Since you aren't crazy about your new tree, would you consider buying cheap ornaments to decorate it just to get through this year? You could pick some up at dollar tree perhaps

Oh, I don't know. Maybe if I see it out of the box I will like it. Maybe if I can go find CLEAR lights tomorrow I will be more inclined to like it. DH said they didn't have any at the Target he went to, but there are LOTS of stores in this town.

I don't mind using my good ornaments as long as I am sure the tree won't tip over. That happened a few years back. That was the year I ended up going out and buying my fabulous pre-lit musical tree. DH got rid of our old Christmas tree when we moved because he said we wouldn't have room to store it. Then we had no tree. A friend had a tree in his attic that he said we could borrow. It was very unstable and fell over, and several of my ornaments suffered life threatening injuries. So my pre-lit tree was an "emergency" purchase and I paid WAY too much money for it. But we keep it in the original box in the top of DS's closet, so we DO have room to store it. Now the damn cat is determined to devour every inch of my pre-lit lights! And I am getting to the point that I don't care if we have a tree or not because I don't feel like messing with it. Bah, humbug!

I may have made it a second night but I won't be here long. This morning I didn't hear my alarm clock.Result of late night DISing? I think so.
I noticed my anonomous signatuer designer installed a trip counter. I prefer to consider it as a count down to my next kitchensink.

What flavor airborne do you guys use? Becky got me the cider kind. Can I say - Yuck!!!!

Last night I used a free sample of Lemon-Lime Airborne to go. Before I had used the orange. I only took it because like everybody around here is sick and I don't wanna be sick.

I probably had reflux issues all summer and was only diagnosed in October. I think that all my sinus, ear and other issues I had over the summer were caused by the reflux. I still have not found a link between certain foods and the reflux, for awhile everything was causing the reflux.

Let's just that Airborn and I do not get along though. I took some last night and it did not get along with me. I don't do soda anymore not necessarily because of the reflux, because I am trying to eat healthier and don't like diet soda but the fizziness of the Airborn did me in last night.

I had a small glass of diet pepsi today and that is when my pain started after the chiropractor. I've been trying to stick to water, but I just couldn't help myself. Tomorrow I will not drink soda and see how it goes.

The Airborne I bought for Momboss is lemon-lime. I haven't tasted it, though.

I'll be going to bed soon too. Though, I've slept a good portion of the day. I sure hope I'm feeling better in the morning. I have to attend a 3 hour phone conference in the morning. Hopefully, the new top guy won't be as long winded as I heard he was in the last meeting. Nothing worse than a meeting where nothing gets accomplished but someone flapping their jaws.

That you are feeling better and that the meeting is quick and productive.

Sister asked me today if I have ever had a conference call. I told her I don't think so. Momboss has them almost every day, but I can't imagine who I would talk to on a conference call!

They are not much fun! I remember the first one I was on was back in 1983. I was the regional student representative for the Society of Women Engineers. I represented 32 schools in 7 states. I had a voting position on the board. There were only 6 student reps for all the engineering schools across the US. These professional women engineers would call a phone conference and I would have to participate. At the time, it seemed so "cool". Now, I realize they are just boring!
