Just got the kids bathed & in bed for the night. We went to the beach & it was a lovely day. 4 moms, 11 kids..someone for everyone & age. Not a cloud in the sky, & I am alittle sunburnt again.
So I go look at my mail & wouldn't ya know it...

Three things….

1st I am sorry that my only posts these past few days have been about my family issues. They have taken over our lives and the only silver lining so far is the Detroit Free Press publishing an article on SIL T. I have much more to tell you all about this, but I am working fast with SIL A to build a website about this issue. This brings on item #2.



2nd Has anyone ever heard of having an ebay auction that sells hope in a box or something that is really just for people to send donations? Why? SIL A says her friend has seen this where the “buyer” just sends donations to help with something like raising money for a cause. I am going to look on ebay, but I have no clue what to look for so I will be on search mode for some time.



3rd I will be on and off the next few days for more than one reason. I will be working on making things to sell on ebay to pay for things SIL T might need (ticket for my niece to come out WHEN we get that fix, arrangements for SIL T service when the time comes and any extra expenses my MIL has to take on). So late nights will be my best friend.

MTM knew that our one camp Sports of All Sorts tried all kinds of sports. He was very excited to know that the kids really liked Soccer. Well, we dressed
Thomas in his Soccer gear but it was rainy and muddy. So he stayed inside and tried to get in form for next time. Here are a few pictures.

Thomas knew the goalies wore gloves so he thought he would play a joke and wear my Mickey hands.

Chuck says when is it a good time to visit Utah? He also wants to know what the weather is like in the fall. ETA: I'm also supposed to see how long it would take us to drive to Utah from here.

Any time is a good time to visit Utah!!! Seriously, though, it depends on what your interests are. In the winter we have great skiing, during the spring, summer and fall, there are great places for hiking, biking, camping, etc. At any time you can visit the National Parks, and always there are museums, theaters, shopping, etc. It really depends on what you want to do!

As for how long it would take you....that's something I just don't know. I've never been to Michigan, so I just don't have an idea. Sorry!

Wanted to tell you one more thing before heading out. I don't know if I've ever told you my affinity to Eagles. My mascot in high school was the Eagle and so was Chuck's. Some Native Americans believe that the Eagle is the messenger from the after life because they can fly so high. One of my best friends is Native American and we had talked about this. About 2 months after my dad died, I was driving to work and was crying because I was missing him so much. It was a very difficult time and I was at my lowest emotionally. An eagle swooped up off the side of the road in front of my vehicle and followed my vehicle for a short distance. There were two more times when I was driving and really missing my dad and an Eagle flew right in front of the car. Well, when we bought our pop-up camper, the model that we liked was a Jayco Eagle.

When we started geocaching, you give yourself a username. We choice the "Wandering Eagles" because of our camper and my love of them.

Guess what our new travel traveler is? Yep, a Jayco Eagle. We did not go looking for it. We looked at different campers and that was what we liked.

Very cool, indeed! Like he's looking out for you, still. I love it!
