Tammi, usually we just put it in those spongy rag type rollers on the ends of her damp hair. She will sleep with them in and them we take them out in the morning. We usually only do it for special occassions, like pictures or special outings. It doesn't take that long to do, and usually lasts for a couple of days. She loves her hair curly, because her favorite cousin has very curly hair. Leighanna's hair is very thick, so I am not sure how it would work for Alyssa. I do know that she does not tolerate hot rollers or curling irons, and that that method does not last very long either. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Tom. I'll look into getting those. That's the only time I curl her hair too.

Audience Participation for this week

Hello WPASADI Audience! This week our teams are working on throwing Red Carpet Events and you all are invited! As everyone knows, you can't walk the red carpet in just any old thing out of your closet! You have to be dressed to the nines!

Come Monday, December 11th, we will be rolling out a red carpet thread on the CB. We want you to come down and walk the red carpet!* You have until then to scour the virtual boutiques, malls and designer studios to find just the right thing to wear while on the red carpet. Once you see that red carpet thread unroll, post the picture of what you will be wearing and tell us a little bit about it.**

Celebrity Fashion Guru Tim Gunn will pick what he considers to be the Top 12 Best Dressed DISers - 12 women and 12 men - and put you on the runway for a "walk off" including a poll for all of the DIS to vote for their favorite!***

So what's in it for you, outside of a bit of fun? Well, the top female and male Red Carpet Fashionista will receive a a visit from the Tag Genie who will grant them THREE TAG WISHES that they can use on themselves, on others or a combination of both!

Now get out there and find something to wear!

*You must be a registered audience member prior to submitting your picture
**In the event of a two people posting the same outfit, the person who first posts the picture is eligible to "walk the carpet" in that outfit.
***In the event of a tie for best dressed DISer, we will have a walk off poll just between the tied entries.

Keep a look out for Joe & I too. (and 3 other adults-1 will likely have on a Mickey Santa cap with the name Ralph). We will be there Thu 12/14 to Sun 12/17. Tia and I hope to meet up on Sat 12/16 in Epcot.

Well, I am almost ready! Shirts are made, laundry is done and most everything is together. I just have to actually pack the suitcases in the morning. I really need to be in bed since I have to take Phil to work in 3 hours, but I am too excited to sleep. The reality of leaving is finally hitting me and I just can't wait.

Lindsay, we don't leave until the 17th so we do overlap. Our plans as of now are:
14th - AK, Boma and DTD or mini golf
15th - MK, MGM, Fantasmic
16th - Epcot, MK, Spectro, Wishes
17th - Unknown

If we overlap in our plans at all, give me a call when we may be in the same park. My cell phone number is on the DDA contact list.

Other things I noticed in my quick catch up:
Jen - Congrats on the close location. I hope that you are feeling better soon.
Tom - LOVE the Christmas card
Ellen - to DDIL as she has to leave her sweet baby and lots of that the time apart will be short
Deb - That robe is beautiful. I think that MIL will love it.

Tia-sorry I missed you last night. I couldn't sleep so I got up to catch up here. Then before I got all caught up Dis went down. Reality hasn't hit me yet. I'm going to try to pack this weekend-that is usually when it really hits.

Good morning, Elin! I'm glad to hear that my family isn't alone in the love of the People Mover. It's also great when you just need to think/talk/plan a bit. Why sit on a bench when you can sit on the People Mover? The only problem is that the 5 of us don't fit comfortably in one car any more. What's with these kids growing?!

We too love the TTA!!! Joe really loves it. I think he'll be my real Disney fanatic when he grows up because he also loves the Carosel of Progress.

I even found the audio track from TTA and burned it on a cd so I could listen to it at work.

Where did you get your pins? Do you know if they start to sell them before 7pm?

The current night's pin and the AP pins are at Exposition Hall. If you are looking at the building there is a door to the right where they line everybody up. The pins left from previous nights are at Uptown Jewelers. No pins are for sale prior to 7 PM.

Beth - I don't hate the People Mover, I just think if you only have 90 minutes there are better ways to spend them! After we got off the People Mover DS was mad that the line for the Speedway was too long to wait in. If we had gone there straight from Buzz there wouldn't have been such a line. On a normal day I don't mind the People Mover at all. For a commando style blitz through the MK it doesn't make my "must do" list!

The link goes to a generic photopass page and then askes for username and password. Then it takes me to MY photopass pictures.

Hmm. I'll have to try to e-mail them to myself when I get home. I have remote access to my e-mail locked because whenever I enable it I end up with hackers.

I seem to remember that you have to clear your internet cache (or logoff and back on) to have it bring up someone elses pictures. Did it request you put in a userid and password? If not, then I think it is the right link. We'll just have to clear the internet cache before trying someone elses. Does someone have the instructions on how to do that without logging off & back on?

I remember having that issue when I was looking at Denise's pics, then trying to look at Chanon's. I logged off and back on, and now your link is asking for User ID & Password.

Good afternoon DDA! This is the 1st chance I have had to get on the pc. I spent all day wrapping the kids gifts from us & Santa.

(for those of you who don't wrap from Santa, man are YOU smart! ) I started at 9am & just finished 10 minutes ago. Dana was working from home today so he took care of Sophie & got her on the bus. I hid in my room & told her I was cleaning & it was too dusty in there for her.

Now my tree looks like this!

Only the gifts from Dana & I are under the tree. Santa's gifts will be there on Chirstmas day.

I am still waiting on the digi makeover for Katie...can't get it anywhere!!!

My new Canon digital camera just came too..now I have to read the book & get a good memory card. I know nothing about digitals!!

OMG....did you see the photobook album that you can create?!?!

I am purposely not looking at the photobook. Luckily we only have 40 shots on the Pass and most of them are duplicates of the same pose. And of course some are more flattering than others. But it is still going to cost me some $$ to order everything I want. We bought the CD in August because our friends went in on it with us, but I couldn't see spending $100 for a CD this time. Maybe on our next long trip.

The "share photos" tab just gives you the option to e-mail the pics to friends. OK, so if you want to see my pics PM me your e-mail and I will e-mail them through the Photo Pass site! That will be faster than me trying to figure out how to post a link.
