The bizarre thing is this has been since I lost weight, pretty much I didn't have a problem before but since I lost weight now I am carded.babytrees said:You've got a couple of years...just this year they stopped carding me on a regular basis. I had 2 people in the last couple of days tell me I look like Cassidy's sister...and I look 24...I personally think they need glasses....can't they see the gray hair I have!!
That sounds scrumptious...I have a new drink to try.

I have not been posting much but have been reading right along.

I did all of my shopping on Saturday. Bought everyone gift cards and a few little things. Even found a tree at target for only $12![]()
I was getting into the Christmas mood but it seems my youngest son has decided to be really dumb with his money and work. For crying out loud he is 27 and I am ready to ask him to leave. We let him come back home but he is past the leaving time.
Going to WDW was the best time I ever had. I am still working on getting my pictures ready and post my trip report. I am having problems with my arm and being on the computer a lot really gets it to hurting a lot. Not sure what the problem is but I think it is something like tennis elbow. I am trying to get a doctor appt before Christmas and our trip down to WV.
It was very emotional going to the Goofy Statue and leaving a rose for June. I was really moved by the tile.
I must share this picture with you. I was holding the rose and it looks like Tink is also holding the rose.

My sister had to put her dog Rusty down today. He was going into Kidney failure and was having heart problems. So that was very emotional for me too. Here he is with Thomas when I visited her after the DC trip. Stephanie absoutely loved him. He was the only dog besides her Grandpug that not affect her allergies.

Then when I came home today, I opened the card from Vicki. I could not even talk when I was trying to explain the tears to my DH.
Vicki I am so touched by the card and bookmarks. I will treasure that forever.
I have enjoyed all of the cards and ecards. Thank you all so very much.
One last thing. Here is the picture of Chucky and I sitting IN the cockpit of the plane.

Tammi67 said:I swore I wasn't going to do it. I promised myself that it didn't matter, as long as the kids had a fun Christmas. But the blues are starting to get to me and I am trying my best not to let them. I so wish I had someone to share this holiday season with and to make a family with for my kids. There. I said it. I've cried a few tears. Now I need to toughen up and get over it.

That sounds like a wonderful gift!! How long does it chance from each picture?
Elizabeth,
Daniel used that word for about 2 months (maybe 2 years ago) & everyone said to ignore it & he just stopped..Sounds embarrassing in a store but alot of us moms have been there...by the way he learned it from one of his friends on the block, not me!!![]()

Tom,
Thanks for the card!!!!!!! What a lovely family picture!
I truly don't know if it is a Federal law or state law, but here in our school district every child who requires any kind of extra assistance, be it for speech, reading, learning disabilities, gifted instruction... must have an IEP written up and it must be signed by the parent as well as the person who writes the IEP (often the guidance counselor or instructor in the field needed). You need to check into that!ReAnSt said:I know many people who have an IEP where some parts are for gifted help and other parts are for learning disabilities. It happens very often.
Very nice picture, Terry. The way the sky looks makes it very dramatic. Tinkerbell is in the perfect position, too.tinker1bell said:

I can't even tell you all how much I miss hanging around here
I have been up until 4 in the morning for the past 5 nights working on WPASADI - and I am so tired - I just miss you all - I have not been able to keep and see what is going on with all of you
or even to tell all of you how much I enjoy your Christmas cards - although Steve wants you all to put your DIS names on them so he knows who you are!! I am so glad that he doesn't find it odd that my internet friends are sending me Christmas cards!!!!
If I have missed anything major - please let me know
no challenge this week so hopefully I will get to keep up this week -
