Southwest has their times out for nov. dec. If I book now and a ding fare comes availabe will the airline give me credit or do I need to cancel the reseravtions if possiple and rebook.

I didn't know that. We love Austin! Brian lived there for 4 years when they still had the Air Force base. We visited friends there about 10 years ago and haven't been back since. It's absolutely beautiful! If I would agree to move there Brian would have the for sale sign up in our yard tomorrow!!

Just popping in and saw this question - Jennifer, they will give you a credit towards another flight. Of course, if a DING fare comes out, you have to make sure that the flights you need are available with a DING, and then cancel your existing reservation, and then rebook immediately using your ticketless travel funds (their version of a credit). Whatever funds are left over will be good for a year from date of purchase of the original ticket (I've also been able to have them extend that time period in the past).

ETA: I flew to MCO from Houston last year on Southwest the Monday following Thanksgiving for a week, and we got some kind of sale fare (don't remember if it was a DING, or just another one of their sales). I want to say each leg was $89 for each of us.

Tammi - are you still looking for some new dinner recipes? I just stumbled across a thread on the CB that is mostly recipes. It's call "The Official What's for Dinner thread." I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes I'm reading. They sound really good!!!!!

By the way, if anyone is interested, I just tried a recipe for Refried Bean Soup that was out of this world. Let me know if anyone wants it!

hi everyone-hope you all had a good monday (as good as any Monday can be!)
Today was alot better at work than i expected and i was skipping class tonight to get some things done around the house. I am planning on an early bed but had to come and catch up! hope you all are doing good!
