Thanks Tammi. Anyone been there or Coral Reef before? Any recommendations. We are looking for something different.

Been to Garden Grill twice. Really enjoyed it both times. I liked that it was served family style-especially when I went alone with Lizzy. It was easier than buffet. Character interaction was great, service was great, rotating was fun, I thought it was quieter than most character meals I've been too.

I swore I wasn't going to do it. I promised myself that it didn't matter, as long as the kids had a fun Christmas. But the blues are starting to get to me and I am trying my best not to let them. I so wish I had someone to share this holiday season with and to make a family with for my kids. There. I said it. I've cried a few tears. Now I need to toughen up and get over it.

o tammi, im sorry you have the blues! Come vent here whenever you need to, i wish i could do something to help!

You all are wonderful! Thank you so much. You have given me much to think and be happy about. Just admitting to myself (and putting it out there to you all) that I am sad made me feel better. I guess that is the first step in dealing with it. I have already thought about the new traditions thing. We are going to Mass on Christmas Eve (usually went in the AM). Now I've decided to have a relaxing morning opening presents and taking the time to enjoy it, then later in the morning making Glynis overnight toast and caramelized bacon. I don't know what we will do the rest of the day. Maybe go to a movie. I bought a glazed ham that just needs to be cooked, although with just me and 2 little kids, we will be eating leftover ham for a long time!

Thank you all. I don't know what I would do without you. And I sincerely mean that.

I wish you were closer to me Tammi--id hang out with you guys! if you ever get the urge to come to NJ , let me know!

I am in a horrible mood, so I am pouting at the computer. But the computer keeps crashing.
Nothing good in the mailbox. (But I did get a nice e-card from Janet!)
No tree because DH came home and went to SLEEP after he got DS from me. When I got home from work he was just waking up to start dinner. Now he has gone to buy cat litter because he didn't get any last night when he was at Target and didn't bother to tell me we were out so I could get some today! So when he gets back it will be time for him to go to bed. And when I said I was disappointed he got all snarky and gave me a lecture about how tired he is. OK, fine! Be tired! I can't be disappointed but he is allowed to be tired? On a brighter note, I get to go in at 12:30 tomorrow. IF there was a tree I could decorate it in the morning with DS.
I haven't had a chance to talk with DH about going to visit my mother. The plane is wide open, maybe I'll book it for DS & me and then tell him we are going. If he wants to go I can book a seat for him later. Or not.
