we leave for NY tomorrow morning

sun is up an shining today might hit 80!!!!

busy day here:

towels, sheets, couple loads of clothes
run/empty dishwasher
swipe at house
trashes
nail appts for us both
have megan pack her toys/activities for plane
finish packing
load car tonight
might work on swap's if time

bed early tonight....4am will be coming quick!

tomorrow:

up and over to mom's - leave my car there and she takes us to airport
flt at 730am - arrive JFK 4pm

can't wait to meet Buffy, Cindy (bearbear) and Pam (PinballFamily) and their families!

will try to check in when I have access to a computer

Good morning, everyone!! So, the roofing crew didn't show yesterday--turns out it was a backlog in shingles again. So the contractor got us some shingles, and they are here (arrived at 7 am) and are working away. It's loud, but we're so happy to have the new roof, we don't care!!

My list for today:

1. Up & Caffeinate
2. Breakfast
3. Empty dishwasher
4. Work on list of to-do's
5. DS outside
6. Send DH pics of the roofing
7. Lunch
8. Nap--hoping they'll be on the front by then, our rooms are at the back9. More outside time
10. Meet with contractor
11. Watch "So You Think You Can Dance" tonight!!

await confirmation from friend she is driving in town tomorrow to do the ZOO!!! We're going!! Bright and early @ 9AM!!!
finish lanyard gifts for friend coming in town
pack snacks for tomorrow and little goodie bag for her DS and my littlest
finish putting photos on 4-H projects and we can call this year complete
start on 4-H record sheets
finish 2 pages for 4-H scrapbook and call that complete forever (I am not doing it next year, too much on my plate)
sort photos I need for 2011 (May & June to scrap)
once over on house (kids will clean their rooms or not go to zoo tomorrow) working on.. 2 kids' rooms done... one to go..and then the rest of the house.... it's not bad..

Lisa and Megan - have a most magical trip to New York. Sorry we could not connect, but we'll be spending that day with my mom while my sister and her DH are at a wedding.

Buffy - I did not hear you honk/shout as you traveled through town this morning. Good luck with your new RV.

Dishwasher was installed finally yesterday. HOURS after our scheduled time. I sure hate it when people waste my day.

Now today the hall toilet is beyond clogged, we cannot get it unclogged. Need to send email to property company and have them get someone out here asap.

DD's new green highlights turned out pretty nice. although it did bleed while they rinsed it yesterday and tinged most of the back green too, hairdresser said it would come out in a few washes. oh well she feels all cool.

Relax or finish unpacking/organizing my scrap space. Made huge progress yesterday. New cricut is out of the box and plugged in. Went to target last night in search of shelves, walked out with 4 baby outfits, socks, new shoes for girls.... no shelves. Got distracted by baby clothes, and running late. Will try again tomorrow.

Cheryl, it's the last big push before 4-H fair... so it's major stress here...but we'll be done after tonight..the only thing left to add will be the name tags but we don't receive those til Sunday- book signing.. (I had some left over from years past so I had the boys fill them out and complete their projects totally!!!!) PJ needs to just add photos... DH is bringing them home..
