Delinda - :wizard: I hope all goes well for you in court!

Tom - I love the idea of a spa package! Just make sure when you choose a spa that they have products that are hypo-allergenic and you should be all set!

We are still tree-less. DH said he was going to get the tree down today, but that didn't happen. Now he is going to bed.

I am still up to my eyeballs in laundry. Fun, fun, fun.

My pics from Photo Pass arrived today! Not sure what I will do with all of them. I did put one in a frame on the entertainment center, and I want to go get a frame I saw at the Disney Store to put another one in. :)

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Katie!!! She is standing here smiling & giggling & wanted me to say "thanks"!!

Great choices. I love the handbag. Where did you get the jewelry box?

We went over to the mall around noon (hard for me to get moving any earlier). Getting into and out of the mall was crazy, as was finding a parking place, but once inside it wasn't bad at all. Of course we only went to Mastercuts for the kids to get haircuts and JC Penney men's. I'm done with my shopping and wrapping, except I need to go to Starbucks and buy a gift pack for an exchange that we are having at work. And like a dummy I volunteered to take up the collection for our boss and our secretary to get them gift cards. Now I have to decide from where to get the gift cards.
I was at the mall from 8:30 till 10:30 and it was crazy even then! And Central Park was a zoo. Took me over an hour in Total Wine to pick out and taste and purchase 8 bottles of wine. Usually I can be in and out of there in about 15-20 minutes. It was packed there too.

The jewelry box came from Penneys, actually. I had seen one in their catalog that I thought Bob would like well enough to buy for Kathrin, and he did. So I went there first. Most of their boxes were 25% off but this particular one was 50% off as one of their Doorbuster specials, so I got it instead. It had been $70 and I only paid $34.99 for it. I did see it online for $40 so that may still be available at the lower price. The ones that had been $135 were still going to be over $90 and that was a bit rich for my blood. They had some gorgeous ones at Macy's too, but overall, much more expensive and only 25% off. I was glad I got what I did.

I hate having to buy gifts for people in a group like you have to. Have you decided where to get the gift cards?

Tammi - Does your mall have gift certificates that are good at any store? Our Galleria and the mall closest to our house both sell "gold" coins in different denominations that you can spend at any store in the mall. OR you can do American Express gift cheques if you feel like going to the bank. We did that as a teacher gift one year when DS still went to private school.

Well I spent the afternoon "shopping" for my wife and got so confused that I got nothing! Leighanna kept acting up, the lines at the checkout were long, add that to the confusion, I just gave up! :guilty:

What do you ladies enjoy getting from your husbands at Christmastime? I am at a loss for ideas, and I don't just want to get her some of the prepackaged "junk" that I see out on the shelves. She has a pretty severe skin allergy problem, so lotions, perfumes, soaps, and makeup all have to be hypoallergenic.

If any of you have any ideas, I might venture out again and give it another try. Thanks!

This probably isn't going to help much, but the favorite gift my husband gave me was a Kitchen Fairy. Now I really like the Kitchen Fairy but what made it more special is that we had gone shopping for our daughter and I saw them, and looked at them several times. I never said anything about them, but he was watching the fact that I kept going back and looking at them. He later went back and got it for me, what made it special is that he paid that much attention, went back and got it, and did it all on his own. He actually put a lot of thought into it and it made it special for me. So if you could come up with something that takes her back to a special moment in your life together, I think she would love it.

I have the wedding part of the trip report up. Here is a link to my trip report thread. I still have several days left on my report but at least I've posted the info on the wedding including the vows! :rotfl:

What is a kitchen fairy?

 everyone.

We all had a wonderful time, except for the flight home. Had a 12 hour delay, do to of all things fog. Plus I came home with bronchitis. :(

I would like to thank of all you who sent post cards, and glad to hear the wedding was a success. :)

I would also like to thank the McCormack's, the Brook's and Bernadette for the Christmas cards.

Kelli, nice family picture. :)

Bernadette, thank you for the picture of your children. :)

Well, crum! Is anybody that is leaving for WDW before the end of 2006 an AP holder? I was just on the Disney site and I realized the AP pin I bought is not the same one on the AP site! The one I have is a 35th Anniversary of WDW style, and the one on the site is just an '06 Passholder pin. I suppose I can always ask if they have any left when we go in February. I should have paid closer attention. If anyone runs across one please let me know! I am happy to reimburse you for it! :)

Sounds like a really good plan! My maintenance is going really well. I'm fluctuating between 124 and 128 pounds. I'm ok with that. I'm really taking my time this holiday season, and trying to make good choices. If something looks really good, I let myself have a taste and then quit. So far it's working. Luckily, most of my neighbors understand what I've been doing and are being very supportive, by setting out veggie trays and deli meat trays. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the season!

That is great. You are right in the range that I hope to make it to. Right now I'm seeing 135 on our home scales, but it reads 142 fully dressed at weight watchers. My goal for Weight Watchers is 130 which will put me in your range on our home scales. It is tough making the right choices this time of year, but it sounds like you have it all under control. I'm proud of you.

Heidi's home! :yay: Welcome back! That flight delay sounds ugly! Bronchitis doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs, either! Get well soon!

Vicki - Love the wedding report! :thumbsup2

No. I was thinking of just getting them GC for malls so then they could use them anywhere. My boss likes Fair Oaks and our secretary lives in Alex, so I figured Landmark. But I don't want to have to drive all over creation getting them. If I can do it during work that won't be so bad.....;) :rolleyes1

Brain sharing today Elizabeth.

Deb & Glynis - You all are doing great! :) I have totally fallen off the weight loss wagon. Need to drag my happy butt back up there. I swear, that eating in the morning thing is going to be the end of me. I just can not seem to make that work. Coffee in the morning, yes, without fail. Food in the morning I just can't manage. And I haven't been drinking my water since we got back from Disney. I need to get into that habit. Luckily my bathroom scale is buried under so much laundry I can't possibly stand on it.

Ok, I have to ask. What on earth is a Kitchen Fairy???? :confused3
