Becky is driving to my place and Stephanie is picking us up at 9 am. We figure it will take us about 3 hours depending on traffic. A friend of hers gave her directions to hopefully avoid all that traffic. We will have our cell phones on.

A P3 or P4, etc. is what Paula calls it when she posts several posts together. The P is for Paula and the number is how many posts there are together. The acronym just stuck and now we're all using it!

I think she actually called it "Paula's Private Posting Party" but then shortened it to P4. But the rest of us whose name doesn't start with a P only gets a P3.

Wanted to tell you one more thing before heading out. I don't know if I've ever told you my affinity to Eagles. My mascot in high school was the Eagle and so was Chuck's. Some Native Americans believe that the Eagle is the messenger from the after life because they can fly so high. One of my best friends is Native American and we had talked about this. About 2 months after my dad died, I was driving to work and was crying because I was missing him so much. It was a very difficult time and I was at my lowest emotionally. An eagle swooped up off the side of the road in front of my vehicle and followed my vehicle for a short distance. There were two more times when I was driving and really missing my dad and an Eagle flew right in front of the car. Well, when we bought our pop-up camper, the model that we liked was a Jayco Eagle.

When we started geocaching, you give yourself a username. We choice the "Wandering Eagles" because of our camper and my love of them.

Guess what our new travel traveler is? Yep, a Jayco Eagle. We did not go looking for it. We looked at different campers and that was what we liked.

2nd Has anyone ever heard of having an ebay auction that sells hope in a box or something that is really just for people to send donations? Why? SIL A says her friend has seen this where the “buyer” just sends donations to help with something like raising money for a cause. I am going to look on ebay, but I have no clue what to look for so I will be on search mode for some time.

YES! I remember a little boy's family, not too long ago, auctioning his 'brain tumor' to raise money for his surgery. They even went so far as to name it, and dang if I can remember. Do you remember this Elin? I don't recall if it was local here or national. BTW, they did raise a lot of $$$!

Actually they named the tumor "Frank" and made a bumper sticker that said "Frank Must Die". It was the bumper sticker that they auctioned off. The auction ended up getting shut down by ebay because it violated rules, advertising that the money would go to a cause, so they had to reword the auction to get it back online.

I packed when I got home this afternoon. Have one pair of shorts and a top, one pair of capris and a top, a swim suit, PJs and am wearing capris on the trip up. Do we need any more than that?!?!?

and I wish I had know this so we could have planned it - there is a 4 hour Segway Tour in DC for $70 - the only one open tomorrow is at 9:30 am and then Sunday at 2:00 - which is too late for us to still catch our plane!
