the day bed at BC....

will they make the bed for me in the evening when we go out if I call....? I was just wondering....we are paying extra to have the bigger room w/the daybed...I was hoping the hotel would make it a bed while we were out...is this possible?

I am happy to answer your questions...for years I have been merely an observer on these boards learning so much, it is great to finally have the answer to someone else's question!

Call mousekeeping and request turndown service for all beds in your room...they will make up the daybed.

BC is our favorite on property resort...hope you like it as well!

We have stayed at the YC several times and the daybed is always already made. You just take the extra pillows (that make it look like a couch) off, turn it down and get in. They make it back up and put the pillows back when they do the other beds each day.

i will come in on the opposite end of this....We had 5 in our room, so we had the daybed, and it was never made up for us. We requested turn down service each night, which we didn't get. As far as bedding in the room for the daybed, there was a pillow (but no pillowcase) and a blanket (but no sheets) in the closet for the daybed. SIL was sleeping in it and by the time we got back to the room at night she didn't feel like calling for sheets, so she just slept on it as is. Also, in the morning the mousekeeper didn't make up the daybed, she just left the pillow and the twisted up blanket on it and left the "fancy" pillows on the floor. I thought the whole experience was very weird. We were only there 2 nights.

We stayed at YC 2 years ago and used the day bed. It was made up just like a regular bed each day, I guess it depends on who cleans your room.

Hi, we stayed at YC this past July. We had 5 in our room. When I checked the closet for sheets or blankets all I found was a blanket for the daybed no sheets. i am kind of funny on stuff like that so I just folded the banket over and used it like a sleeping bag. It was for my 4 year old son so not that big of a deal. The next day after housekeeping cleaned the room, while we were at the park, the day bed was completely made up with sheets and pillows and they made it up everyday after that. I would just call housekeeping when you get to the room and ask for extra sheets for the day bed.

I don't understand your comment about paying extra for the larger room with daybed. Unless you are getting a deluxe room or suite all the rooms with daybeds are the same cost as ones without a daybed. There is no extra cost at Beach Club for daybeds.
