Vicki - DH and I spent our 10th anniversary at a hotel, but DS was with my mom and my sister was being mean to him so we spent the whole night worrying about him. We were debating whether we should go get him and bring him to the hotel! :rotfl2: Maybe when he is older we will have some time with just the 2 of us!

Elin - A romantic cruise for 2 sounds nice! DH isn't sold on the idea of cruising, but he may come around eventually! :)

I'm off to make Chuck some haystacks. :ssst: Don't tell him but I've been craving them myself so when he asked, I was happy to make them. :rotfl:

At Pin Central at Epcot (Future World sort of near the big fountain) for the Epcot ones, and under the hat at MGM for the spectacle of lights ones. The resort pins are at the registers at Pop, but at the Poly they were on the rack with the other pins. (I didn't buy that one, but I saw it.)
Do you have to ask for the AP ones or just show your AP to purchase them?

Thanks for all the info!

We were talking about it while we were down there. That is the first time in our married life that we actually went away by ourselves except for one night for our 10 anniversary. This was an absolutely awesome trip!!!! It reminded me of why I fell in love with him the first time.

 That's so sweet! You'll have to plan a "real" vow renewal at WDW!!! [not that Mickey/Minnie ceremoy wasn't real ;) ]

LOVE your photos! Especially the Epcot ones with the light arch and tree in the background and Donald is so funny. :rotfl:

I will likely purchase a CD from my trip. Does anyone want to PM me their photopass card numbers and I'll add your pics to my CD?

YAY! You can see them!

I went through the pics again and there are only 6 that I am going to buy. Some of the shots are identical to ones I have on my own camera, so I will buy a few of the family pics and call it good.

I am going to take our CD from August to Sam's tomorrow and have photo cards made. The lady said it will only take one hour! I can get 50 for $16 with envelopes included, so that really seems like the way to go! :)

Bernadette - The AP pins are all kept behind the counter. At Epcot they had a little display case so you can see which ones they have. At MGM I asked to see the pins and the lady took out one of each for me. I don't think they asked for my AP at Epcot, but we wear them in clear holders around our necks so maybe they saw them. At MGM I had to show the girl my AP, then I had to show her my photo ID. I think she was new. At MK they never asked for anything. I guess they saw my wristband, but they didn't ask for my AP. :confused3

I am the one not sold on cruising, but he rarely asks for a specific vacation, so I am game!

I think I'm finally caught up. :wizard: and :grouphug: to anyone I missed in my attempt to get caught up while distracted by kids and work.

Ellen-my prayers are with your DIL and beautiful DGD

Delinda-you and your family are still in my prayers and thoughts.

So...today was a mixed day. I got my DDE card. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I got a postcard from Elizabeth :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I got my glasses from Theresa :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc (they are SO cool!!!).

and...I found out the power steering on my car will cost $1,250 + they told me a bunch of other stuff they think I should do so it would probably be over $2,500. I don't think I want to spend that much on a 10 1/2 year old with 110,000 miles on it. I don't really have the time to go new car shopping. They did add more power steering fluid and the car is running better so I think I have a few weeks or months even. I don't know if I would do better buying one before 12/31 or waiting til Presidents Day.

I've got to get to bed early tonight as I didn't sleep much last night. I've got lots to do this weekend-Christmas photo, Christmas card labels, WDW postcards, print address labels, and PACK. Now I need to do car research.

Ugh! Car stuff is the WORST! Good luck finding some time to research!

Do not buy a 2003 Nissan Altima. ;) It has had more maintenance and recall issues than I can count. This is my 3rd Altima - neither one of the other ones had any problems.

It desperately needs an oil change and new wiper blades, but it also needs to go in for recall work. I just don't have a day to go and sit while they fiddle with it!

Deb I hope your back is feeling better :wizard: Is it your lower back? I often have lower back pain, which did not start till after I had the boys. I cannot sleep in our bed for more than 5-6 without my back killing me. Once I get up & moving it gets better. I keep telling dh one of these days I need to get one of them adjustable beds!

I'm caught up again. I haven't gotten much done today. I have had a back ache for 3 days now and it seems to be getting worse. I know that I haven't done anything to cause it so it must be viral. The last 2 day an ibruprophen and tylenol combo seemed to clear it up, but not today. I've tried that, a hot bath, heating pad and even a nap. SIL gave me a flexeril before she left for the Polar Express. That seems to have helped which is good cause I couldn't get out of working tonight. I just need to be careful that I don't lift much, which will be nearly impossible. I did empty the bathroom/laundryroom trash and checked out the Santa suit.
All looks well. Now I'm off to do my hair then to the post office to mail a big bunch of Christmas cards.

Deb

I am watching Polar Express right now. I have never seen this, what a cute movie.

Great pictures Elizabeth. You found photopass photographers lots of places that we didn't. Chuck was keeping an eagle eye out the whole trip. He was so cute.

I watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It really is a cute movie.

Ok you can use me as an excuse :rotfl:

Then I bought 4 designs of Jack Skellington. The Jack pins are because Janet wanted me to look at some for her DS and I got sucked in by them! :rotfl2:

Hope brother feels better soon & that none of you catch it :wizard:

So I did end up keeping Brother at home today. He is coughing and his nose is running like a faucet. He sneezes and we have the grand snot shower. He is also CRANKY! He wanted water. I got him water in a cup with some ice. He wanted "the different water" and he cried for about 20 minutes. There isn't any "different" water! :confused3 I told him to show me but he just cried harder. He kept trying to go out the back door, so maybe he wanted water out of the garden hose? No telling. It was only about 20 some odd degrees out there - I was NOT going to go out the door.

He is napping now but he is very snuffly and he keeps coughing. :guilty:

I got your photopass stuff that time when I clicked on the link, Tammi. How much is the book?
$69.95 for the most expensive. This one gives you 20 pages (10 front and back) and lets you use your photopass pictures, upload your own photos, and you can use photos from the Disney Photo Gallery. The other one is $49.95 and you can only use your photopass pics. Additional pages for both are $1.49. You can select different layouts, different amount of pics per page, different characters, and you can also add in some commentary. I like them.
