Goodness no!!!!

He might just commit us all!!! But we could all hang out together and as long as part of our therapy includes going to Disney world WITHOUT any planning :faint: that would be okay!!

Seriously - could you all imagine if someone said to you today - we are leaving at 10:00 tomorrow morning for WDW - a limo will pick you up outside your home - how seriously panicked would you spend the next 12 hours?!?!!?!?

Panicked, probably, but you can bet I'd be in that Limo, we just got back and I'm making plans for the next trip, shirts included!

I think you should do it - and I don't need a free place to stay - just free park tickets!! :teeth:

I would love to move there and get a job!! What would you want to do?
Well, since I'm too old to be a princess, I'll settle for Fairy Godmother!! :rotfl2:

Seriously....I would love to be a dancer in one of the shows, but I'm prob. too old for that, and I can't sing.

I don't really know. I'd take what they offered, and keep switching around until I find something I really like. But I'd want to be in the A/C, whatever it is. :cold:

Speaking of obsessions.......

with all of the drama that is going on in my life, a great idea popped into my head today, while I was thinking about what will be coming down the road. Plans were for me to retire in Spring of 08. Now I don't know if I will be able to afford to do this, and not have something to supplement my retirement.

Well, what if I sold our house and moved to FL and worked for the Mouse?!?!?! What better job could there be to add income? The market in FL can't be as expensive as it is here, right? Sounds crazy, right?

Now I know all of you are saying 'do it' 'do it', and I hope it is not just so you will have a free place to stay when you go to disney. :teeth:

That sounds like a fabulous idea! I'd be green with envy, but happy for you! :thumbsup2

Kate,
Meant to ask you, how is your knee today?
It's okay -

Julia and I went to Target after dinner and it was buckling and bothering me - I am not so good about wearing my brace - I only wear it when I know I will be walking on it a lot and I hadn't planned on going to Target after we went out to eat

The hospital called me this afternoon to confirm Nicks appointment on Monday and I have pretty much been a wreck ever since! It is seeming very real now

Plus I am irritated with my MIL (I will delete this part in a bit so please don't quote it)
Steve called her last Sat to say Hi - they were at their condo in FL - no answer so he left a message - we went to a party that she knew about on Sunday - she left a message while we were at mass that said "Hi -just trying to catch you before the party - we will talk to you later"
then she left a message Monday night - my sister is here - she knew that - and we were at my moms
so then we had the parade Tuesday morning (that she knows about) and she called during that - each time leaving a message that said - just trying to catch up with you - hope you are having a great holiday
so then she leaves a message on Tuesday night - "Steve - this is mom - call me" I really thought by her tone that my FIL had died
turns out she had convinced herself we had died b/c we had not returned her phone calls and chewed Steve out when he called her -

HELLO - it was a holiday and we are under a little bit of stress!!! and not once has she ever asked about Nick - and Steve has had two VERY busy weeks at work -

does she really think yelling at him was productive?!?!!?

Tammi -

just think if you lived there - then you can use your DVC points to go other places!!!
Oh oh oh......another check in the "pros" column.

That is, if I get to keep the DVC points. :rolleyes1

Probably Belle -

or a picture of my kids at WDW - I would put Julia with Belle on the teacups - but Nick is already asking me if Buzz is going to ride his ride with him!!

I will have to make sure we are the first ones at Goofy's ride some day so we can have Nick ride it with Goofy - then he will have the chance to ride with a character!!! I can never duplicate Julia's experience but it would be nice to have him at least ride with Goofy!!

Okay -

I think we have all discussed with you that is the most important thing in the settlement - okay - maybe the kids and house should come first - but THEN the DVC points!!!

John doesn't even like WDW that much does he?

However, it is nearly impossible to do w/out consent of the ex. Trust me...and I have FULL custody, and it's still tough. Gotta win the lottery, to pay him off! :teeth:
Hey hey......don't go raining :umbrella: on my parade!! :teeth: ;)

He tolerated it for me.

BTW, Chanon came up with a great screename for him. He will now be known as DalmostXH.

Happy 3000 for me!!!!!!!

Ok, so you all laughed at the last couple of pictures, let's see what you think about my sanity when you see this one!!!!!!

Minnie told me that she wasn't always having to get permission from Mickey to drive his car or have to ride behind him. She wanted her own!

Alan thinks roller blades are the way to go, but I have to admit that I'm a bit nervous! Katie is so accident prone without wheels, I hate to think what will happen when she's on wheels! However, I can't hold her back forever. Or can I?????
I know the wheeled sneakers are popular but I think she would probably be safer with roller blades because she would actually need to plan on skating and not just skate at any time.

I agree with roller blades, get her all the safety equipment too. With the roller blades she won't be random places and than just skating whenever. Whatever you get make sure she practices using them in a none crowded area and help her learn. Don't just throw her out there and expect her to know what to do. Maybe even get her some beginner lessons, it can't hurt and it might help keep you sane.

I learned to skate in the Fisher price Adjustable size skates, I also used to roller skate in a friends basement when I was younger, I could skate with few problems. I ended up breaking my wrist in the 5th grade at another friends birthday party at a skating rink. I was skating along, a guy about 6 feet or taller was on speed skates and skating backwards he ran into my shoulder which spun me around and threw me to the ground. His momentum is what caused me to fall and break my arm in 3 places.

I went bowling in my cast and less than a week after I got my cast off I went skiing for the first time. My doctor told me I could and so I did. Nothing like trying to test fate. :rotfl2:

I knew what I was doing and still got hurt, some people at the party were only learning how to skate and were falling all over. It was a Friday night and crowded definitely not the way to learn to skate.

This isn't meant to chase you away from getting Katie some skates it is just letting you know that things happen but you can reduce her chance of injury with safety equipment and teaching her how to skate. I know you would like to hold her back but don't, if you give her the proper equipment and help her learn the proper skills her chance of injury will be less likely and it might help to boost her confidence by learning a new skill.

D could be the other version of Darn (you know the thing that holds the water back).
