Vicki & Deb, great pictures! Thanks for sharing :thumbsup2

By the way, my Baggalini messenger bag came & I got to use it this w/e. Warning, if you have a big bust then this is not the bag for you...I am a 36 D (i know TMI! ) & the bag cut across my chest in a very unflattering way. It's uncomfortable to wear the strap across the chest like that. I put my video camera & 35MM camera in it to see how much it would weight when we go to Disney & it just dug into my shoulder...Just wanted anyone who was interested in buying it that it might not be comfy for everyone. I much prefer a backpack.

Hope you get to feeling better soon pixiedust:

It's a pretty slow day around here. I am home from work as I woke up with a killer sore throat and headache. Phil has had a bad cold the last two days so I think I'm coming down with that. I probably could have lived with the throat, but not the head too. Just not worth the effort to fight it getting to work (this is when not having a car has it's down side). So, now I'm just kicked back in the chair and lamenting the lack of good things on daytime tv. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Me to please! (this is in reference to the dl meet ;) )

Just checking in...We went to see Cars this morning, there were 7 of us plus Brooksie. Will post pictures later. All the kids loved it but boy was it hard to get Mo to actually watch the movie. Right now I am enjoying the quietness of my house. Emma is at my MIL with her cousin and Mo is napping. Eric is doing laundry and cleaning our basement. I really should be doing something!! But I am going to catch up.

Chuck is going to drive me to drink! He really needs to go back to work! If he hangs around here every day, I think that I will probably strangle him. I feel like he is smothering me. I definitely know how SAHW feel when their husbands retire. I'm headed to the basement to get away from him. I guess this is a way for me to get my office finished since I can't stand being upstairs!

Tammi,

Looks like the kids had a great day. Love the pictures I totally agree about the staying close to home for the holiday. This is the first year since 2002 that we have been home and other than the inlaws was a great holiday! We had a bunch of fun with the neighbors.

Tia, hope you feel better soon.

Now for these damn tickers:mad:. I used to have one from v50.net, but wanted one a fancer one. Well what the heck am I doing wrong? When I posted the one for MVMCP a while back it turned out right, but now its not. :confused3

This is a feeble attempt at a catch up post. It is my no means going to be great but here goes..

Heidi, I am sending :wizard: for your mom and you as well.

Jen, Here's some :wizard: and :grouphug: I haven't found the whole story of what happened to the fireman yet but wanted to let you know that you and the his family are in my thoughts

Dawn, Happy Belated Birthday! Hope you had a great day.

Glynis, You look great and I loved seeing the pictures from the statue unveiling. What a wonderful thing for your father and your family! Love the baby shower pics. It will most undoubtedly put the one I am doing for my girlfriend to shame.

Denise, Sounds like you are enjoying your time alone with John. When do the kids return from your parents?

Kate, Not sure when Nick's test are scheduled for but I hope that they bring you answers and that you can know where you stand. It's a lot less scary once you know what you are dealing with than thinking about the unknown.

Vicki, Love the girls' pics from Japan, Dh is insanely jealous! They look like they had a great time and what an experience for them. Here's some more :wizard: for Chuck. Great job on the run!

Debbie, I love your trip pictures. What a cute Stitch your DGS makes.

Deb, Great shots of the boys in the parade. Glad to hear that you had a wonderful albeit busy camping trip.

Amy, Sending you lots of :wizard: for Matthew's arrival.

Terry, I love MTM's pictures. You certainly are enjoying yourself!

Tia, I hope you get to feeling better soon. There is nothing worse than a summer cold. I hate them!

Christi, Marci, & Tammi, Thanks for the compliments on the new signature!

Here is :wizard: :grouphug: :cheer2: for all that I missed!

Wow! It looks like all the travelin' pals are having a lot of fun. I love all the pictures on their thread. The one of Lindsay and Jonathon holding him on the beach reminds me of their Tink picture in their signature.

My mom and sister are "worried about" me. They think that I've lost my mind over Mickey & Minnie. Mom can't believe I made the girls take Nicky to Japan with them and reminded me how much they must love me for having done so. I know that! Mom said something like "I thought Tigger was your favorite Disney character?!" Yeah, he is but that doesn't mean that I can't love my travelin' Mickey too!
My mom just plain thinks I'm nuts for going to DL a third time in a year. I told her with our AP's it's just makes financial sense. :teeth: After all, we have to get our value out of them. :thumbsup2

For those of you not following Pal Mickey's adventure, I wanted to share this picture of the girls & my mother with my brothers family. This is a picture of all of them before the girls left Japan to come home.

Here's one of them at a restaurant in Japan. I'll have to wait for Becky to get up to tell me which restaurant this is. They went to a sushi place and a curry place in Japan. I think that this may be one of the restaurants that Bill manages on the club. He manages restaurants and clubs for the Yokota Air Force base.

Nice pics. Looks like fun.

They said that it looked pretty much the same as Walt Disney World. They said it was very Americanized.
OK I love the Stitch one. But, why is PM hiding he should be standing up tall in the pics. :teeth: :rotfl2:

I think he'd have enough picture taking for awhile. He told the girls no more. He said he got the obligatory pictures for me but he'd had enough! :lmao:

Lindsay contacted me that her December trip this year has moved. She has offered that if there is someone that would like Pal Brooksie to visit them between Nov. 15 and Dec. 10, she thinks he will have more fun there than in Texas. She is back on the list for Nov/Dec 2007 since that is when she is having the large family grand gathering. If anyone is interested in the 2006 slot, pm me.

ETA: Christi has taken over the slot. She says her boys will be happy to have him and she is already planning where she can take Pal Brooksie when he arrives.

Here are some pictures from Japan. The one thing the girls said was the most difficult was not being able to order without pointing or be able to understand what anyone was saying around them. Can you tell what these restaurants are?

I can't beleive they have a Denny's. :confused3 Not what I would think of when I think of Japan.

I didn't notice Colby's. I went back to take a closer look. Yep, there they were!

I wore my tie-dye ones at my mom's to freak out my sister. My sense of style (or lack thereof) has always been a sense of shame to her. She is my younger sister but was always the one that cared about things like that!Watch out you might get volunteered for What Not To Wear. :happytv:
