanted to stay up in case she came out again.

We are supposed to have an ice storm tomorrow. Bummer. I sure hope we can still get our Christmas tree. It would be awful if we couldn't. We'll have to wait & see. It was below freezing earlier and has now started to rain. I'm so glad Katrina is home safe & sound and I don't have to worry about her getting here tomorrow. We are concerned about her boyfriend because he is supposed to drive home to Chicago tomorrow. That won't be easy if the weather is as predicted. Please send some pixiedust this way for Pete to make it home safe & sound.

He had to work late today so he couldn't get started any earlier. It is a 7 hour trip or something. He needed to work so he had money to get home.

Just a heads up everyone. The boards will be down as of 5pm Friday.

Over the holiday weekend we will be upgrading the boards to the latest version of the VBulletin software. This upgrade will involve major downtime for the boards. I will be bringing them down around 5pm on Friday and it will take 24 to 48 hours to upgrade them.
The new VBulletin has a host of exciting new features, this should really make the boards a better place for all of us.

We are checked into the Hampton Inn in Darien, GA. We will leave here early tomorrow morning. Kathrin asked what timethey should set their alarm for and when I graciously said, "7:00," Kristin went cross-eyed. 7:00 a.m. is a good time for her to go to bed, not get up! LOL She can sleep in the car. We are about 4 hours from WDW and ought to be there in time for lunch!

Robyn - tell Molly I will say hi to Mickey for her.

Somebody call me please!!!! I have had a whopping two phone calls today and one was a wrong number.

I will go in to work tomorrow and do bulletins and some of my wonderful volunteers will come in on Saturday and help me and the rest of my family to stuff them.

Next week I have Monday and Tuesday off....so I am going to be pulling my hair out trying to do all the week's stuff on Wednesday and Thursday.....blech!!

I almost forgot my most important news of the day. Our insurance company has approved our request for a special needs stroller for Hunter. The cost of the stroller is over $1500 and it will be completely covered between our 2 insurances Now I can stop worrying about stroller issues for our next trips. It is a huge load off my mind.
