I know you do. You and Jo are my inspiration for that kind of stuff. Expect me to be calling one of you when I need to be coached through a repair/fix it problem. :teeth:

Tammi you can call me anytime.

Beth - I have couple of the same Santas in my collection too. I have not put it out yet this year.

Tammi - the tree looks GREAT!

Oh no. What's the matter?

At one point I was really enjoying Kodak Easy Share version 5 and went to upgrade to version 6 and my computer really acted up. I tried to uninstall it and reload my original version since they didn't have version 5 any more and now cannot do anything. Now I have to wait until they send me the CD. Plus I have been having problems with McAfee and keep getting error messages.
Needless to say, I am not a happy camper.

Good night, everyone. See you in the morning!

Hey what happened to only 3 pages being posted???? Now it is over 50?

Just got home and need to calm down. Hate driving up from Baltimore.
Got another picture of Chucky and I in the cockpit. This time I even got to sit in the Co-Captain's chair!!!! Way Cool.

I rode the RocNRollercoaster. Screamed bloody He}} the whole time :lmao: :lmao:

Still trying to absorb everything. What a difference from yesterday and today with the weather.

Later!!

Terry I'm so proud of you.
Rock & Rollar Coaster.

Good night all. It feels good to be caught up here. I'm thinking of doing Joe's pillowcase tonight as I've got laundry going and can't go to bed yet anyways. It will be one more thing on my long to do list done if I can do it.

Gotta bring a few things in from my trunk now that the kids are asleep. I found some cute Pooh slippers for Emma at Walmart. I'm actually hoping that maybe I put the receipt in the trunk when I put the phone there that needs to be returned. I'm hoping that Staples will at least give me credit for it or maybe they can look up the sale with my rewards card.

Tom-Happy Anniversary. DH & I celebrated our 22nd this year too.

:grouphug: I can feel your stress!

I've got most of my shopping done. Just need to get something for my SIL and my Mom. I think I know what to get SIL but no idea for my Mom. What can I get someone in a nursing home?

We made my Nana a photo calendar, with pictures of us in it and are giving her a dress. Pictures are always nice. A silk plant, something to hang on her wall or door. My Nana likes to decorate her door for the seasons.

Goodnight everyone. I'm heading to bed.

I used to do a calendar everyyear with all of our family birthdays, anniversaries, ect... I stopped doing it because I was getting like 15 copies for my family and DH's family and doing seperate date pages for both and it was over $200 having them printed. I still have the calendar pages on my old PC so I just need to add my Mom's new Great Granddaughter and print and the calendar software will automatically print "Joe's 6th Birthday", "Emma's 4th Birthday" and put what gifts to buy for anniversaries.... I can just print the one copie for her and one for me and just pay Staples to bind them.

Thanks for reminding me!

Does your Nana have a private room? My Mom shares a room (not too much space) so I don't know if she could decorate the door. I should find out as her roommate would probably like it too.

I need to up-date my information.
Who's in charge of keeping track.
My address & phone need changed.
E-mail is the same ********@yahoo.com
PM me so I can up-date.

We have a really full one and I just want to warn you that the bottom 1/3 of the tree is SO heavy that I honestly don't think I could put it up by myself and I think I'm relatively strong. I should have know when I went to buy it and I couldn't even slide the box onto the shopping cart. I had to have help getting it on the cart and into the car.
Last Year

This is from 2 years ago, last year the train didn't go up. :sad2: This year I am determined to put it up. Currently tree is up and partly decorated, train still needs to go up. The tree has 6 or 8 pieces for the bottom and the top 2 feet is one section. The box is huge I could easily sleep in it.

This train has been in my family since the late 50's or early 60's. Here is my Dad with it many years ago.

Elizabeth, you think the train will keep the cat away??? Not around here, Penny loves the train. She sits on the tracks, follows it around and it isn't quiet either.

Well the calendar was actually free, as I had gotten some codes for free calendars from Shutterfly, they don't have the important dates in them just pictures. Don't tell anyone they were free. :teeth:

She shares a room now, between the two of them, they always have something neat hanging on the door. They facility actually has hangers on all the doors, but we'll do wreaths, heart things, bunnies, snowmen, patriotic, etc so the door is decorated year round. She actually doesn't store all the stuff there family keeps it and decorates the door at the appropriate time. But it is a big deal to have a nicely decorated door.

Also hand lotions, chapstick, tissue packs, toiletries, things like that are nice as the place she stays doesn't supply that stuff or the stuff they supply isn't that nice. Also a nice lap blanket or if she has a wheelchair or walker a hanging bag for those, are nice to move things around in.

I hope so because the talk we had tonight about not getting everything that she asks for didn't go over so well. Nicholas got it, but I think it was too much for her to grasp. I gave her the spiel that if Santa runs out of a certain toy that you ask for he will pick something extra special that he thinks you will like even better, yada yada yada. Her response...."what if I don't, and what if I don't ever want to play with it, and it just sits there?" Oh boy. :sad2:

:grouphug: :grouphug: Maybe you need to include a note from Santa about how he specially made the doll to look like her and how he feels about how this is the toy he specifically made just for her. I know you want Alyssa to be happy and you want Christmas to be special, I am certain that she will be happy with it and have a great Christmas. You are a great Mom and I feel you have made a good decision. :thumbsup2

She's got Christmas down doesn't she? First the tree and then this....I bet she will be in love with her doll as soon as she sees it!!

Wow, Theresa -- you guys lucked out keeping her out of the loop! I think we were delighted to have our girls continue to believe until they were 8 or 9.

I asked her tonight if she saw her sister's present and she said "yup, and Cassidy said she already knew about it!!" Well Cassidy claims she didn't say that but since she can't lie to me....she was a fibbing. :teeth:
I asked Abi to see if the item (a Game It) was where she thought she saw it. It wasn't there and she said I must have been hallucinating!! (We rehid it)

I then told Cassidy that dad was returning it and I would be getting her something else. She said "Oh I'll pick something else!" "Nope, I'll get it" "You'll get something I want right?" "We'll see" :teeth:

Radio City Music Show was awesome, you even have to wear 3d specs for part of the show. Before anyone gets cranky with me, :teeth: all of these pics were taken without flash.
