Morning,

Well after 2.5 hours at the dr.'s office it was determined that DH has an inflamed joint between his clavicle and shoulder. Will need 4 weeks of PT 3x a week and will then go back for a follow-up visit and x-rays. As for his back, spasms happen, he needs to drink more water, move more and add some potassium to his diet. He also recommended going to see a chiropractor. So, the treatment begins!

Another hot and steamy day with rain moving in. 60-70% chance of rain today thru the Saturday. Just as well as apparently the beach water is so warm, it is carrying flesh eating bacteria! 6 Floridians have been diagnosed so far - yuck!!!

Today:
Morning chores
Write out bills to pay
Water porch plants
Clean out and wipe down fridge and door seals
Dust and clean downstairs
Vacuum & Mop downstairs floors
Make grocery list/coupons
Make bran muffins
Hope to scrap a couple more pages
Dinner?

Enjoy your day,
Becky

Good Morning!

So I guess lots of potatoes, tomatoes, and bananas will be part of your diet Becky- all rich in potassium.

Today:
meeting at 10am
avoid crazed lobster fishermen
store for a couple of things
Celebrate recovery tonight
water aerobics

Rebecca

Good morning!

Becky happy you found out about treatment for your DH, hope he follows doctors orders! Yuck on the bacteria!
Rebecca enjoy your day!

P and PD to all

Megan and my nephew will be spending day with grandma, shopping for school stuff, lunch and maybe a movie.

all I have planned to do today is bring kids to grandmas and scrap!!!

dinner - honey/garlic chicken, baked potatoes and broccoli

have a wonderful day :hippie:

Becky, talk to the physical therapist about a dense foam roller. We have this one. the 3 foot round, it really helps with the tightness in the upper back and shoulders. DS18 also uses it to stretch his IT band. He's been struggling with IT Band issues since winter and it really is helping. DS13 and I both struggle with tightness in the upper back and DS battles with his chest too. Rolling out daily really helps. Also DH has 2 ruptured disks from a car accident and the way he walks now causes spasms and tightening so he rolls out with this roller to keep the tightness down to a minimum.
Both me and our chiropractor order from perform better. I think we got the foam roller and our tiger tails in 2-3 days.
