So tonight that news report with Disney money saving tips was on - and OMG - I could not believe how horrible it was -

it started out showing the DISNEYLAND castle for WDW - her big suggestions on saving money were to buy souveniors at Wal-mart before you go and to stay at Fort Wilderness or the Villas to save money on food and only have table service at lunch -

she had a DVC bag - so I am sure that she is a member so that makes sense for her - but if you were truly budgeting - it is not a good option -

he said that if you buy multi-day tickets - you can enter the parks at 6 am!!! ***?!!?!?

I sent him an email tonight - here is what I wrote: I think you will be able to see what other innacuracies he had

I have yet to get to the Nick report from this morning, but I did see a reply that is is good. I am happy for you both.

I finally told John last week the significance of the turtle. He's pretty happy that every time I look at a turtle I think of having fun with HIM! What an ego.

Mornin'

Has it been decided what the agenda is for the meet this weekend? Just want to get an idea! I will only be able to do Saturday. I have family coming up on Sunday and now have a party on the calendar.

You are a busy lady

Oh I forgot, My baby finally slept in her big girl bed last night! We had tried it a few months ago and it was horrible. So we went back to the crib. But while on vacation starting the climbing out again. Eric set the bed up yesterday and she napped in it and went to bed in it. She was actually very excited about it!

That's great!!!!

YUM!!!

I caught a bit of a biography show on Johnny Depp yesterday. It really put into perspective what a great actor and father he is. It was quite interesting. Fatherhood has grounded him.

He's a father? Oh now I had no idea. Well he is still very yummy.

Paula -- you should move to Texas -- no notary test! :thumbsup2

Thank you.
I just found out that the loan officer that I was planning on getting a lot of her business.... well she shot me down a bit and said she knows so many notaries that I might have been a waste of my time. So I am now a bit depressed. Oh well it was a nice idea, something else good will come along.

You all know that Ben and Jerry's makes their ice cream in Vermont!!! You should come and visit the factories some time. The factory in Waterbury offers tours daily. I've been several times as I have lots of family that lives within spitting distance of there. I've also been to the one in burlington, but they only make on flavor at a time there. Chris worked for a local B&J ice cream shop when he was in high school. You have no idea how much ice cream I consumed then. You can of course imagine how much he ate with the screen name Kitchensinkguy. He has definately earned that name :goodvibes

Deb

If I find myself in that area, I would hope you would take me to the factory.

WHO - ME! And Phil and Terra
WHAT - Moving to St. Louis (home of my mommy, daddy, 3 sisters, 2 BIL, 1 niece, 1 nephew and 1 niece or nephew to come)
WHEN - Approx Aug 16 for me and Terra, end of August for Phil
WHERE - Living with my parents for awhile to help out my mom for awhile and will take care of my sister's kids as well
WHY - I miss my mommy! Even more I miss being the stay-at-home kind of mommy! When work took away my half day's working at home that was kind of the end of if for me here. It just hasn't worked out to be best for Terra and I think she (and I) will really benfit from living close to cousins so close in age (2 and 4, plus baby).

Again I am happy for you and your family.

How did Ellie do today? Emma went through this near the end of her 3yr preschool year but the teacher and I thought it had to do with Molly being born and her not wanting to miss out on something at home. From day 1 Emma walked in to the class and wanted to know when I was leaving. Any ideas as to what is causing it?

She started to cry, but a teacher came and got her so I could leave. She has good weeks and bad weeks. I think sometimes she would just rather stay home with me. Bethie can't go to "school" because we just don't have that money tree in the backyard growing. I will find a way for Bethie to go with in the next year, but for now, this is the way it will be. I hope to find a new thing for Ellie to be happy about and enjoy her time way.

Oh, he'll let me know his presence every once in a while. Especially when I'm driving. I don't know how many times a light on a lamp post has went out just as I was reaching it when I've been thinking about how much I miss Dad and wish he was here for some advice. There have probably been 50 or 60 in the last 8 years. I know it's him reminding me that he is there and if I listen very closely I'll know what he is telling me. My dad had a big influence on all of us kids.

I think that is so wonderful.

I just got home from work awhile ago & still need to catch up on the thread, but I had to share some good news! I booked our flights through Airtran when they had the flights on sale. Well last week they were on sale again, but at a lower price. I emailed Airtran & got a reply today. They said they would honor the lower rates. I called & now have a credit of $185   I am so happy about this, I really did not think they would do anything for me. The lady I spoke with was so nice & guess what she loves Disney too :thumbsup2

Anyway I can now use this credit towards our trip in Jan. for Garrett's birthday :cool1: I received a little bit of pixie dust today pixiedust:

whoo hoo!!!!

Nick and I are home - Julia didn't want to leave Grandma yet!!

He was SO good during his test and they were nice enough to let him try without sedation and he did awesome -I could not believe he stayed still for 1/2 hour!!!

At the end of the test I asked how I would get the results and they told me my doctor would call me but if it was serious they would not let me leave the hospital.

I then asked - and we can go

she said yep!!!!

So now I just have to hear back from my doctor - it isn't nothing yet - but at least it isn't something serious!!

I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders!! I can't wait to get a full report!!!

Thank you all for your support the past few weeks!!! It has meant the world to me!!

this is great news! Happy for you!

I think this will work...

Here is a link to my 4th of July photos. You don't have to sign in to see them (even though it looks like you do). Just as a warning, there are over 200! Three of the kids are mine, though there aren't many of my long haired oldest ds. Then there are three of my brother's five (the oldest and the baby stayed home). The others that show up are my parents, my dh, and even a couple of me ( ).

Thanks!! at my party I was the youngest (other than the kids) by a decade....I have always hung out with the "older" crowd!!

I think being a young parent will help in HS as I can remember all to well what happened in HS. Plus I am still a cool mom!!

:thumbsup2
