Good to hear!! I've got to send out my secret pal package this week and my theme for this month is back to school.....I'll go by and see if they have notebooks or a journal.

Target has the Disney Mix Stick's for $39 and disneyshopping has a POTC Mix stick. These are really good for the younger kids.

Booger....it's the mom's plight...time to ourselves and not knowing what to do with it!!!

My weight loss: March 2003 I weighed 193 lbs
August 2003 I weighed 143 lbs
I lost 50 lbs. Unfortunately I have regained 12 lbs.
Tomorrow I plan to start Weight Watchers. I would have
Gone to my first meeting tonight, but they were closed due
to the holiday.

I posted my before and "during" pictures at Easter. One of these days I'll have Alan take an official "after" picture and then I'll re-post everything! I can't believe I just volunteered to have a picture taken of me! That's a first for me. I'm usually hiding from the camera!

It was the other's family to cookout....odd taste to the spanish rice...but the rest was yummy. Espescially the yummiest lemon pound cake I have ever tasted!!

Ooooo, I love pound cake! My grandma used to make the most wonderful pound cake. I've got her recipe somewhere. I may have to pull it out one of these days!

I'm here. I just had to tuck in the kids and read to them. Katie and I finished the witch of blackbird pond, and started a wrinkle in time tonight. I'd forgotten just how much I like that book.

Jacob and I are close to finishing Peter and the Starcatchers. He's really enjoying that book, and now wants to be Black Stache for Halloween. That could be cute!

Ooooo, I love pound cake! My grandma used to make the most wonderful pound cake. I've got her recipe somewhere. I may have to pull it out one of these days!

This pound cake is made by a friend of the family's but she won't give the recipe out. I felt so special that she shared the last bit of their gift with us!!
