I was reading a whole long article about how good soy is etc. etc etc.

I tried the Soy Milk..and I felt like I was drinking liquid smelly feet!!! :crazy2:

I tried regular tofu...that wasn't much better. :faint:

Then I read about the soy chocolate bars...the ones I found had 270 calories...I just couldn't bring myself to buy them.

OK - 'splain this one - how do you know what liquid smelly feet tastes like???

Where were you earlier, Becky? :rotfl: I bet they serve some food there so I think we could qualify your "U."

Unfortunately I was working. :sad2: But I wish I hadn't been.

ahhhhhhhhh... well, as for getting the soy into my diet on my own... nope. Sounds yucky to me! But in the meals and snacks I get it is good stuff. They have a vegetarian sloppy joe that is really good. Supposedly the soy is what helps keep that glycemic index low because it helps maintain a constant level of "whatever" you need to maintain! :rotfl: :rotfl:

It tasted a lot like the third floor of Jonathan's dorm smelled like...old feet!

We need some prayers and PD here on the coast again, Ernesto is supposed to make it into the Gulf by this weekend, one of the tracks I saw had it headed this way. It is way too soon to say for sure right now but if it gets anywhere near here it is going to be mass chaos. You would not believe the number of FEMA trailors still here, we don't have near enough shelters for everyone. My stomach is already churning, I've lived here most of my life and I never felt like this before, DH says we are out of here if anything larger than a 2 heads our way.

BTW, for those of you who watch the weather channel, Jim Cantore is in town.

Sending :wizard: :wizard: to everyone who is in the hurricane areas.

I know it'll probably just become more fun as the evening progresses, but I'm off to bed. It's been a long week.

OK, it has been a long day filled with a lot of physical tasks. I am heading to bed to read a bit. See y'all in the a.m. :)
