Thanks, Tammi. That picture is our Christmas card this year. I didn't get to send out all of the ones I ordered, so I decided to post it.

I should let Chris give you the recipe, it is one recipe that he knows

Separate an oreo cookie keeping the side with the cream. We used cherry chocolates for the body, but you can dip stemmed cherries into chocolate to make the body. We melted chocolate chips in the microwave and used the melted chocolate to fuse a Hershey's Kiss to the Cherry Chocolate. We used pumpkin seeds for the ears, but sliced almonds could have been used instead. We also fused mini cherry chips to the kiss for eyes. We used licorice whips for the tails and those were attached with the melted chocolate too. A little more melted chocolate to attach the mouse to the oreo. Then a little green frosting and a few more cherry chips for decoration and they are done. Very easy and fun for the whole family. It took us about an hour to make 40.

I slept through the night last night!!

I woke up early and was able to snuggle with both Cassidy and Abi before getting ready for work....that's a treat that doesn't happen much anymore.

Thanks for the e card Elin. Colby and Logan love it. They've already watched it twice. I also received cards from Elizabeth, Kristine, Terry and Ann Marie. I love this time of year. Now if only the bills would stop coming

For whatever reason (maybe the 70 degree temps) Alyssa asked if she could put on her bathing suit and pretend that she was going swimming. I said sure go ahead. Then I got to thinking......so now she is "swimming" in the garden tub in my bathroom, along with her barbie dolls and some other toys.

Thank you all for the Christmas cards that I have received so far. It really means alot to us all!

Vicki, I received your card today too! All I can say is, that it really touched me! Thank you for doing this!

It is so nice to have such a great group of people to be associatied with. My wife finally "gets" it. She is also blown away by all the kindness that this group has shown. I think I am rubbing off on her, she actually ordered Disney checks this time around, without even telling me. What a nice surprise when I opened the boxes to see my favorite characters staring right back at me.

Well, I called my new boss to ask him if I really needed to drive to Lansing. He has told me to stay home. I'll be sorry to miss the Christmas luncheon as that is always fun. We do a Yankee swap with nice stuff. I'll call in for the meeting in the morning. I'm taking today off so that I can just laze around and hopefully finally kick this thing! Though, just lazing around this week-end didn't get rid of it. However, my sore throat is gone and I'm not quite as congested.

I want to say "thank you" to all the DDA family who have been sending cards our way. They are delightful and I have enjoyed getting to know you each in a slightly different way. See, you can be whoever you want to be on here in some ways, but when you send out a card from your family, I really see who you are. I love you all!

Hunter just brought in the mail. We have cards from Vicki, Ellen, Bernadette, Tom, Glynis and Tammi. You guys are the best I have to admit that I never sent many cards out until this year. We now have a wall that is covered in this years cards. It's a newly decorated area for us

When I first read your post I thought you were referring to the forecast here, and thought they changed it from the 50s to the 70s! No such luck!
