The Daily Grind ~ 9/7/12

Good Morning!!! TGIF!!!

I hope everyone is able to accomplish their tasks for today so they can relax this weekend with little or to nothing to do.

I have gotten a few things scratched off my list already... so the rest of my list includes:

1. get boys up for school
2. DONE
3. boys to school
4. work on digital book for 2010 Ft. Myers/Sanibel/Captiva excursion working on; it's turning out pretty cool...
5. grocery ~ milk
6. scrap some traditional pages
7. pick up DS11 to school
8. homework/snack
9. pick up DS16 from soccer
10. dinner
11. if boys go to game; I get to scrap (if no game due to storms; movie night) Game time underway, I'm getting minute by minute texts... the youngest is in trouble for not occupying his dad... now I have to get play by play while trying to scrap!

hmmm I'm not sure to wish you no game or game tonight - scrapping time vs family time - both sounds good

DH had to open the store this morning so we got up early except for Richard (he is still sleep, how with James up I"m not sure)
I got the biggest headache this morning so I'm waiting for the advil to kick in before getting Richard up - James is dressed & ready to go to school
I'm working on a Mike & Sulley piecing - got them cut out just need gluing but Richard up first
I'm so glad it is Friday - this week has been crazy busy at work - I can't seem to get everything stocked & feel like I"m running the whole time

And so it begins...First dance class tonight. Only an hour and a half this week. Next Monday will start the 4 and half hour a week deal. I'm going to have to do some cutting so I can adhere as I wait.

My sister is in town from Florida (she'll probably go home and go to the food and wine festival...brat!), so we're going over there for dinner tonight. Lobsters, they can't come to NE and not get lobsters!

We may go to the corn maze this weekend. Depends on the weather.

Low key day today, got my hair cut and colored (buh bye grey!) this morning, went to Michaels and now at home. Getting ready to scrap...

afternoon all!!!!

well the list is done other than dinner which is clean out the fridge night. I'm done with this week.
I ended up running an xtra 10 miles around town dropping off Levi's friend then just as I headed home I got a text from the "date" (from 8th grade dance) her "boyfriend" dumped her on the side of the road. Thank god still in town but not the nicest part of town. So I whipped the truck around and went and got her to drop her at home. She's at least on my way home. I had a feeling he'd pull something when he saw her talking to us @ school. ARGH I told both my boys if they EVER do something like that they won't sit down for a week. I don't care how mad they get at someone take them home.

So now I'm going to scrap!

Oh, if that was one of my kids he would be in the same situation your boys are in... and one thing is for sure her... who ever that guy is if it happened to PJ would NOT be back at his house nor would she ever see him again.... and I'd let my boys handle the rest.. .brothers would NOT be standing on the sidelines for that one.... If he does that now...what will he do in the future.. What a jerk!!!!

I wonder what the guy's mom thinks about that happening?? I hope she is like us & she finds out
I"m glad she is OK & you got her - that is what matters the most right now (I;m glad she knew to call you & felt like she could)

Levi is ready to handle this himself. I thank god this jerk doesn't go to our schools. And he really only likes her as a friend! I really want to text her and check she's ok....... I thank god that 90% of his friends know they can call me.

Reddy I hope his mom well you know what I mean. Unfortunately I'm quite sure she's not like us. Levi says that the dad is sending him to the army, can't happen soon enough for me.

Christy, the kids' friend here know they can call, text, or stop by the house anytime.. the door is open... We have been there for many of the kids especially when it comes to homework!
