Why so early?

Me? I'm getting up early as well. Tomorrow is my first big endurance day. I'm going walking for 2 hours to see if I can keep my pace up. Wish me luck. I'm a little scared about it!

So how'd it go? I hope to find out by reading on but you all were chatty yesterday!!

Yup. Alan made me promise that now that I'll have more time on my hands that I'd pick up writing again. It's scary, but in a good way! I have several journals that I've been working in over the last couple of years. Maybe nothing will come of it, but I'm enjoying it.

I miss writing! Who are some of your favorite writing authors?

Oh, I really wish I could work this out with my teaching schedule... Is anyone planning on just going Friday-Sunday?

With those dates...probably!! Cassidy can't miss school and I can't miss that much work.

Here are some of the party pics, after playing inside, running around like wild children and jumping on the tumble track, they had cake and ice cream followed by a couple of hours of water slide fun. I'm sure all those kids are sound asleep by now.

I've been doing some geneology with my mother this summer, and we have Swindlehurts in our family line. How cool is that? Of course, it's from a couple of hundred years ago, but there might be a connection somewhere.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I was posting It took a lot of hard work and brain power to get that milestone, and I think if anyone had jumped in (even by accident) I might well have cried!

Hey that reminds me - I woke up at about 3 am this morning and thought - I'm not Susan Lucci anymore!

Congrats on the milestone and fairly easy reading!! My only thought is I haven't seen most of those attractions or eaten at most of those restaurants. But I will next year!!

Thanks, Christi, we are. Terra and Connor are getting along much better and only have minor scuffles each day. I don't think that there has been any hitting for at least 2 days (knock on wood). Now we just need to get Daddy here! (He'll be here by Friday.)

Speaking of which, Phil has been feeling especially "zonked", as he calls it, meaning that he is constantly feels like he needs to sleep even though he is getting more than enough of it. He is a little concerned about driving while feeling that tired so could use some prayers and pd if you all could. He will be on the road either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning through sometime on Friday. I know that he will stop often if he needs to, but I know that he is worried.

I don't really have any. I never really started writing until I was a teacher. I never took any formal writing classes in college. I always wanted to, but the literature classes were where I spent all my time.

Give me the names of some to look up. I would really appreciate it!

Is there a way to have the pictures in your photobucket full size but when you post them they are smaller. I swear that is what I used to do but it isn't working now and the pics I had were huge so I had to reduce the size and they are now all different sizes. Thank you in advance.
