I know the top one is faded. I designed the ruler and it has never looked right on their site. I thought I would give it a try this week, but I don't like it and will have to change it. The bottom one looks OK to me, though. Not super cute, but OK. :rotfl:

The blanket matches those pj shorts! We looked EVERYWHERE! I knew they were here somewhere... kids got out their sleeping bags today to play campout, and it was in Rees' bag from when they played with them with Brooksie.

Can you PM me Theresa's name and address?
Will do but it will have to wait as the address is in a pile in my dining room that probably won't get touched for another day or so.

Denise congrats on post 46,000!!!!!!

For 2008 we reqeusted Connecting SPH (Secret Porthole- Cat 8 billed at a Cat 10 price). For Nov 07 we've got 2079 and 2081 which are Cat 10 connecting, Deck 2, midship. They're right by the midship elevators and under Lumiere's. Said it's great except for the night of the Dessert Buffet (can hear furniture scraping). Simple solution to that- GO TO THE DESSERT BUFFET AND ENJOY!!!!!!!

What's going on? I see the design and the tickers. Maybe I possess those DDA superpowers after all :3dglasses

We must be sharing the same superpowers because I can see them all too.

Happy Hump Day, DDA! :goodvibes

I hope everyone is having a good day - I've been reading along where I can, but work is stressing me out! I will be very glad when this weeend is over, as it means I will have survived one of my final "big" events of our summer intern program - we put on a "Battle of the Bands" for 300 of our closest friends. :faint: I still have 5 1/2 weeks to go, but there is at least a glimmer of a light at the end of the tunnel!

Lindsay- Hooray for the light at the end of the tunnel. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: It is so much better when you can actually see the end in sight. :wizard: :wizard: that you event goes well and :wizard: for less stress and a :grouphug: just because I think you can use one.

Ok, I'm supposed to be working on putting our budget together. While we were in Green Bay today for Chuck's specialist appointment (that is a thread for later), we stopped to look at travel trailers. We have been talking about upgrading our pop-up to a regular travel trailer since Chuck has been having his joint issues. We looked online last night at some Jayco ones and picked one that we liked. We stopped at a big dealership in Green Bay and didn't really like them as well as the Jayco we saw online. We stopped at our local Jayco dealer in Iron Mountain when we got home. They have the exact one that we were thinking about and it has all the bells and whistles. It is a 2006 model so is clearanced price (I never quite understand that but I guess they have to make room for the 2007's which will be out in the next month or so). It is reduced by $7000. They think that our pop-up is probably worth $3000. We can get financing and the interest is tax deductible because it has a bathroom, bedroom & kitchen.

Here it is. We would get the 26' version. That is all we need. It has two bunk beds in the back for the girls if they come (or our grandbabies in 5-10 years  if we are so lucky).

Here is the floor plan.

Now, I have to get off the DDA and put together the info to show Chuck that we can afford this. I know that it will cut into my Disney trips, but my new plan is to travel around the country and meet my DDA friends!!!! Chuck says that he would do that with me in this (& after we get a new vehicle to pull it because our suburban isn't reliable). We pay off both our vehicles within the year so next summer we could afford another vehicle payment!!!! So I could be knocking on DDA doors as early as next summer!!! :woohoo:

Vicki, that looks wonderful! I'm so jealous! I love our pop up, but would love more room as well.

I'm lost, who is JAMIN? But oh yeah she leads a real boring life.

Jamin is Benjamin Bratt. He was an actor at the Utah Shakespearean Festival where I worked and we dated for a summer. Too bad we lost contact. At least, Kate thinks it's too bad!

Glynis,

The thing about Florida weather is that it can be very unpredictable. It is very wise to layer.

Thanks, Terry. I am making notes for our trip!

I'm sure that I will be taking you up on it!!!! I'm still trying to wrap my head around the news that I am actually going to be in WDW in January!!!!

Here's an early question: what is the weather usually like there in early January? What will I need to pack? Is it warm enough for capris? Do I need heavy sweaters, jackets, etc?

Good question :teeth: :rotfl: :rotfl2: Sorry the weather down there can be so fickle especially in January. I remember wearing tank tops and shorts and sweating only to find myself scrapping ice off my windshield a few days later in several layers of clothing as it was below 32 degrees F.

If it gets that cold watch out for the people who don't understand you need to scrape the ice off and instead blast there car defroster and drive off as soon as they got in the car hanging their head out the window like a dog until the windshield clears. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: The first time I witnessed it I couldn't believe people would do that. I'm waiting for the accident when two people are driving along with their heads hanging out the window and they bump heads. :teeth:

I would make sure to pack lots of layers so shorts, t-shirts, capris, long pants, long sleeve tees, and sweat shirts. A good mix of things so that you can mix and match and adjust according to the weather throughout the day. If it is chilly you will probably start out the day and end the day in a sweatshirt or more. You might also want to bring a hat, gloves and scarf just in case it gets chilly because they are not easy to find. :thumbsup2

I am sure that you will have a blast exploring the Florida parks :cool1: and I know you will do awesome in the half marathon. :thumbsup2

Ok a question for you who know the Disney cruise line. I mentioned the cruise to Dana today...a while later he says maybe we can go next year..I said I think the cruises are booked for 2007 so maybe early 2008??? Is 2007 sold out & is 2008 available for booking?

I have to go over to the cruise board but I wasn't sure my DH was serious until today...I think we'd do the 2 cat 9's or 10's & only for 3 or 4 days.
They have been booking the cruises for 2007 for awhile but that doesn't mean they are sold out. For the most part the earlier you book a Disney Cruise the lower the prices will be. Occasionally they offer special deals for certain cruises closer to the sailings but that doesn't happen all that often. Let me know if you have any questions.

I would so suck as a single mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are really looking up around here though!!!

Steve's company was in doubt as to its success - due to a law that needed to be repealed - it was and things are taking off like gangbusters!!! Which means good things for us financially!!!! On top of everything else going on in our lives - we have actually been very concerned that his company was going to close - leaving him jobless and more importantly - us without health insurance -

now that those concerns and Nick's health concerns are over - things are really good at our house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! When good news comes you it REALLY comes to you, doesn't it? That's marvelous! I hope it continues to get better and better!

last... my other SIL A (the sick one is SIL T) and I have been contacting the newspaper and news station today about this. I hope one of them put this on the news..

"Mother with 2 months or less to life denied visitiation with less than two year old daughter."

I so don't like the girls father or the judge who said no, not going to happen.
Sending :wizard: that this gets news coverage so that this girl can spend time with her Mom. :wizard: and :grouphug:

There is a thread called "I need a Woody" on the theme parks board -

she is looking for woody the character - but you can imagine her responses!!

Baloo posted this cartoon - which is so hilarious!!!

Karen- Glad to hear the good news. :wizard: for continued improvement.
