today Megan and I are going to see Elf the Musical
Sunday going to my BFF for afternoon
Christmas eve I'm hosting dinner for my mom and 2 bro families- going to mass (older bro fam will spend the night) open family gifts
Christmas morning - Santa, then going to mom's for breakfast, then to BIL for dinner with Jim's side


rest of today and tomorrow:
clean house
get table set up
layout dishes and serving pieces

Good morning everyone

I'm not sure if my boys understand dates - so surprizing them isn't possible for something in the furture - it was fun on our first day ever at Disney, DH worried about Richard that he would hate, of course Richard started fussing at the end of the rides on the first day - he didn't want the rides to stop, of course we were thinking he hated them. he started giggling on the rides then fussing when they started to slow down - afterr about the 5 ride he figured out we would keep going to other rides so he stopped fussing. gotta love a DH that would help pay for a vacation thinking he would end up in the hotel (pool - he figure would be fine) for the whole week

anyways back to today

DH is working today then off for the rest of the year
DH Mom is suppose to come over either the day before or the day after Christmas
Christmas day we are going to my M&Ds house - older sister & brother with their families will be there.
otherwise my only plans are to work on scrapbooking when DH lets me - he usually has stuff he wants to do when the whole family is off.

I put leftover chicken in the crockpot with some onions - thinking Chicken soup would be great for supper. not sure what I"m going to fix for lunch

trying to decide what to scrap next - thinking tea cups, or anther TL lo or I have a Mickey & Minnie as Woody & Jessie that could go in frontierland

I think it is great! I am sure you felt relieved that you found a vacation "home" that your family could enjoy. I know it was that way for us with our DS. It felt nice to feel like we found a place where our little family "fit" so to speak. I feel you girl

The girls were super excited. I will have to post a picture of DD2 some time. Reddy-DS has no concept of time or waiting either. We also are just saying we are going on a cruise (and not telling the kids about the second part of the trip to WDW) because we were afraid of DS's reaction when we got on the ship and it wasn't WDW (meltdown because he wouldn't understand). This way, we can talk about the cruise with him. Then when they think we are heading home, surprise limo to take us to the world!! Yes- I have great in-laws. All 3 kids will appreciate the surprise of WDW at the same time this way!! Fingers crossed it works

We'll be enjoying family time and finishing up chores this weekend. We'll be just our family for Christmas Eve (first time in a really long time). Christmas day will be Santa then go to see Les Miserables then to my mom's for dinner and gift exchange.

Dbf took kids shopping.
DD#3 stayed home to watch a movie and have a bath. Haha.
Christmas pjs are in the wash, once they are dry I need to wrap them.
Maybe wrap dbfs gifts
Finish picking out pics for dbfs mom, get ordered to be picked up.
Figure out DD#3s Santa gift-she asked for a puppy a real one. Sheesh. Others were easy
Get stuff for dbfs family for gag gift stockings.

the show was really cute! we had a great afternoon and tried a new restaurant for dinner "Palamino" was yummy!

I woke up with a horrible headache yesterday . By the time it went away, we had missed the first movie we wanted to see, so we did some wrapping and went to the second show.

Stopped for some last minute things on the way home. DH volunteered 'us' to make lasagna at the ILs for Christmas Day. What? That means I'll be making lasagna tomorrow along with cupcakes and a baked Brie. Good thing I have the day off.

Christmas Eve we go to one sister's, my mom spends the night here, DH makes a big breakfast, we go to the ILs for presents and 'lunch', and finally to another sister's for presents and dinner. Whew, I'm already tired.

Today I will finish my wrapping. I need a creative idea for an iTunes e-gift card. I don't want to just print out the email. Anyone? Morgan sounds like she's coming down with a cold. If it's not too cold and she feels okay, we may go to the live nativity. If she's not up to it, we'll just hang at home.

DH finally spoke with his sisiter we will have dessert with his family and dinner with mine.

Wrapping is almost done, just the few last minute things DH picked up for his nephews.

Stayed up late watching Christmas movies with Julia last night, did not want to get up this morning.

been out bought the last few things I needed and now home to wrap them and finish the 2 blankets and other thing. Headache is moving in on the right side of my head not sure why...... but downing advil and coke to kick it out so don't have time for it today!

Off to get busy I want to be done wrapping and everything by 4 today. I have no extra days off from work so need to get it in gear.

we went to bed at 9 last night and still didn't want to get up this morning...oh well, house to clean, cook bacon for green beans, make my stuffing and heading to BFF around 4 to make gingerbread cookies and have pizza!

Afternoon all,

Has been a great, lazy weekend so far. It's just DH and I and we haven't spent a day together in awhile and now we have four days TOGETHER!! He ended up swapping with another manager for duty on NYE and NY so we can have Christmas together

We went out to dinner with high school friends Friday night, yesterday out to breakfast and dinner and went to see the latest James Bond flick, and now we are getting ready to drive down to Islamorada in the Keys and spend the afternoon there with our high school friends who head back home tomorrow.

Not sure what we will do tomorrow but we are going to Smith and Wollensky on South Beach (an upscale steak house) for dinner on Christmas Day!

And in 13 more days, we head to WDW for 5 days to be followed by a 3 night DVC Member cruise on the Dream - I can't wait!!

Sounds like all of us have our hands full with activities!!
For those under the weather, feel better soon!!! Christmas is not the time to feel bad.. they only good thing is not traveling anywhere if you don't feel good...

I have a list a mile long today but everyone is going to help or I'm going on strike!!


So, the must for me are:

review 2013 pay off deadlines for 2 CCredit cards.. they are minimal but I want them gone!
I am paying off another CC in Feb.
need to wrap and stuff the stockings
Need to have PJ tag the 2 gifts hidden in her room to bring out Monday night... She can't get into her closet because those gifts are hidden in there.. they can't be wrapped..
make sure family members finish their list of chores
need to work in the scrapbook room
set 2013 goals ** one year til DS16 graduates and everything has to be done but current events by 3/2014...
