I know, I have been at the Dr. more this year than in a long while. I was actually starting to wonder if the pain was due to the weight loss and the fact that my body was shrinking and that was just causing the pain because around the time the pain was worst was when my size changed the most. Once again I have pain and I am noticing everything is really big on me. I really don't know what to think.

The thing that boggles my mind is everything I have read about reflux says that it is supposed to improve with weight loss. Mine seemed to develop with the weight loss. :confused3

:wizard: :wizard: that your pain goes away.

I read a lot of stuff today that associated kidney stones and gall bladder issues with weight loss though this was personal findings not from a medical survey.

I'm heading to bed too. Talk with you all after bowling tomorrow.

Deb

Night to all going to bed!!

I don't have the bananas.....going to have to hope the store has some brown ones in the morning.

And you big goof!! Now we are going to have to do those hot chocolate treats because you gave me the idea!! :teeth:
Sorry, they were really easy your girls can make them. Put the decorating bags in a jar or something to keep them upright, the bag makes its own funnel. I think I used 3/4 cup of cocoa mix, a little less than 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips, and 1/3 cup of mini marshmallows. They also had them at Target for $4, that is . They didn't even cost a dollar to make.

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!

Im going to DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend just called back and her dad looked around at the specials more and we are booked on a flight going to disney May 17!! I graduate college on the 11 and she graduates t he 13!! im soooo excited!

Awesome, congrats on the new trip.

As for you internship, I know you will be fine. It will be great exposure to kids with various issues with the education system. The first grade class my intership was with had kids who were at a beginning or below start of kindergarten level many of them were on lists to be tested for learning disabilities to some who were on a fourth grade reading level. The teacher was amazing she had actually won a Walt Disney teacher of the year award in the past, it was proudly displayed in her room.

Due to the varying levels lots of things were individualized to each student, which was lots of work but helped the kids out in so many ways. For example each student had their own vocabulary sight list each week or spelling list depending on their ability. They were given one on one spelling or sight word tests, if the child missed the word that week it was on their list the following week or until they mastered it. They were given pretests off the lists of words the state recommends and their original lists were based off of that and the following weeks lists were off of what they knew. It was alot of extra work but it truly helped the students out.

We have no plans for once. I have scheduled the whole weekend off as I wasn't sure how I'd be feeling. We plan to take the kids bowling in the morning then just get basic household stuff done around here. It has been nice having time to just chill without feeling pressured to get this or that done. I'm sure the weekend off will be heavenly. We have a bunch of parties next weekend so we want to get most everything done this weekend.
I need to make something for the kids parties on Thursday. I need to bring fruit to Hunter's party. Nick wants me to make cupcakes using diet lime pepsi for his (easy request :thumbsup2 ) Colby's party is a potluck lunch. I'll probably make mini sandwiches or something that Chris and I can eat without being bad.

I've decided to make a diet friendly turkey stew for any pot luck parties that we have over the holidays and I'll make a dessert that we can eat too. Even if I don't completely stick to my diet I will at least have options available if I bring them myself. I've worked way too hard to screw up now. How is your maintanence going? This is such a tough time of year.

Deb

Sounds like a really good plan! My maintenance is going really well. I'm fluctuating between 124 and 128 pounds. I'm ok with that. I'm really taking my time this holiday season, and trying to make good choices. If something looks really good, I let myself have a taste and then quit. So far it's working. Luckily, most of my neighbors understand what I've been doing and are being very supportive, by setting out veggie trays and deli meat trays. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the season!

I saw that Charlotte's Web is playing downtown, so we might go see that tomorrow.
I need to get the house picked up and laundry done. DW is working tomorrow so Leighanna and I are going to try to get this done.
I also have to shop for my wife yet. Everyone else is bought for and partially wrapped, but I just have trouble finding things for my wife! I also will be taking Leighanna with me, I just hope she doesn't tell her what I end up getting!
I have been told at work that we might have to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I sure hope not. We are working overtime now, so hopefully we will stay enough ahead to at least have one of those days off. I work the night shift, so Christmas Eve would be my preferance for my night off. I hope that is how it will pan out. I won't mind too much working on Christmas night since most of the presents and dinner will be over with by then.

Good luck shopping for your wife. I have a hard time with Alan, too. He just never lets me know what he wants. Very frustrating!

I understand your frustration with working on the holidays. Alan has to work Christmas day this year. Luckily, he's working a 2-11 shift, so he won't have to go in until all the presents are opened, and we've had brunch. It's kind of a bummer, but in the news business, things happen every day!

We already decided to do dipped pretzels and the Marshmallow Smores and I have 15 other things I want to do from it!! :rotfl: I think I may have to narrow it down. :confused3

Actually we are doing my fudge recipe that I put on the thread...and Abi begged for banana bread and choc. chip cookies. Nothing to hard or to time consuming!!

Mmmmm, yummy! The twins and I did the smores marshmallows, and they looked so good! The kids all loved them, too! Guess that's a pretty good recommendation. Dipped pretzels...how can you go wrong with that? Have a fun baking day! I was hoping to do some of that myself, tomorrow, but it doesn't look like it will happen. Too many other things planned. I am hoping to get the kitchen deep cleaned, though! Katie's home from school, so I have my own Cinderella who won't complain too loudly in case "Santa" decides she doesn't need Christmas this year.

Thus ends my P3. I'm off to bed, too.

Night all! Check with you in the morning!

I'm glad to hear you are maintaining. :thumbsup2 I'm still losing slowly but some of the good habits have went out the window, however I am very conscious of it most times so it doesn't happen often. One cookie and I am done most times although yesterday I think I had 6 but than again I was stupid and hadn't eaten anything for breakfast or lunch. :sad2: I am still doing better than I would have been last year and that is truly what matters. :thumbsup2

   DDA,

I'm sorry I've been mia for so long. RL is in the way. I really thought I would be back on Sunday, but no.

Saturday is my DGD birthday party. Then we are having a sleepover for 8 of her closest friends. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

My son and his wife and my baby DGS will be here in about 8 hours. We have to go shopping for their present for my DGD. And I have other shopping to do. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

I don't know when I'll be back. Work has just been crazy. NUTS. :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

One of my friends buried her first born son while I was at WDW and I haven't even made it over to her house to give her a hug. Seems he was a victim of a randon act of violence; a robbery gone wrong and he was shot in the head. They have arrested 4 people ... 2 men and 2 women. Unflipping believable.... :sad2: :sad2:

I still haven't unpacked. :joker: :joker: :joker:

I'm getting ready to assemble all of my gifts together and see if I can locate the ones that are backordered in a brick and mortar store.... :listen: :listen:

Well, my DD's babysitter bowed out at the last moment, so I've been watching 3 kids for 7 hours and I am fried. :hourglass

I'm off to bed; then shopping; then wrapping; then off to the roller skating birthday party; then dinner; then slumber party. Sunday I have to make the time to go see Debbie.

How much do you want to bet my DD forgot to order the cake????? :cloud9: :cloud9: :dance3:
