P3 over here. I am headed back to Richmond this morning. Kristin left the cables for her printer plugged into the wall here at home. We figure she may need them!

Out for breakfast first with Kathrin and a trip to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens www.lewisginter.org/ for a look around and then over to the dorm before heading home. See you all later on today or tonight. Have a great day, DDA! :sunny:

Tia :thumbsup2 Surprise money is always a good thing. Hope your family is doing well adjusting to the move.

Thanks, Christi, we are. Terra and Connor are getting along much better and only have minor scuffles each day. I don't think that there has been any hitting for at least 2 days (knock on wood). Now we just need to get Daddy here! (He'll be here by Friday.)

Speaking of which, Phil has been feeling especially "zonked", as he calls it, meaning that he is constantly feels like he needs to sleep even though he is getting more than enough of it. He is a little concerned about driving while feeling that tired so could use some prayers and pd if you all could. He will be on the road either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning through sometime on Friday. I know that he will stop often if he needs to, but I know that he is worried.

party: :bday: to your sister.

Yeah, it did!! I think that I just got too tired after running around all day, fixing dinner for everyone tonight, putting together the lasagna's for today and then trying to stay up waiting Terra out.

Nope. We had some drama around here today. One of Alan's hard drives (he has several to hold his freelance work) crashed with an incomplete project for a client on it. It wouldn't be so bad, except he can't find the tapes that have the raw video on them. So, basically, on a $5000.00 project, we are SOL. I don't know what he's going to do. He's been trying for hours to get the data off the hard drive, but it's not working. I've been tearing the house apart to look for the tapes, but they are not here! It's been frustrating. Hopefully the client will be understanding and let Alan shoot the video again!

So, no walking for me today. I think I'll plan on it for after Church tomorrow. I'll let you know.

And now, I'm off to bed. I need to finish reading "The Kite Runner," but I'm really caught up in "Size 12 is not Fat." I'm going to read a couple chapters of each book before drifting off to Disney dreams.

Oh no!!! I hope that there is something Alan can do to salvage the project easily. I will pray that the tapes mysteriously appear or at the very least that he can reshoot. :grouphug: :wizard:

Good morning everyone!! I've got to go get us ready for church so I'll catch up with you all later.

Happy Sunday! Those with great sounding plans...have fun!

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sending :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: that he either finds the tapes or can recover the data off the hard drive.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: that your walk/run goes well. I know you can do it. :thumbsup2

Good Morning,

I've got a quick question before I head out to work, I'm putting together a Power Point Presentation of our last trip, and I'm trying to find a good song to play at the beginning. I had "When you Wish Upon a Star" but it really is too slow for what I wanted. Any suggestions?

PS - it's gotta be Disney

Chat with you later,

Debbie
How about Be our Guest? :teeth:

My girlfriend's last trip she drove into Disney and videotaped their drive in...funny thing though is that they were listening to Disney's Greatest Hits and the opening song to the Lion King was playing...It actually fit their drive under the Disney arches perfectly!!

Please say prayers for family and friends on the Comair/Delta flight from KY that crashed after takeoff this morning. ETA: and special prayers for the one survivor that is in critial condition.

Uzima Springs - that's perfect! I had DInosaur Gertie's ice cream after all...

I don't think I managed X Y or Z either... :rolleyes1:

As for X I don't have a clue except Xcellent food

Y could be Yakitori House in Japan, Yorkshire County Fish Shop-the official name of the fish and chips counter service in EPCOT, or Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club

For Z the only food related thing I could thing of was Zebra domes from Boma

Thank you very much Clare.

We at at Whispering Canyon Cafe on Saturday night on Sunday Morning we had breakfast at Cape May Cafe. All the tables are covered in white paper table covers and every table whether you have kids or not get crayons. Well there was no yellow crayons in the packages they had only green, orange, red, and purple.

I was seriously considering yelling we need a yellow crayon, but I restrained myself as there was a child probably about 1 year old who was sleeping at the table next to us and I didn't want to wake them. :thumbsup2 Otherwise I probably would have.

:wizard: I hope your DH can get the data or find the footage. Maybe tomorrow morning will bring a fresh idea for him on how to fix the problem. :wizard:

Thanks for the pixie dust. He was up all night long with a couple of computer techs who couldn't retrieve anything, either. He's going to try a couple of other things, but he's not too optimistic! He'll probably just have to start over and hope the client will be ok with that.

 Here's some :wizard: that you find the tapes, or fix the frive, or get to reshoot.

And I really can't work out how you can read two books at once! I have to finish one and let it sink in for a few hours before I start another :)

Which is odd, because I can watch tv programmes in the same way you read without a problem

The way I read drives Alan crazy! He can't stand it! In the bedroom I'm reading "The Kite Runner" (nope, didn't finish it last night), in the living room I'm reading "Size 12 is Not Fat," and in the office I'm reading "Writing Down the Bones." I just hate to be without a book. In the car, I usually have a book as well, but I haven't taken one out for a while. I do have about 3 magazines though.

I don't understand how I keep them all straight, but I do. Poor Alan, he thinks I'm nuts. Well, I am, but he doesn't have to know that, right? My daughter Katie is the same way. She's usually reading 2 or 3 books at the same time. Must be heriditary(sp?)

The Second Star to the Right
A Whole New World
It's a Small World After All
A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes

Any of those work?

Actually, the first song that popped into my head was "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." My kids have been singing that for the last 2 days.

I hadn't heard about this (we don't have the tv on, yet). Prayers are being said, right now!

Clare -- I am not sure if I ever knew your last name, but it just tickles me! I love the way it sounds. :goodvibes

I wasn't sure whether to post it, and then thought what the heck... it's very strange isn't it!

I actually just googled it - and there were quite a few Swindlehursts in America on the 1920 census.

This is what it means apparently:

Swindlehurst
English (Lancashire and Cumbria): probably a habitational name from Swinglehurst in Bowland Forest, West Yorkshire, so named from Old English swin ‘hog’, ‘wild boar’ + hyll ‘hill’ + hyrst ‘wooded ridge’.

So apparently my husband's ancestors looked after pigs on hills! :rotfl:
