I love scrapbooking too, but boy those things can get expensive. All of the little 1.99 and 2.99 items sneak up on you and before you know it you have spent a ton of money.

I scrapbooked 2 of my Disney trips, and I think by the time all was said and done, the books cost me about $350!! EACH!

It's so much fun though.

It's a little confusing, so I lose stuff often. I got like 10 pairs of scissors with different designs off of ebay years ago. Everything else came from Hobby Lobby. I love that store!

Thanks for the heads up! Darren and I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday, but I didn't get too much because I knew a new sale was starting today. I always go to their website and print the 40% off coupon to use!

I KNOW!!! A few months ago I spent over 70 dollars in stuff for this scrapbook and I still have to go back for more. There's no telling how much it will be in the end. I try to go when the stuff is half off so the 1.99 and 2.99 stuff isn't SO bad...I just love all of the stuff and I want to buy every sticker in the place lol.

While I have a minute, I'll give y'all a quick update on me. The scrapbook is taking alot of my time, plus I went to my cousin's 2nd birthday on Saturday, my ex boyfriend/really good friend from North Carolina is in town and he wants to hang out this week (had to switch to next week since I'm so busy), I have to make sandwiches for Logan's party, plus help set up for it. His party is Saturday. Hopefully the scrapbook will be done and I can relax on Sunday!

I went to Toys R Us yesterday and got him a basketball hoop, a sit 'n spin (I had one when I was little and I loved it!) some clothes, the cutest pair of flip flops, little crocs, two books, one of those ball popper things that you push that I will give to him on his actual birthday, Friday. Plus the scrapbook.

So that's about it right now. Here's some pictures!

I love scrapbooking myself and know how expensive it can get. You would think that it wouldn't be. But things start to add up. Once you have all the tools, which is a huge expense, then you spend $$ on paper and the extras. I just finished a Hawaiian honeymoon album for my brother and I spent close to $100. Now I know that I wouldn't have written him a check for that much. I also just finished my countdown calendar for our upcoming trip, well not that upcoming, for June 2009. I used the Disney paintchip samples from Home Depot and created a kinda roladex kinda thing with 2 large jump rings. I have to say that it's pretty frickin cute! I would love to see some of your finished products.
