In the south, almost all schools are over and done with BEFORE Memorial Day, so our summer vacations have already started. Up north, most schools start later, like late August or September, and they go into June. So, I would think that early summer crowds could be moderate, but nothing like the big crowds you see mid-summer, Christmas, Easter, ect.....I think it will be fine, just be prepared with a plan, use FP, etc. I know very early summer (when many schools are not out yet) and very late summer (when many schools have already started up again) are both prime choices for folks who DON'T want their kids missing school....and YES there are still some of us out there! We homeschool now, but we still have activites to plan around and we don't like for our kids to miss them!
