Ellen - sorry for all the drama regarding your son. Hopefully DDIL will wisen up as time goes by. Right now she is still on cloud 9 so after she comes down a little maybe she will be more appreciative of the help.

Elizabeth - what is up with your crazy cat? I never heard of a cat that liked to chew on wires. I wonder what the attraction is. Mine prefers to chew on the needles.

Our cat was totally like that! He chewed through several computer speakers, my sister's alarm clock and 3 sets of headphones. He was a wire fiend.

Deb - I will be interested to see if your pain really is reflux. I will be very surprised if it is! On the other hand, I can't imagine what else it would be that they haven't already looked at!

This is not the right week of the month for me to be narrowing down pain and it's cause. I really will do just about anything to get some relief through the holiday. Chris is off next week so I can really focus on the issues then.

We won't be locking her up this year. My "good" tree is already packed away again. The reason I am not sure if I want to put up the one without lights is because our ornaments are an all day procedure. 95% of my ornaments are Hallmark. They are all still in the original boxes, so we have to unwrap each one, hang it, and put the box back in the big Rubbermaid tub. Taking the tree down is even worse because we have to match the boxes to the ornaments as we go. It is very time consuming. I guess we could just put some select ornaments on this year since we are so late getting started.

We tell DS all the time to keep his headphones picked up or she will eat through the cord.

I think I have just been the victom of vandalism. When I went to bed last night my signature was what I believe to be a good likenss of me, in the form of Hercules. When I logged on tonight I found an all to realistic photo of me polishing off a kitchen sink sundae!
I'm pretty sure it was an inside job.

I have dial-up internet, so I keep the images turned off so my pages load faster. When people mention signature pics I have to click on them to see the picture. MMM. That Kitchen Sink does look yummy! Don't know anything about your Hercules pic.

Since you aren't crazy about your new tree, would you consider buying cheap ornaments to decorate it just to get through this year? You could pick some up at dollar tree perhaps

Yep. I think there are maybe 45 girls around the DDA on a fairly regular basis, and 2 boys. Well, Mac popped in not too long ago, so to be generous we'll call it 3 boys.

Thank you. I'm calling the doctor on wednesday and that is one option that I intend to explore. I have really been paying attention and can possibly see a connection between eating and the pain. It doesn't seem to always be directly related, but it certainly is worth persuing.

I probably had reflux issues all summer and was only diagnosed in October. I think that all my sinus, ear and other issues I had over the summer were caused by the reflux. I still have not found a link between certain foods and the reflux, for awhile everything was causing the reflux.

Let's just that Airborn and I do not get along though. I took some last night and it did not get along with me. I don't do soda anymore not necessarily because of the reflux, because I am trying to eat healthier and don't like diet soda but the fizziness of the Airborn did me in last night.

I'll be going to bed soon too. Though, I've slept a good portion of the day. I sure hope I'm feeling better in the morning. I have to attend a 3 hour phone conference in the morning. Hopefully, the new top guy won't be as long winded as I heard he was in the last meeting. Nothing worse than a meeting where nothing gets accomplished but someone flapping their jaws.
